Kaldbakur-huset ligger på gården Nollur i ett unikt panoramaläge. Förstklassiga, naturliga material användes och huset är mycket rymligt. I det 60 m2 stora vardagsrummet har du en fantastisk utsikt över fjorden. Den heta potten på 6 m2 är helt täckt och möjliggör avkoppling i varmt vatten med utsikt över fjorden. Designerbadrummet är utrustat med en stor dusch, tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Det första sovrummet har fyra bäddar (en hyttesäng, en bäddsoffa), den andra en massiv trä dubbelsäng av valnöt. Alla rum har direkt utsikt över fjorden.

Wonderful house in the best location

We stayed for a week at Nollur and it was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect and the views are exceptional. The hot pot is amazing!

Repeat renters

This was our second stay at Kaldbakur. We love the location and the view! And we especially appreciate the design elements of this house. Mr Sietz is a fabulous architect/designer! We cooked all of our dinners at the house. The kitchen is sufficiently supplied but you need to bring all food items except for salt/pepper. The bed is very comfortable and the hot pot a real treat! We hope to come back again.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist wunderschön. Der Backofen war schmutzig. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war freundlich und unkompliziert. Unser Backofenproblem wurde schnell gelöst!Einziger Nachteil des Hauses ist ein sehr durchgelegenes Schlafsofa! Wir würden trotzdem immerwieder buchen!

Beautiful location & home!

Very quiet and remote, which is what we were looking for. Spectacular views from all the windows! Perfect for watching the Northern Lights. Grocery stores and restaurants were only 25 minute drive in good weather. Very comfortable beds. Spacious 2 bedroom accommodations to spread out. Good cooking facilities. All appliances worked well! Missed that there was no freezer and had purchased frozen food. Lovely hot tub overlooking the water. If there is snow, you do need to shovel a very large area.

Traumurlaub

Wir waren das zweite Mal im Winter in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und haben es erneut sehr genossen. Absolute Traumlage, saubere, gut ausgestattete, geräumige Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf den Fjord. Wer in Ruhe entspannen möchte ist dort richtig.

Einfach wunderschön

Das Haus ist einfach toll. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, der Blick auf den Fjord aus den vielen großen Fenstern ist traumhaft und man kann ihn auch aus dem Hot-Tub genießen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Great Snowy Stay

Excellent property and location. Wonderful views and close enough to town to get what you need, but far enough away you have peace and solitude. The views are incredible. House is very well furnished and comfortable.

Wunderbare Erholung

Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und haben den Ausblick auf den Fjord sehr genossen. Auch die totale Einsamkeit hat uns nicht gestört. Wir waren auf dem Gelände von Nollur die einzigen Mieter zu der Zeit. Herrlich!

Great Home, Fantastic View!

This home (Kaldbakur) and its location are remarkable. First, the setting: It’s on the Eyjafjörður Fjord and is very near the water with no structures in between. We had snow just before we arrived and the view was incredibly beautiful. The aurora arrived that first night (KP Index of 5) and it was amazing. This location is suitably dark (and beautiful) for aurora photography. So, if you don’t feel like trekking out into the darkness, you can a get nice aurora photos from your house (assuming the right camera and lens). Every morning, a herd of sleep walks between the home and the water to graze (usually away from the house). In the evening, they head back to wherever they spend the night. It’s quite fun to watch. Regarding how the hot pot (hot tub) works, it takes roughly two hours to fill. You fill it by turning a key in the kitchen pantry. It is large and deep so you do not need to wait for it to become completely full to get in (saves a little water, too). I’d guess the temperature is around 102-103 F. In other words, perfect for a soak. New hot water continues to feed into the hot pot, maintaining the temperature. It is surrounded by the house on three sides and is therefore protected from wind. After you get out, turn the key in the pantry and the hot pot drains. The house is nicely decorated in a modern style. Large windows bring the view into every room. It is a lovely place to spend time in. Would I recommend this rental? Absolutely!

Das Haus ist einfach nur der Hammer. Einfach 11 von 10 Punkten. Ausstattung ist super, alles sehr großzügig, direkt vor dem Haus parken. Am liebsten möchte ich direkt dort einziehen. Vielen Dank.

Traumhafte Auszeit am Eyjafjörður!

Diese Ferienwohnung ist einfach ein Traum! Die Lage mitten in der atemberaubenden Landschaft am Eyjafjörður ist unglaublich schön und das Haus selbst versprüht mit seinem modernen Charme eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Ein Highlight ist wie immer der Hot Pot, in dem man nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag wunderbar entspannen kann. Wir waren jetzt schon zum dritten Mal hier und sind jedes Mal wieder begeistert. Der Service ist top und auch wenn das Interieur etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, sieht man bei diesem Haus gerne darüber hinweg! Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung inmitten einer atemberaubenden Natur suchen!

Tolles Haus!

Wir haben uns in diesem schönen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Blick auf den Fjord ist traumhaft - selbst ein paar Delphine konnten wir beobachten. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Thomas und Annett, die uns bei unserem Reifen-Problem ganz toll geholfen haben - vielen Dank euch Beiden!
