Adorable Cottage close to Beaches and Town

Our sweet cottage has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The home has been newly updated and ready for your summer vacation. Our home has a large open sun room that looks over the spacious yard and brick patio. The kitchen has been fully remodeled and is fully stocked with everything you will need for your stay.

Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has one set of bunk beds, and one twin bed. The house has an open den with a twin daybed. The bathroom has been newly updated with a new shower.

The huge yard is perfect for family games and outdoor gatherings. Outdoor furniture, a patio set and a grill make for great evenings.

Madison is a picturesque New England beach town. You can walk to town to enjoy the shopping, restaurants or movie theater. There are three town beaches that require passes and Hammonassett State park is less than 2 miles away. Hammonasset Beach State Park is a public recreation area occupying two miles of beach front on Long Island Sound. It is the state's largest shoreline park and one of the most popular attractions in the state, drawing an estimated one million visitors annually. The beautiful Shoreline Greenway trail winds near the house and into the State park.

Great Hidden Gem in Madison

Wonderful stay at the cottage! We enjoyed the house and great big yard and patio the most. Perfect stay when visiting family and friends. Close to beach and town. We will be back.

Charming, Convenient and Super Clean!

What a great property! Floor plan offers flexibility and more room than you might expect. In addition to tasteful decor, the thoughtful host has clearly made an effort to anticipate your needs. Don't rule out because of only one bathroom, it is very spacious. We have stayed at many VRBO's over the years, this one was by far the most immaculate. Thanks so much - hope to stay again!

Excellent stay

Amazing place, we stayed here for just under a week and it was extremely pleasant and comfortable. We stayed with a baby and the kids room was perfect, the kitchen is well appointed and we grilled a few nights as well. Madison and the beach are super close but it has loads of space and privacy. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again.

Great location and friendly hosts!

The location was excellent. John and Kiersten were very responsive and went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The house is a short drive or easy bike ride away from the beach and town center. We would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful and comfortable vacation cottage

We couldn't have asked for more: John and Kristen's cottage is beautifully appointed, comfortable, super clean and beach-y. The property is lush and private, filled with birds and scampering bunnies. We loved grilling on the back patio and relaxing in the vaulted, sky-lit living room. It's close to Madison beaches and stores on Route 1 (and a quick ride to Lenny and Joe's), but feels totally secluded in the country. John and Kristen are very accommodating hosts, always quick to answer questions. In short, a lovely place for a beach vacation...

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay in Madison at this property. The hosts were friendly and responded right away to all our questions. The house was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. The location was great: close to the town, Hammonassett Beach, and Cohen's bagels. The property was also lovely and we would love to come back in the fall to enjoy chilly evenings with a firepit.

Great set up for our small family

We were visiting family in the area and were lucky enough to find this house last minute. It was a great set up for our small kids and allowed us to spread out for sleep/naps. Big yard for the kids to run as well. Instructions and communication were easy!
