Perfect SPI getaway!

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay with your family on South Padre Island - you just found it! I truly can not say enough about how wonderful this condo is and how great the hosts are to work with. We stayed for a week with our two teenage daughters and loved everything! The location is on the north end of the island - away from the congestion of the "downtown" area, and litterally steps away from the ocean. The condo is spotless clean, roomy and has everything you could think of to make it your home during your stay. Keypad entry gives you worry-free access - no need to keep track of keys when you are out and about. The condo has a blender, ice machine and small coolers for perfect beach time beverages! The beds are SO comfortable that I actually took pictures of the brand of sheets so I could buy some for home!! The hosts were amazing, great communication! A small grill on the deck allowed us to save money and cook a few meals in! I guess my only complaint would be that we had to leave!! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing space with us - we will be back!!

More than we expected

The unit is very spacious, nice and clean. The owners were very communicative before we arrived to assure that we could get right to the place on the island. I especially appreciated the check in procedures as easy and straight forward.

You can have food and drinks on the beachfront decks, dance to live music, play volleyball on the sand, and ride the banana boats all at Clayton’s Beach Bar. Bahia Mar Condominiums is also just 3/4 of a mile away from the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center and Alligator Sanctuary. Birders travel from around the world to cross once-in-a-lifetime birds off their bucket list. They come to see our rare and endangered local species like the brown pelican, peregrine falcon, and piping plover. The nature center and South Padre Island Convention Center are connected through a winding 3000 ft boardwalk through the marshlands. You can visit the famous Whaling Wall mural and butterfly gardens at the convention center before walking back to the nature center.
