Homestead Living at Lake Wenatchee

This unique one room cabin (with an enclosed bathroom) was built in the 1950's and is an original Trappers cabin. It was completely remodeled in 2020 with all new amenities.

Midway Grocery is within walking distance; you can enjoy a hot latte in the winter or a hand dipped cone in the summer. There is a snow park for cross country skiing or snow shoeing just down the street. The snow park for snowmobiling is about 2 miles down an adjacent road. Stevens Pass is approximately 30 minutes away for down hill skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer.
Leavenworth is about 25 minutes away. You can spend the day in town and then return to the cabin for peace and quiet.

Please be advised that in winter, 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle is recommended.
The cabin sits on a main road that is plowed by the county and we keep the driveway plowed as well, but we are not responsible for guests not being able to make it over the pass in snowy conditions, therefore, refunds for weather conditions will only be offered if both Stevens Pass and Snoqualmie Pass are closed and/or it is too dangerous to travel, as determined by the WSDOT.

Great small/cute getaway

The home is very cozy and a great getaway for 2. Kitchen has everything you’d need for some good homemade food and t’s conveniently located by many fun outdoor activities!

The place is small and cozy. Neighbors are close by but that didn't bother us. We had a great time and a very white Christmas here.

Everything you need nothing you don't

Excellent place to stay if you want to spend time around the camp fire, gives you the basic things you need to have a comfortable time the fire pit area is awesome !!

Great based for X-C skiing

The place was cozy, well-appointed, and comfortable. In a good location for outdoor activities--central, but quiet compared to Leavenworth. There was a snafu with cleaning, but I understand it has been corrected.

Cozy winter stay!

We had a great time hiking around Lake Wenatchee, driving into Leavenworth, and skiing in Plain. Coming back to our nice cabin with a warm wood stove was wonderful.

Clean, quiet, well-appointed cabin

This cozy cabin is perfect for a single hiker/skier or for a couple who enjoy a quiet get-a-way from urban life. Close to beautiful Lake Wenatchee, trails, and the Bavarian themed tourist town of Leavenworth, the location offers many chances for adventure. Great communication with the owner, too!

What a great find

Arrival was great, it was a 90+ degree day and the owner had the A/C turned on. Very clean, cozy and well equipped, had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable, no complaints.

Cross Country Ski Heaven

We love it here! This is our third time staying at the cabin and we will be back again. It's a perfect space for winter adventures as there are many cross country ski trails surrounding. It's such a sweet cabin, has everything needed to be comfortable - including an incredibly comfy bed, and the location is superb.

Just what you need

Minimalist cabin with everything you need. It was like what glamping should be! While I was hanging out by the fire pit I saw a wild turkey saunter by so that was cool.

Coziest Winter Wonderland Cabin

This is our 4th time here, so needless to say, we love it! I gave this cabin 5 stars (again) because it is exactly that. We always have such a beautiful time warming up by the fire, cooking up great food in the kitchen, sleeping awesome, and cross-country skiing in the area. We will be back!

Perfect for our needs!

It's just perfect! Not too small and not too big. You have enough space for everything you need. It's perfectly close to Leavanthworth, lake Wenatchee, and many other activities. It was very clean and the whole vibe was perfect for us.

Great little get away. Cozy cabin has more things than expected including fridge/freezer, microwave, keurig, little tv with dvd’s, and an outdoor fire pit and grill. We enjoyed our time there. Comfy bed, nice lighting. Loved the little details in this trapper’s cabin. Had a deer visitor too!

Wonderful Stay

It is easy to tell right away the care and thought put into this cabin. For being small in size, it has a big delivery. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: Well equipped little kitchen, firewood and kindling, comfortable bed and linens, nice dvd selection, and even the cozy fire pit area. We will definitely be coming back!
