Great simple bach, would benefit from a deep prodessional clean as feels very lived in. Bur a great nostalgia trip to the 80's with the decor and a wonderful location. Games room downstairs was a hit.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Te Weta Bay. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by bush with lovely views out to the lake. The house itself is spacious, comfortable, and well set up for families, with plenty of room.A real highlight for us was the games room – such a bonus, especially when the weather wasn’t great. The kids were happily entertained for hours with pool, table tennis, and darts, which made it relaxing for the adults too.Overall, it’s a great spot for a family holiday any time of year, with something for everyone.

Came to see where my son has settled. Love the area. This is Kev & Jamie's home now. Very happy to be part of it.The bach is rustic, has everything covered, toastie warm in mid winter. Loved the fire abd games room. Lovely open plan living. Loved the Okere Falls Storeroom, the walks, endless drives.Definitely be back!!

Annual family catch up

A great house. We loved the fire, it was cozy and clean. Just the right size. The games room downstairs means teens could hang out away from adults. Good sized table to have everyone around and 2 cooks in the kitchen worked well. We also loved the novelty of having our boat launched and tied to the jetty.

Loved our stay

Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by native trees and birds. We had lots of fun swimming and kayaking at the lake. The games room kept us entertained for hours. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Davids rustic cabin is a fantastic spot. Take two lefts and you’re at the lake, perfect for kids to play around. The cabin itself is so cozy, spacious, it’s all there. Thanks for the stay

Wholesome weekend

We had a wonderful stay on this property. It was warm, cosy, spacious and wonderfully equipped for our family. The kids enjoyed time lakeside, alongside some great food at Okere Falls store. Highly recommend, we will be back! Easy staycation option from Tauranga.

Our time at Te Weta Bay

Had a great time. An idyllic quiet spot. Great set up in the basement with dart board, pool table and table tennis, which kept the kids occupied. Would love to return.

Awesome weekend

Great spot we loved it! Being our annual trout fishing tournament having the use of the wharf made it perfect, coming back to cooked breakfast in the morning and heading back out fishing again for the afternoons was bliss, will definelty be looking to book again!

Nice we remote spot, hidden away. The owner met us on arrival and it was fantastic to hear that they had put the fire on earlier in the day for us as we arrived later than we expected, it was going to be a cool night.

Well located property, a little bit tired, but clean and comfortable. Best part was waterfront jetty in safe, sheltered bay to leave boat during stay.

Absolutely loved the property

This is a well loved family retreat with really happy vibes. It is in a beautiful setting, relaxing and very well equipped, particularly in the kitchen. No dishwasher was not a disadvantage as it promoted conversation & laughter. Lots of comfortable seating and quality beds with equally quality coverings. Great location with a short drive to Rotorua township and a very civilised café close by. Pool table & table tennis provided lots of fun. An added bonus were the bush walks close by. Great owners to deal with as well.
