The open-concept living room/kitchen provides plenty of room for the entire family to get together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to cook a full meal or a quick dinner for the family. 3 full baths to accommodate everyone. 2nd Bath upstairs has 2 separate showers to help move the kids along. Beach Access: Community dune walkover to the beach. Doesn't get any better! This immaculate home is equipped with wireless internet, a washer & dryer, a full kitchen, and a propane grill. Small dogs are welcome with pre-approval and a $100 per pet feebilled after booking.

Enjoyable Family Vacation

We loved the location, very close to the beach for walking! Also, not too far from the city life & seawall. It was very clean and nice. We appreciated having the wagon & beach toys to use. We highly recommend it.

Family beach getaway/ birthday

This is a beautiful property, excellent location with a short walk to the beach. They really thought of everything we needed (except beach towels). Decorated so cute! No one wanted to leave. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Galveston. Excellent experience!

Summer Vacay 2024

The house was perfect for our family. We loved the neighborhood and the easy walk to the beach. We would have liked to have had some sunshine, but we still made the best of our week!

Beatiful House

Our stay was great! The house is clean and beautifully decorated with a cute beach theme. It was an easy stroll to the beach (less than 5 minutes on the concrete) and is in a nice community. Thanks for hosting us.

Family Beach Vacation

The beach house was perfect for our family. There was a bunk house for the grandchildren and bedrooms large enough for each family. Loved the house decorating and the location was a short walk to the beach.There are beach toys and chairs in the garage, which we used. Our family would stay here again and I would highly recommend staying there.

Perfect property and location!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed their stay, and the property was just perfect - the house and the neighborhood! It felt very private and protected. The house is off the beach a little, but it has a direct and very easy, short walk to the beach… and we still had a nice view of the water and the peaceful, relaxing sounds of the ocean. We highly recommended this property… and would definitely like to stay here again!

Family Reunion Vacay

The property was beautiful. We stayed there to attend a family reunion being held nearby. Everything was orderly and the neighborhood was quiet which was great. It was very relaxing. My family enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful home

This house is in a nice community. Very peaceful. The house itself is beautiful and it’s in a great location. Not too far if you want to head over to Pleasure Pier or other activities around. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful beach house with great accomodations.

The property was very nice. Really, the only issue we have is that the refrigerator light was maybe going out, because it was either not working or it was flashing on and off. It was quite annoying.

Perfect weekend

We have nothing negative to say about this property. Clean, beautiful, all the amenities. There were eight of us - four couples - and we loved the spacious den and especially the front porch for just relaxing and visiting. The beach is just a short stroll away. Having the beach chairs available to us was a plus. I communicated with the property manager several times; he answered quickly each time and was very helpful. Just can’t recommend this property enough. Five stars! We’ll be back!

Amazing

This property was great! We had a little trouble with the check in email but the property managers were great and we were able to get access in no time at all. Everything was as its was advertise. All of us had such a great time being so close to the coast. The walk from the house to the beach was 5 min tops and was easy even with an infant in tote. The extra beach toys were such a plus for the kids. We would totally recommend this property for anyone looking for a great vacation spot. Thank you so much for the awesome experience.

Great location, information online is not 100% accurate.

The house was clean and in a great location. Overall the trip was great! However the information on VRBO was inaccurate. The bed count when I booked this location was this house sleeps 12 - it has now been changed to 10 which is more accurate. The extra beds were pull out couches. I had to ask where the extra beds are. Additionally per the house rules, the bunk beds are made for children and do not hold adults over a certain weight. This is not communicated in the rental description online. We did have 4 small adults sleep in the bunk beds comfortably but do not count on them being twin beds that any adult can sleep on. Other information to know. Parking is for 4 cars only. The beach chairs provided are in poor condition (bring your own). The boogie boards (4) were in great condition and so much fun! Bring your own trash bags, soap, toilet paper and paper towels as only one of each is provided. The refrigerator ice machine is unable to keep up with more than one or 2 drinks per day. Bring your own ice. We did have a great time at this location! It just helps to know what you are actually reserving.

Nice but needs some tweaking

The house is gorgeous and served it’s purpose. We check in and it’s hotter than Satan’s armpit outside, well it’s just as hot in the house. The thermostat was on 82 and not 1 ceiling fan was on in the house. It took all night for the house to cool. Several in our group had to go to stores and buy fans to put in the bedrooms because of the heat. The refrigerator took forever to cool anything. But it’s large and held our things. We got 4 cubes of ice out of the ice maker and it didn’t work again the rest of the time. One of the bedrooms downstairs was a mess. The clean bed linens were thrown on the bed. We had to make the bed. Also there was no fitted sheet for that bed. We had to get creative. All of these things are simple fixes. Trash cans outside were literally spilling over. July 4th was the same day as trash day. I get it. The flies were insane because of the trash. It was frustrating. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. We had a blast but for the amount of $$$ we spent on the rental we all forked out more for fans and bags of ice for our ice chests because the fridge wasn’t cooling. And we didn’t get our deposit back. Very frustrating situation. We left a bag of ice in the freezer. I’m guessing that’s why.

Galveston Rentals- This is the one

We have been staying in rentals in Galveston for almost 5 years with our small children. There are many rental groups out there, and we have been most pleased so far with Sandalfoot Properties. The home was very clean, it doesn’t smell (which is very important to us), they were highly responsive throughout, the home has everything you need, and most importantly they are accurate in their listing. We favor beachside and will definitely stay here again if it’s available.
