Njut av utsikten över stranden från de rymliga öppen planlösningsområdena i vår unikt designade "bure" -stil. Kasta i solen på fordäcket eller promenera över den främre gräsmattan till den orörda Te Horo-stranden. Fantastisk simning på sommaren, strandpromenader alla säsonger.

På sommaren kan du njuta av utomhusmåltider med vänner under pergolan i den vackra kustträdgården. På vintern kan du koppla av vid veden med en bra bok, brädspel, titta på dina favorit-DVD-skivor på den stora böjda TV-skärmen. eller bara krulla upp på fönsterstolen och se vågorna rulla in.

Oavsett säsong, uttryck din konkurrensanda med pool, bordtennis eller petanque (ett glas vin i handen).

Inspirerad av Ruth Prettys närliggande matlagningsskola kan du laga en storm på BBQ eller i det välutrustade köket. Eller njut av lokala kaféer och restauranger. Vid risk för midjan är det en 15 minuters promenad till Kirstys busshållplats i Sims Rd.

Stilfullt inredda: gå i vila till ljudet från vågorna:
sängar är utrustade med kvalitetslinne, handdukar, och allt du behöver anländer och njuter. 3 sovrum i huset och 2 badrum (1 badrum). Sovrum 4 (sleepout kopplat till garaget) tema som en pirat hangout - perfekt för tonåringarna med sin egen TV / DVD-spelare. Värmare och elektriska filtar håller sovrummen varma

Bara en timme från Wellington på motorvägen, eller 10 minuter från Waikanae Rail Station, och tio minuter från Otakis shoppingbyn.

En bra plats för en helg bort från staden, eller en utvidgad familjeåterförening. Mogna hyresgäster välkomna; huset kan vara mindre lämpligt för förskolebarn.

New Zealand Beach House

Great relaxing place to stay on the Ocean. The owner was top notch and very helpful. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was awesome. The beach house had everything we needed and more. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Beautiful relaxing retreat

We had a weekend here - the house is perfect for a big group - with so much space for lounging and eating together. Its even more beautiful than the pictures and such a lovely sociable layout. Super clean, great communication from Denise and lots of little touches that made it extra special. We want to come back next year :)

Mid-Winter Weekend

My family enjoyed a wonderful long weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, including a well appointed kitchen. The living/dining area was spacious, modern and had amazing views. The beach was steps away for walks and Otaki was a quick drive for supermarket etc. The outdoor patio and deck must be great in the summer! Host was very responsive.

Wedding party group

We loved staying here -- the great views, kitchen, and spacious bedrooms were a great home base. It had everything we needed and we felt very at home with the generous welcome hamper! Excellent selection of reading materials and entertainment. Would recommend this for any group and hope to be back soon.

Magic family get away

What a lovely family long weekend (teens, parents, and elderly parents) celebrating an 86th birthday. Magic location with stunning sunsets, and a hop, skip and a jump to the beach for lovely long walks. Thanks for early/late check in/out, and for the wonderful basket of treats too.

Lovely Spot

What a lovely place to stay with the family! Denise's communication was second to none, and despite the terrible weather we were unlucky enough to experience, there was still plenty of things to do over our stay. A lovely gift basket awaited us, and we enjoyed all the little extas that were available. There was a lovely kiddies playground just around the corner which we did get to once the weather fined up, and we enjoyed catching sharks off the beach!

Amazing Place!

This place is amazing - right on the beach and a really well set out house with lots of space. a lovely welcome basket and lots of cupboard staples where there. great instructions. loved it so much we have booked again in a few months. Definitely a favourite!

An ideal location for a peaceful break

We were looking for a location for a quiet and peaceful stay with our immediate family, where we could relax together. This property ticked all the boxes and Denise the host was outstanding. It was perfect, the house is just brilliant, and the location right on the beach allowed us to enjoy the winter stay in comfort. The house is so well equipped, and the fire is great, we just didn’t stay long enough! We will be back, and for longer.

Family holiday at the beach

We spent a fantastic week at Te Horo beach. The property is on the beach with lovely views. The kids went swimming everyday! The kitchen is well-stocked and it was a pleasure cooking meals for a big family. The owner made us feel very welcome with little extra touches. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this property if you want a stress-free family holiday right on the beach!

We live and work in central Wellington and escape to the Beach Retreat with friends and family whenever time permits! One of us is Kiwi born and the other originates from Hampshire, England. Our young adult daughter still enjoys the beach experience when she can be lured away from city life.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love the house and area; we discovered the unique beachside settlement by visiting friends there. It's less than an hour from Wellington, but has a beachside village atmosphere, which leaves suburbia behind. We immediately loved the house when we saw it - unique architecture with its soaring ceiling and wide views to the sea. We enjoy summer, but equally curling up in front of the fire on a winters day is great too.
