Friends trip

We had a great stay! The property was super clean and the beds were insanely comfortable!! We had an issue with the kitchen sink not draining and being clogged, the manager was super easy to get in contact with and worked with us to get it fixed. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun Girls Weekend Stay

We enjoyed the property for our short girls' weekend. Every bed was so comfortable with ample bathrooms for the 8 women on the trip. The kitchen and dining rooms were perfect for cooking for our large group and eating together. Brian was a great host and communicated with us to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Perfect home for multiple families to enjoy

We’ve rented this home three years in a row and it’s perfect for all the cousins to get together at. Brian has upgraded all the room furniture with king beds and added other nice features. In addition, lots of hiking and the owners club is great to go play at. Highly recommend!

Spring Getaway

This was our third visit to this beautiful home and again we could not have been more pleased. The layout of the house is perfect for our family. 5 couple 5 beds 5 baths. Just what we needed! Main table held us all for meals, games and socializing. Nice views and great location. The video game machine and foosball table is a nice touch, not to mention the hot tub on a cool evening. Highly recommend.

The property provided the amenities our group of 11 needed. Ample beds and baths. Nice master bath. Hot tub was relaxing. Kids enjoyed fussball. No high chairs or pack n plays so you will need your own if traveling with infants. Well equipped kitchen.

Great long, winter weekend.

We had a larger group and rented The Gleneagle and The Overlook at the same time because they are right next door to each other. Brian and Johnny were great hosts that were very responsive and the property was everything we needed and more. We highly recommending renting both of these houses for large groups. The Overlook allowed dogs and was the quieter house of the two. The Gleneagle was more active and were we had all our meals. Thank you again!

Great space!

To cap off an extraordinary and, let's face it, stressful year, our family was looking for a low-key getaway to change up our surroundings and our attitude for a couple of days. This property was the perfect destination! It provided lovely, fun. and well-maintained amenities that we did not have access to at home and gave us all the space we needed to spread out when we wanted AND great spaces to come together for meals, games, and relaxing. Brian was very accommodating and professional and responded promptly to the couple minor questions we had on checking in. I would highly recommend this property to others and consider it for future getaways for my family.

From the historic downtown to skiing at Chestnut in the winter, there is truly something for everyone in this town. I live in Chicago with my partner and love our escapes to Galena when time permits. We own two other rentals -- one in the Territory and another in Delaware. We have 5+ years of experience in managing short-term/vacation rentals.
