Relaxing and comfortable

The house has amazing views of Pikes Peak. The catamount trails near the home are amazing! We loved woodland park and manitou springs! Plenty to do within 30-45 minutes, and a very comfy bed to rest your head after hiking!! The balcony and hot tub were the perfect hangouts for our family!

Worth a Peak!!!

First and foremost, the view of Pike’s Peak was fantastic. From cloudy afternoons to sunrise mornings, and sunset…really enjoyed the view of the mountain. The view itself made the stay worthwhile. As for “wildlife,” we enjoyed a doe grazing daily, and one afternoon caught a glimpse of her fawn. Another morning a momma chipmunk had her tiny baby running along the rocks next to the driveway, and on our last evening - a huge fat wild turkey strutted along the perimeter of the property. This is a nice older home, cared for, and well tended. We cooked several meals and appreciated the accessibility to a purposefully stocked pantry of cooking utensils, pots, pans, spices, etc. The master bedroom was set with nice linens and sleeping was very comfortable. The master bath, too, was well stocked with good towels, and basics as needed. My husband and I both agreed an improved/upgraded shower head would be nice - but what is provided took care of business. The location is very accessible to Woodland Park, as well as about 40-45 min to Colorado Springs. The home is in a more rural area, and very peaceful as well as quiet.
