Welcome to your serene escape on Neil Bay, where nature meets comfort. This pet-friendly waterfront property offers exclusive access to a private mooring buoy for your larger boat, plus a dock perfect for tying up dinghies and kayaks. Please note: access to the home is via a steep staircase.
Inside, the expansive great room features floor-to-ceiling windows framing breathtaking views of Spieden Channel. Watch wildlife roam freely and marvel at Spieden Island across the water-a mysterious, uninhabited 550-acre haven known for its exotic tales and sightings of non-native animals, including Corsican big horn sheep and Asian Fallow deer. These creatures have peacefully grazed here, untouched by hunting for over two decades.
Step out onto the spacious deck with ample seating to soak in the natural beauty. The open-concept living area includes a modern kitchen with bar seating, a dining space, and cozy lounge with a propane fireplace and smart TV. Kitchen amenities include a waffle maker, toaster, and popcorn machine. Outdoor cooking is a breeze with a propane BBQ and crab cooker, and yard games like cornhole add to the fun.
Stay connected with high-speed broadband internet. Electric vehicle owners are welcome to use the 14-50 outlet (bring your own connector).

The house was wonderful in every aspect and was perfect for six of us. I have stayed in many VRBOs, and this was definitely a 10 out of 10. Communication with our host was excellent, the amenities were as described, the location near Roche Harbor was convenient, the view beautiful! I hope to return one day!

Beautiful views in a quiet setting

The property was perfect for our family with plenty of space and nicely appointed. It was nice to have access to the dock for a beautiful water view. We’d love to come back some day.

Secluded Getaway

This beautiful home was far enough away, but just close enough to Roche Harbor & Friday Harbor!! Wonderful dock where we paddle boarded from daily!! Very serene & cozy :)

Thanksgiving Stay

3rd Thanksgiving in Friday Harbor and first stay at this property. The house was great! Plenty of room and very comfortable. The view was fantastic and the private dock was perfect. Very peaceful sitting out on the dock and enjoying our morning coffee.

Really nice

The place was clean and worked well for our family. The owner was very helpful with the reservations and making sure we made our ferry reservations on time. This was our first visit to Friday Harbor and we would stay at this place again.

Amazing Island Retreat

We had a wonderful time at Karen's cabin! Everything was as described. Amazing location! Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Check in/out and communication was a breeze. Would highly recommend and not hesitate to stay here again!

We had a great stay for Thanksgiving! The view was beautiful and the house was really comfortable. Internet was much better than we expected- no problems working remotely. Can't wait to return in the summer!

Lovely House

This is everything go be could ask for, for a quiet lodging with water views. From the house or dock we says otters and seals, many waterfowl and across the bay herds of fallow deer. San Juan is a wonderful island to explore and this was a nice place for home base.

Beautiful home on the waterfront.

This home was well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The view was amazing. Great area for walking. Close to Roche Harbor. It was fun to hear the flag ceremony at Roche Harbor nightly. Great stay, we will return again some day.

Being the only boater renter of this property I had to do battle with the resident otter leavings on the stair landing every morning, other than that it was good.

Superb location

Our family from Australia thoroughly enjoyed this home. Karen was very much engaged and responsive if needed. The mooring ball and dock were bonuses. Views, walks and nice quiet surroundings were all amazing. We’ll be back!

Beautiful house in an amazing location, peaceful, super clean. Would choose this location again. IF you need to unplug and be with peace and the smell of evergreen and the sound of songbirds and water fowl this is the place to go.

Fantastic place!

We had a great time staying at this home. It was exactly as advertised, even better, honestly. Clean, quiet, with incredible water views and access, and an awesome deck to hang out on and relax. We liked that the location felt private and secluded but we could walk to Roche Harbor and the sculpture garden (well worth the visit!). Karen, the host, was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I highly recommend this home - it is the perfect set up for enjoying everything San Juan Island has to offer!

Clean and comfortable house with Amazing view!

Love this dog-friendly waterfront property! Very clean and comfortable. View is amazing! It’s exactly like what listing shows and describes. Perfect for groups. The loft room is a bit lack of privacy but we love the view. The owner Karen is very responsive. Highly recommend!

Nice experience except for unloading and reloading the boat. Too many and too steep stairs and ramp. It would be nice if some kind of mechanical platform assist were available.

View of the water was fabulous and setting was very tranquil. The living room/kitchen/dining was open and a wonderful place to gather. The kitchen is well stocked, but need a few more wine glasses. The fireplace had a pretty minimal flame and we had difficulty operating the tv. Karen was very responsive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.
