Fully renovated, spacious, relaxing, and quiet ground level home away from home. This charming Villa could be the perfect spot for a business person, family vacation, or the seasonal Winter Texan. Our 1,020 sq ft home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a large fully stocked kitchen. We are conveniently located mid town near restaurants / shopping and within the Valley International Country Club.

Our open layout allows for an overall pleasant and relaxing living environment. The french doors lead to a private front patio which provides an additional peaceful outdoor space. The Villa includes a work desk with a printer and free Wifi. Also, enjoy the use of a full size washer and dryer. Plus, our 65” Smart TV includes free Netflix, Samsung tv, spectrum tv, and local channels.

The Country Club amenities add additional perks to your stay. Enjoy the full size pool, hot tub, and gym. For the golfer, the 18 hole Champion course is available at very reasonable rates. Note well, the 9 hole Executive course is available at no charge.

Our Villa has proven to be a great fit for either long or short term stays. Our Guests have consistently given us extremely favorable feedback, especially on Cleanliness. In summary, our property is exceptionally clean, well appointed, pet free, and smoke free.

Super Spotless Villa

This villa was a pleasure to stay in. It looks just like the pictures and not a speck of dirt to be found. Our hosts, John and Alma, were fabulous to communicate with and the complimentary goody basket and supplies were much appreciated. Dishwasher was not stated in the listing so I knew there would not be one but I wish there was one. The villa is close to stores, restaurants and groceries. If you are making use of the villa it is perfect. If you are going to golf as we were not so much. The golf course, country club and gym are in a state of decay. The clubhouse pool and hot tub are clean however there is no shade to be found.

Home Sweet VRBO

We couldn't have chosen a better spot to call home while in Brownsville to conduct research at UTRGV. The three of us slept well in this quiet, very comfortable rental and ate well from the highly functional and well-appointed kitchen. The location meant shopping, errands, and local adventures were close by and easy to access. After a busy day in the field or working from the home office, we enjoyed walking the neighborhood or golf course. We were sad to leave, but have already reserved the home for a return visit. We can't wait.

Beautiful newly remodeled condo.

Very comfortable, well appointed, clean, updated condo. Closets were wonderful and laundry room was amazing. Living room with exposed brick wall and desk space was very well done. Beds and furniture were top notch. Golf course was in need of maintenance and was not what we expected. John was a great host and spent a good deal of time educating us about the area. Couldn't ask for a better host.

My wife (Alma) and I are both retired. Alma from Finance and myself from Manufacturing with many many years in Plant Management. Alma is originally from Indiana and I from western NY. We met at work, here in Brownsville, over 30 years ago and still live in the area. Today, we enjoy Hosting, traveling, a healthy lifestyle, and the occasional walk on the beach.

We bought our Villa in 2014 so our daughter could have her own space while attending the local University. She lived there for about 5 years until she married and moved out of state. We considered selling or even downsizing and moving in, but ultimately chose to start hosting in September of 2019. Our Villa is very special to us as we continue to be the Owners and Caretakers of the property.

What we love about the property starts with the single level construction and 2 parking spots right in front of the Villa. Furthermore, we love the interior open layout and the large kitchen, with granite countertops and a ton of cupboard space. Additionally, we love the private front patio that we outfitted with reclaimed wood furniture. Lastly, it is a very quiet and safe area... and did I mention the country club perks!!
