Such a great get away for two. Quick walk to so many shops, places to eat, and just steps from the pier. Definitely want to plan another trip back!

We had the best weekend in this cozy little cottage. It's an end unit and a GREAT location... Lots of room outside to set up chairs and watch the sunset. It has all the amenities you could want. Booking was easy and communication was outstanding. Can't wait to go back!

Perfect home base for a weekend in Capitola Village, right on the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants and more. The rooms were clean and we had good communication with the host.

Comfy little get-away

This was a really fun experience. This is a super cute property, centrally located in one of the most charming areas in Santa Cruz County. It is walking distance to the Esplanade and the iconic Shadowbrook, Margaritaville and Zelda's restaurants. Capitola Village is a safe clean area. There are fun shops and, obviously, all of the beach activities. It's a great place to vacation.Here are some things to take into consideration so that you set expectations accurately and thoroughly enjoy your experience: Parking in and around the village is notoriously bad, especially on weekends. No fault of the property, just a known aspect of Capitola Village. Plan accordingly. We Ubered in and out to avoid having to figure out parking.This is a very old property that has been meticulously and lovingly maintained, but it is still old and quirky. Low ceilings (if you are over 6' tall, beware), funky, but fun floor plan, tight spaces. The bathroom is very small and very nice. If you're tall, you might have to duck when you get in to the shower or you'll bonk your head.You are right on a public beach and the public beachgoers can be a bit boundaryless, so you might have to be a little assertive with some of them. I had someone occupy our outdoor furniture and had to tell them to move along. They did, no big deal, but the beachgoer traffic in front of the cottage is a thing to be aware and tolerant of. Overall, a great, fun, charming experience that I will do again. Loved it.
