Ottawa Westboro

House was very clean, quiet neighborhood, close to amenities. Owner wes super friendly we enjoyed our stay and we recommend it.

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood. Worked out perfectly for my young family. The park directly across the street was frequently visited, it has a splash pad, swings, and play structure. The house is also very close to Westboro Beach, took us less than 10 min to walk there. Westboro neighborhood also has lots of restaurant and shops that are walking distance. Really didn't need a car for most of our stay. It was a hot summer week during out stay and the air condition worked flawlessly, kept the house nice temperature, The only drawback was we found the beds quite uncomfortable which is the reason for 4* rating.

The house is situated in an excellent location with access to restaurants and shopping in Westboro and close to golf courses (Royal Ottawa and Rivermead), and a cute beach access nearby. The home is very clearn, well equipped with everything you'd need. There is a full kitchen, dining area and living space on the main floor, and then 3 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Also convenient parking in the driveway. For anyone who struggles with stairs, just know the only washroom is upstairs. Also, there is a porch with 5 steps leading in. The host was very responsive until our last day...when one of the people in our party fell down the porch steps because the handrail was unusable due to overgrown trees. She broke her ankle and is awaiting surgery. We had to move into a hotel for the last night as a result. We asked for a refund for the last night due to this incident and received no response...and still have not heard anything from the host. A very unfortunate incident that could have been avoided had the proper safety measures been in place.
