Close to the beach but far from ideal
Having to visit a separate check in location a mile away from the venue to pick up a single set of physical keys that are a struggle to use isn't the best way to start your stay. The check in time was 3 and the office closes at 5, which seems like an obvious oversight on their part. Joining the 21st century and employing electric locks with an emailed code would go a long way toward improving the experience, especially with the risk of losing your only barely functioning key at the beach. The driveway is shared with another property rented through the same company and, while there is a sign asking those visitors not to block you in, there isn't actually anywhere else for them to park which makes the sign more insulting than useful. There are all the usual hallmarks of a corner cutting VRBO, from providing a single roll of toilet paper and a single tissue thin trash bag to passive aggressive signs scattered like Easter eggs around the property. On the positive side, the employees were very polite when I spoke with them during the check in and out process. It's a very short walk to the beach and there are plenty of places to eat also within walking distance.I wouldn't personally rent from this company again considering there are other options in the area.
