Give your car a holiday too - 5 minute walk to all you need. Main Street Pialba

I was an Airbnb superhost in Lithgow the past 7 years, "Serendipity Lithgow"- where I loved taking guests out on mini adventures.

Now we are "Serendipity-by-the-sea" - located on Main Street we are less than a 5 minute walk to the following amenities and attractions: Pialba shopping centre (there are 3 shopping centres). Library. Gallery. PCYC. Pump track. Awesome water park. Pickle ball courts. Professional medical suites (next door), Bunnings, 3 x 24 hour gyms, major eatery complex, Pialba RSL, a petrol station, cafes (opposite),e-scooter hire, an ATM (opposite).

The waterfront area of Hervey Bay boasts kilometres of al-fresco dining outlets and an endless array of cuisine styles. There is no shortage of free parking anywhere you choose to visit.

Pialba is the CBD area of the Hervey Bay region. All photos I have listed depict features located within 1km of our location. Pialba is home to almost every retail outlet you could ever think of plus a theatre, escape room, cinemas, several gyms, fishing tackle specialist shops, and too many fast food and dining options to list.

Transport: The local terrain is quite flat and the best way to get around is using an e-scooter. "Scooter House" which hires purple e-scooters is almost directly opposite. There are tens of kilometres of bike trails to scooter/bike/jog, much of which is waterfront or passes through parkland. We have an extensive taxi fleet and Uber etc. A bus stop is metres away.
Please note that access to visit Fraser Island is ONLY via the town of River Heads -given the importance of having local tide and 4wdrive information for the island, I strongly recommend doing a guided tour.

Weather here: can be a bit humid Dec-Jan, tends to have short showers often so bring an umbrella. It is highly unlikely you would ever require a jumper. No mosquitos or bities here but other waterfront suburbs have midges. There is usually a nice sea breeze.

Markets: there are several local markets and unlike many, our local markets feature locally hand made gifts, crafts and delicious home made treats.

Health: there is a large modern hospital located less than 10 minutes drive. Other health services are plentiful: massages, medical centres, Osteos, you name it.

A couple of house rules:
Smoking: is NOT permitted on site at all, inside or outside.
Pets: not permitted sorry
Age: no guests permitted who are under the age of 12 - that includes babies, toddlers. Undeclared guests will result in no access and no refund.

This is a residential complex with tenants and owners living here. Guests need to be well behaved and considerate of there being shiftworkers sleeping and children nearby also.
