Charming! Private and cozy Nolin Lake cottage near Mammoth Cave National Park.

We would love to have you spend your vacation or weekend getaway in our welcoming lake house on amazing Nolin Lake. This seasonal lake view home boasts a fully furnished kitchen, beautiful hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms, and a gorgeous stone gas fireplace. Enjoy WIFI and streaming 200+ channels as well as hundreds of apps from your phone to the TV. There are lots of board games as well as a cozy space on the upstairs landing to read and relax.
Step outside to the covered wrap around porch with lots of seating and experience the peaceful scenic views and wildlife. There is a gas grill as well as an outside dining area that overlooks the serene water feature. Enjoy the firepit and the area just off the porch with tranquil overhead lighting.
Wax Marina is less than a mile away, offering boat rentals and a boat ramp to launch your watercraft. Be sure to visit the lakeside restaurant next to Wax Marina, with amazing views of the lake. There are also two stores less than a mile away with a wide range of supplies including groceries, gas, fishing tackle and boating supplies. Mammoth Cave National Park is just minutes away by utilizing the Green River Ferry route. Go horseback riding, zip lining, and see Dinosaur World less than 40 minutes away. Great Nolin Lake Stay

We have stayed here before and every time has been wonderful. Communication is great and the home is cozy, clean and comfortable. The covered deck is a great place to hang out after a day on the lake.

Quick getaway

Everything was as listed. Clean and comfortable quick trip with the family. Drive to Mammoth cave visitors center was longer than expected, but that's cause we didn't do our homework properly. It is about 50 minutes to the main mammoth cave entrance.

The house and surrounding area was perfect for a lake weekend. It was quaint and comfortable. Loved being surrounded by nature. Would stay here again and again.

Phenomenal stay!

We vacationed with our 3 adult children and this home made it extra nice. It was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The owners thought of everything and we lacked nothing. Absolutely wonderful week!

Cottage home

LAKE LIFE

This is our 2nd stay at this property it is wonderful. we have 2 other trips to this property at the lake this year. There is a small goldfish/frog pond, a fire pit and lighted sitting area outside, there is a fireplace, inside 1 1/2 bath, 2 br, hardwood floors, etc. nicely decorated, home away from home.

Kayaking getaway

We launched our kayaks from the dock one day and stayed on the lake all day Drove them to the golf cart path then carried them for a short distance but the dock made it super convenient We also swam from dock House was nice and clean and yard was great for sitting outside

Excellent

This house was exactly what we needed, relaxing, clean and in a nice area. We loved exploring Kentucky. Mammoth cave was amazing, we went canoing down the green river, we swam almost daily in the lake. Lake Nolin is beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the walk, it's not bad at all. Kentucky is a beautiful state and we'll definitely be back. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The Amish community was a pleasant surprise!

Exceptional!!

Our stay was beyond exceptional. The property owner, Jason was so incredibly kind and accommodating. He provided us a very detailed overview of the property, how to get to the lake and things to do in the area. The property was clean and inviting and we had the best time. Our kids had a blast fishing and swimming off the dock, which was secluded and the perfect little relaxation spot. I cannot recommend this property enough! If I could give 10 stars I would! Can’t wait to return!

Cozy Lakeside Home

The property was pristine and just as described. The information included was extremely detailed and helped us prepare for our relaxing stay. A short walk down the road takes you to a stunning lake and huge dock where we were able to swim and fish. It took us about an hour to get to Mammoth Caves- we didn’t get to experience the ferry because the water levels were low. Be prepared to do a bit of driving because everything is spread out but it is beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Kentucky Lake Cabin

This cabin is so wonderfully perfect! Our family of 5 comfortably stayed here for 5 nights. The layout allowed us togetherness with multiple options to have quiet space. The deck seating by the frog pond was our favorite retreat. The lake is a little hike away from the house, but the reward is privacy. It reminded me of undeveloped lakes in Northern Minnesota, but the water was much warmer! The Dollar Tree nearby was helpful for last-minute items. We had a baseball tournament in Elizabethtown, and ultimately wished we had stayed closer as it ended up being a lot of driving on the twisting country roads. We hope to make a return trip with more time to explore the area!

Beautiful and cozy

We loved the home! It’s beautiful, cozy and quiet! Our stay was fantastic and we would definitely stay again! Our only suggestion is that the directions, even using the alternate directions, did not get us to the home. This could be because it was dark. We would suggest giving directions to Circle Drive rather than the large building. Once we found Circle Drive, we found the home easily.

Spring Break

We stayed here to go adventure Mammoth Cave a little bit of a drive but the Green River Ferry trip and the park itself were fun!! The property was very clean and a good kitchen as you are miles from a restaurant!!
