Secluded and light-filled Pacific NW Waterfront home on the North end of San Juan Island with views of Speiden Island.

NEIL BAY WATERFRONT PROPERTY, PET FRIENDLY. Enjoy access to a private mooring buoy for your larger boat and a boat dock to tie your dinghy and kayaks. You have access to the vacation home by steep staircase.
The great room with floor to ceiling windows overlooks Spieden Channel with amazing views of wildlife abound. Across the Channel is Spieden Island, shrouded in strange and exotic tales of non-native wild animals and unconfirmed sightings of Sasquatch. Uninhabited, with around 550 acres, it is now home to Corsican big horn sheep and Fallow deer from Asia, amongst others. All living and peacefully grazing, safe in an environment freed from any hunting for at least 22 years.
Large deck with ample seating to enjoy all that nature has to offer. A large modern kitchen with bar seating and dining area open to the living room. Waffle machine, toaster and popcorn maker provided. Outdoor cooking on Proane BBQ and crab cooker. Cornhole game for yard play. Living room with comfortable seating, propane fireplace and smart TV.
You are welcome to plug into a 14-50 outlet for you to plug in your e-vehicle.using you own connector.

ENJOY the home's HIGH SPEED BROAD BAND Internet added in 2024.

Upstairs loft master bedroom with King bed and an alcove room with twin for young child. Large master full bath. 2nd bedroom with Queen bed, 3rd Bedroom with 2 twin beds and 2nd Full Bathroom downstairs. Pack - N - Play provided.
Roche Harbor Resort, airport and Marina is walkable in about 25 minutes via wooded trails, or reachable by car within 5 minutes. Resort amenities include a full Spa, whale watch and kayak tours, (3) restaurants, marina, swimming pool and extensive sculpture park to tour.
Walkability to the Sculpture garden, Mausoleum, Roche, many trails. Close to Westcott Bay Oysters.

The house was wonderful in every aspect and was perfect for six of us. I have stayed in many VRBOs, and this was definitely a 10 out of 10. Communication with our host was excellent, the amenities were as described, the location near Roche Harbor was convenient, the view beautiful! I hope to return one day!

Was very clean and comfortable. Appreciated that it wasn’t over-decorated! Lovely, quiet place. Make sure that your early risers stay upstairs because otherwise they will wake up those folks.

Nice home near Roche Harbor

On the very positive side, the location is great, quiet and close to Roche Harbor which was fun to see. The view, while on the water, looks to a bald mountain which is not too lovely. The house is in good condition and well stocked in the kitchen. The porch and deck need some TLC (paint and repair) but the inside of the house is great. The manager is very nice and very communicative.

Fantastic house in a great location

One of the best properties we've ever stayed in. The house was just as described, located in a fantastic spot. We spent our days on the deck or the lawn, admiring the water with Spieden Island in the distance. Meals were always at the outside table, next to the spotless BBQ.The kitchen was very well equipped with the essentials for cooking, a good set of pots, and scads of dishes and glasses. And, in a first for me, the knives were sharp!Highly recommended, but don't take our week! We'll be there again soon.

You cannot go wrong!

Beautiful location for a family vacation! Home had a beautiful view, right on the water - lots of wildlife sightings. Great place to recharge, well appointed kitchen and easy access to Roche Harbor. Enjoyed exploring the many wonderful trails. Highly recommend.

Lovely retreat

Such a lovely spot for relaxation and beautiful views. The host was wonderful with excellent communication. The home was spacious, had a well stocked kitchen (which I loved) and has a spacious deck to really take in the fresh air and water views. We enjoyed walks to Roche Harbor and exploring the island and all it's beautiful attractions.

Wonderful Escape

Beautiful property in a great location. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the otters in the water. We even saw whales from the dock one morning. The property was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Would definitely stay again!

House was great, view was outstanding,

Everything about the home was great, except the tv operation was a bit challenging, but we weren’t going to watch much tv anyway, so no big deal. The water view & setting was awesome. Our only issue was the condition of a portion of the road leading to the house. Watch out for the potholes, as that can be a definite challenge

Perfect Family Getaway in Roche Harbor

We stayed at this beautiful home from April 3–6 and had an incredible time. The property is tucked away in a peaceful part of Roche Harbor, but still close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The house was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything our family needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.From the cozy living spaces to the fully equipped kitchen, we felt right at home. The views were stunning, especially in the early mornings and at sunset. We loved walking on the dock while watching the seals greet us, it was like something out of a postcard.Roche Harbor is such a charming area, and this home made our trip to San Juan Island truly memorable. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly escape.

Beautiful San Juan Waterfront

We loved this home. The check in/outProcess was simple, the views were gorgeous, and the home is comfortable and wellEquipped. The kitchen had everything you need to cook, while taking in the beautiful San Juan scenery. This home is super close to Roche Harbor-about a five minute drive. It is a quick 15 mn drive into Friday Harbor. We enjoyed exploring both! We would definitelyRent this home again.

Thanksgiving Stay

3rd Thanksgiving in Friday Harbor and first stay at this property. The house was great! Plenty of room and very comfortable. The view was fantastic and the private dock was perfect. Very peaceful sitting out on the dock and enjoying our morning coffee.

Wonderful Retreat

The house is on a forested bluff overlooking a beautiful cove. It has amazing views of the sea, including Speiden Island. Below the house, after a short path, there is a well constructed dock, a perfect place to go swimming or launch a dinghy, kayak, or paddleboard. The house is very quiet and private yet just a short and pleasant drive away from Roche Harbor resort. The house is tastefully furnished, immaculate, and well-equipped. The property is very well managed. All communications with the manager were pleasant, efficient, and professional.

Peaceful Getaway

Great spot for our family. Very private with great views of bay and island across channel. Minutes from Roche or Friday Harbors activities. Otters in bay were a bonus.

Secluded Getaway

This beautiful home was far enough away, but just close enough to Roche Harbor & Friday Harbor!! Wonderful dock where we paddle boarded from daily!! Very serene & cozy :)

Incredible family location

Absolutely beautiful home on bay. Incredible views and had a blast kayaking and crabbing from the dock. Home is open, spacious, airy, and most importantly felt like a home away from home! Will definitely return.

Really nice

The place was clean and worked well for our family. The owner was very helpful with the reservations and making sure we made our ferry reservations on time. This was our first visit to Friday Harbor and we would stay at this place again.

Quiet retreat in paradise

What a place to call home for a week! We enjoyed every adventure and each quiet moment our family shared on San Juan Island. The home felt like a breath of fresh air the moment we walked in and never disappointed each time we sat out on the deck. We liked being away from the main harbor yet close enough to participate in every activity we desired. The San Juans are a special place and we feel lucky to have been able to enjoy our time on the islands. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope to return again some day soon!

Magical property!

Enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful property. Beautiful views and waterfront access. Feels secluded, yet quick access to Roche Harbor and an easy drive to Friday Harbor. Well-appointed kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Communication with property manager/owner was great. Would definitely return!
