A beautiful rural location close to everything.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Haumoana. A peaceful rural setting with alpacas grazing nearby. It was the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience—just 5 minutes to the beach and about 15 minutes to the local towns. The cabin itself was spotless, very well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the bay. without being too far from town.

Great location!

Tukutuki cottages never fails to impress. Set amongst vineyards and apple orchards, it is quiet and relaxing. The cottages are private and look out onto well-kept gardens with plenty of room to run around if you have a need to. The cottages are well designed and elevated from the ground, a bedroom on either side of the main living space. We arrived late Friday evening and enjoyed the local vineyards and restaurants for the weekend. Napier is close - a 15- minute drive away and Havelock North is even closer.I would stay here again.

Great Accessible Accommodation

This was our first holiday with the need for a fully accessible accommodation. I'm paralysed and in a wheelchair so require a roll in shower and ramp entry to the cottage as well as beds at a lower height. Whilst the cottage isn't set up as 100% accessible with the kitchen items a bit hard to reach, the main things are and thats what was important. It was the perfect place for our first trip away. The cottage is clean and comfortable. We spent every night sitting on the deck enjoying a bbq dinner and some wine. Julie is a lovely host and is extremely accommodating. She is always happy to help. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable- we will be back!

Cycle Weekend away

We had a delightful weekend with friends at Syrah, cycled the Tuki Tuki river track and visited local cafes then finished the weekend with a bbq and some local wine on the grass. Accommodation was fantastic and in a perfect location. We will visit again for sure.

Peaceful rural retreat

Tuki Tuki cottages provided a wonderful stay for our family. The rural location was beautiful and peaceful but an easy drive to Napier, Havelock and Hastings. Our kids loved the alpacas! The cottage was well equipped and very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend.

Great spot for the family

Fantastic cottage with decent outside space. Perfect for kids to play and be free. Close enough to do all activities in surrounding areas. Excellent service, highly recommend.

Truly wonderful

A fantastic property with everything that you could wish for. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, three TV's and nice hospitable touches like bread and milk in the fridge. The kids loved the Alpaca's and it was such a peaceful environment for a holiday. I would totally recommend this property.

Peaceful & Pleasant

It was nice to be in a beautiful garden away from the road and corresponding noise. The unit was very clean, comfortable, private and beautifully fitted out. We thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely location with beautiful views of farms

We had a great time staying in this well appointed cottage looking out at the beautiful land around - apple orchards, lemon/lime trees, visiting alpacas and well maintained garden. It was incredibly peaceful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sun set while sipping a glass of wine. Why stay in a hotel when you can have a place all to yourself? I don't know why we ever did. The cottage was well laid out for a family (ie their room and bathroom was on the other side of the living room :-). We would definitely stay again!

Rural, quiet and relaxed

The perfect place to retreat to after a busy few days with extended family in Havelock North (15mins drive away). Julie was awesome to work with, a superb hostess. All the amenities that you require are here, including a BBQ on the deck as you sit back and enjoy the sunsets.

A wonderful stay in a lovely location

Syrah Cottage provided the perfect accommodation for our party of two couples, with a spacious bedroom and ensuite at each end of the cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and there was plenty of room to relax, either inside or outside on the deck overlooking the lovely garden. It's one of the nicest properties we have stayed at and we are already planning a return visit later in the year.

home away from home

Loved staying at these cottages, peaceful, beautiful scenery and great hosts. Everything you could want in a holiday rental. Julie even left us Easter eggs, hot cross buns and provisions. Highly recommend that you stay with them. Until next time.

Syrah Cottage was a wonderful place to stay as a base for a bit of an explore around Hawkes Bay, it was well equipped with everything we needed and more, and the neighbours (alpacas in the paddock next door) were enjoyed by our children!
