This mid-century gem in Hazel Dell is a cozy and inviting retreat, with its quirky retro charm, this isnât just a place to stayâitâs an experience. From its unique decor to its nostalgic feel, this home is perfect for anyone who appreciates a little personality in their getaway. The lush backyard is home to a variety of local wildlife, including deer, foxes, rabbits, and an array of birds. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, you might just catch a glimpse!
This home has held many fond family memories, I hope you can enjoy it with your family and friends as well.

Be mindful this house is on a busy street and visibility may be limited when exiting the driveway, so please use caution when pulling out.
Just a short walk to local amenities and a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Vancouverâs waterfront restaurants, bars, and shops. Portland is only 10-15 minutes away, and PDX Airport is a quick 20-25 minute drive. Enjoy the best of both worldsâcity convenience in the front for convenience and a tranquil retreat with lush gardens and fruit trees in the back for relaxation.
There are signs posted along multiple fence lines restricting guest access to the acreage behind the house including the barn and other smaller sheds. We kindly ask that guests do not disturb these areas as they are preserved for the owner and the wildlife living among the land.
This well-preserved 1960s ranch-style brick home is full of charm and character, originally built as the final addition to the homestead by the original farmer. Nestled between a fruit orchard and a lush natural backdrop, it feels like a hidden gem among the neighboring properties.
The warm wood floors and eclectic furniture create a welcoming atmosphere, with each bedroom thoughtfully designed with plush bedding, soft lighting, and vintage details for a restful stay.
The second bathroom is split into a separate shower and separate toilet (space is limited) in the laundry / mud room so be mindful that the main bathroom in between the bedrooms is shared.
Outside, the backyard is a seasonal delight, transforming into a vibrant oasis when the flowers are in bloom. Depending on the time of year, you might even find fresh fruit ready for picking.
Convenient transportation options are readily available. A nearby bus station provides easy access to public transit, while third-party transportation services offer additional flexibility. For those driving, the property is well-situated with easy access to main roads, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
The fireplace in the living room and the wood stove in the basement are unusable. Please refrain from attempting to use them as they are safety hazards due to being so old and are not regularly maintained.
This house is monitored by multiple exterior security cameras due to its location on a busy road across from multiple businesses and also to monitor the wildlife that is on the private property acreage behind the house. We also have decibel monitors throughout the house to ensure its *peaceful vibe* is upheld for neighboring folks during quiet hours 10PM-7AM.
For security, two cameras are installed on the exterior of the property facing the entry door, and driveway. An additional camera is located on the exterior of the barn, situated further out on the acreage. The barn is clearly marked and not accessible to guests.
Due to the wildlife that also share the luscious backyard acreage, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home for their safety.
