This beautifully appointed three-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage accommodates up to six guests and is fully wheelchair accessible, making it an inclusive haven for families and friends. Centrally located within the resort, Osprey Cottage is just a short stroll along a paved path to the communal fire pit, sandy beach, and dock area, ensuring easy access to the resort's best amenities.
Step inside and feel immediately at home in the open concept living, dining, and kitchen area. The kitchen offers a spacious layout with a double sink, compact oven and stove, and a full-sized refrigerator, making meal preparation a breeze. Gather around the dining table that seats six comfortably or relax in the living room on the cozy sectional sofa in front of the flat-screen TV. A wood-burning stove adds warmth and ambiance, making this cottage inviting year-round. Sliding doors lead to a three-season screened-in porch, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, an afternoon of reading, or the soothing sounds of a rainy day.
Osprey Cottage’s outdoor spaces offer their own unique allure. To the rear, a private deck and barbecue area overlook the peaceful wetlands, creating a perfect backdrop for al fresco dining or evening conversations. As night falls, gather around your private fire pit to roast marshmallows under the stars. With its thoughtful design, central location, and tranquil surroundings, Osprey Cottage is the ideal getaway for those seeking both comfort and adventure.

Since the dock is shared, guests are not permitted to dock boats there
Waterfront
Entry to the water is off the beach or dock, with shallow walk in entry from the sandy beach, or jump in (feet first only - no diving) from the dock. The sandy beach is cleared of weeds annually. The dock area has weed growth. The large sandy beach and swim area is great for children and non-swimmers. There are some weeds, but it’s generally good for swimming.

Bobcaygeon Wilderness Park: This 8-acre lot of mature forest is open to hiking, cycling, cross country skiing, and nature interpretation, with trails that are built to best-practice standards and accessible to all, including those who are physically challenged. (25 mins)
Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park: Kawartha Highlands Signature Site is the largest park in southern Ontario after Algonquin Provincial Park, and offers backcountry canoeing, camping, and hiking in any season.(10 mins)
Winter Activities: Ice fishing is available on the lake (bring your own equipment), and cross-country ski trails are available at the Kawartha Nordic Ski Club (25 mins).
Herb Guy’s Honey House: This operation maintains 100 colonies of bees in yards throughout the Kawarthas. Come sample the varieties depending on the season…basswood-blueweed; thistle; clover; goldenrod and asters are just a few, along with creamed, chunk honey and honeycomb. Tours welcome by appointment.
