With this listing you are offered the unique opportunity to rent two separate dwellings just steps from each other. Welcome to Cloverfield! Our guests will immediately be immersed in the quiet sanctuary of their own pine-lined private drive. The cottage & barn just had a full remodel in 2019 so you are stepping into a brand new oasis! Your private treelined driveway alongside sprawling horse corrals leads you directly to the cottage and barn with plenty of parking for everyone. The quaint cottage and barn offers privacy for all your guests in a quiet country setting. The Cottage is a cozy 3bed/2bath and the Barn is an oversized 1bed/1bath. You are welcome to a relaxing stroll through several acres of woods and gardens. We are in the heart of horse and golf country with plenty of fun just a few miles away. The gorgeous property is centrally located just 3 Miles from downtown Southern Pines and 6 Miles from downtown Pinehurst. Within 10 minutes are numerous public parks, splashpads, miles of walking and biking trails, dozens of playgrounds, frisbee golf, tennis and basketball courts open and lit until midnight during the summer months. Your entire family will find something exciting for everyone of all ages. Be sure to stay Friday nights so you won’t miss free movie nights in the park, taco trucks at Southern Pines brewery, or live music at the downtown amphitheater. The Cottage & Barn may be rented by the week or month fully furnished. All utilities are included in the pricing. Cloverfield is a B&B Home by definition but we prefer to think of ourselves as a retreat for our family and yours. We do live on the property but we will not bother you, you probably won't ever see us unless we are all out and about at the same time. You have the privacy and seclusion of your own driveway, front yard and space around your rentals. We do allow pets, please discuss with Lauren before booking. And while we are not a Venue by definition, we do occasionally allow events to be held at the Cloverfield property. If you would like more information about renting out the entire property for your event please contact Lauren to discuss. We look forward to hosting you!

We took on our dream property in 2018 and took a year to make it into the beautiful retreat you will be visiting soon.

This is certainly a golfers paradise throughout the year, with over 50 courses open
annually, including Pinehurst No. 2, the home of the US Open, only 10 minutes away or Mid
Pines, Pine Needles, and St. Joseph's clubhouses sitting a mere mile and a half down the road. For the horse enthusiast our local home of Champions and dozens of other Equestrian facilities (including a few ponies just across from your front porch) can all be visited easily within 10 minutes when they aren’t off galloping around the country.

Cloverfield started as a pipe dream in 2018 when the Cramer Family found this hidden gem. The 1900s farmhouse and guest cottages had been completely abandoned for over 10 years when the Cramers saw the property and immediately fell in love with it. Everyone told them they were crazy, but they knew they could restore the property and bring the beautiful property back from the brink. They took a little over a year to work on it, day in and day out. But with a lot of hard work, determination and a few of Lauren's tears they did it! Cloverfield started welcoming guests in 2019 to stay in the Guest Cottage (3bed/2bath) and Guest Barn (1bed/1bath). We are a Bed & Breakfast House with openings for you to enjoy our 6 acre private retreat either in the Cottage or Barn. We have a total of 4 rooms open for you to use as you wish. While we are not a venue by definition, we do occasionally offer private events to be held at our B&B home. You would be able to rent out the entire property with it's accommodations for your special event. Please message us directly to check pricing and availability.

The 6 acres provides you and your guests with a beautiful ceremony site, reception site, The Guest Cottage, The Guest Barn, storage/vendor set up in The Ranch House and the privacy and exclusivity of the grounds to enjoy as you wish.
