This is a showplace unlike any other!
The breathtaking views and Spanish Hacienda architecture make this one of a kind. Long driveway ensures complete privacy, and virtually no road noise. Exterior security cams provide utmost safety, and every luxury that one would expect in a five star resort: pool (can be heated for an extra charge), spa (heated), gourmet kitchen, sumptuous living room & den, and the VIEW!
5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. 8 person maximum overnight guests. No visitors allowed. Rooms are grand-sized, and comfortable. Owner keeps his personal belongings in the casita next to the estate.
Only minutes from the The village center of Rancho Santa Fe.
We offer smartlock for the front door (smartphone will lock & unlock). House key also available.

Everything about the house was wonderful. It was the perfect setting for our family gathering. Owner/manager made the check in process easy. The views are spectacular and the house was excellent.

Perfect!

My company entertained a couple business guests at this location while also golfing some of the great courses in the area. The house was first class. We enjoyed all amenities offered and the owner was very responsive! Will do again!!

Great Stay; Wonderful Location

Located about a mile and a half from downtown Rancho Santa Fe, our family had a wonderful time here! The home has plenty of room for a large family and our two kids loved having their own rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Dad rented a road bike in nearby Encinitas and enjoyed the California hills. The kids loved the pool, and the wife loved walking the neighborhood and the sunshine. We stayed for two weeks and discovered an amazing Sunday morning Farm's Market nearby and, later, a skateboard pump track about 10 minutes away which my son spent 16 hours at over three days. The home is only 12-14 minute drive to Encinitas with some of the best restaurants, coffee, and tacos around. Our favorite spot was Thyme right in downtown Rancho Santa Fe (by downtown we are talking two stop signs). Amazing coffee and breakfast spot with pie like your grandma makes. Truly amazing. Mark was an incredible host -- make check in and check out a breezy and after a quick trip to the grocery store we were settled right in. Wonderful views from the back and Rancho Santa Fe is like a little piece of Napa mixed with Santa Barbara in Southern California. Amongst the 10+ MM homes are horse farms, orchards and small shops. When you just want to nest, Uber Eats delivers and you can pretty much get anything you need within a 5-10 minute drive. Highly recommend this place, this host, and the area. Really a cyclists dream location and among the best places we've stayed. Worth it!

We’ve stayed at homes around the world and this is one of the best. The host sent videos explaining various aspects and amenities, which was very helpful. We found everything clean and in working order, and watched tv as we grilled and swam and hot tubbed. We were in town for horses at Del Mar - ideal location. Golf at nearby LaCosta and enjoy perfect weather of sunny southern CA. Highly recommend

Girls Weekend Get Away! This place was perfect for us 8 ladies. We just wanted somewhere clean and warm, with a pool. This place was so perfect. Close to restaurants, about 40 mins from SD airport, privacy and a killer view. Mark was so helpful and incredibly available for any questions we had or needs we requested

Absolute Perfection

We enjoyed a vacation at Mark’s beautiful dream house. It is truly the nicest place I’ve ever stayed! It was so clean, comfortable and spacious. The views are incredible. You just want to sit with coffee and look out the window or better yet sit outside & take it all in. So tranquil. Everything you can think of is there. We loved cooking in the state of the art kitchen. We appreciated the high quality & craftsmanship in this outstanding home. We were always noticing new details that delighted us!The hot tub was a favorite spot. Mark is always in easy reach even on Christmas Day but since we didn’t have any issues with house we didn’t need to contact him. The landscaping & grounds are beautiful and it’s set back from the road for maximum privacy & peacefulness.10/10 highly recommended

Stellar Property and Location

4 couples shared the house for a long wedding weekend that was just minutes from the property. Inside was spacious and beautiful and the outdoor pool area was the favorite. We were there hours sharing the view, the friendship, and the sunsets. Host was 5 stars!

A Slice of Paradise

What a beautiful home both inside and outside. Inside there were several comfortable sitting areas which included a TV room, a quiet room for reading, and a delightful sun room. We loved having 2 master suites for the 2 couples and nearby bedrooms for the children. The “outdoor living room” near the swimming provided additional space for conversations while watching the twinkle of lights in the distance. Truly magical! The kitchen was spacious and well appointed. We had everything we needed for cooking at home when we wanted to relax instead of going out. Mark was amazing and responded quickly to every question we had. I look forward to returning in the summer when we can enjoy the swimming pool. Also, great idea having a beverage refrigerator outside.

Outstanding stay!

While I am always leery about renting a home online as I have had bad experiences before, this one was a home run! From the location to to the quality of the home, everything exceeded my expectations. We had 4 couples for the stay and the bedrooms all had ample separation for maximum privacy. The owner was very accommodating and very responsive via text with any questions we may have had. The home is located on a premier street in Rancho Santa Fe close to the center of town and the best part were the views that went on forever including both sunrises and sunsets. When we are back in the area, I hope this home will be available for another visit.

Beautiful property with tons of space!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property with friends. The kitchen was fantastic for cooking and the two Master Suites are especially nice! The outdoor area with the hot tub was a big plus, and the large pool was clean and refreshing (though not very warm.) We appreciated the quick and easy communication with the host, and the beautiful surroundings of the area!

A family stay for a nearby wedding

This house is even nicer than the listing! My brother got married this past weekend and we needed a location to hold our family near the wedding location. Not only was this super close to the Secret Garden, it was perfect place to hang out and keep everyone happy. My niece and nephew swam every day if not more than once and my dad had a quiet room to be able to nap even with us all there laughing and telling stories. The kitchen was huge witch made cooking meals for all 10 of us super easy. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. If ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here again!
