The Space
The home has four bedrooms, each has its own TV, one of which is an extra-large master bedroom, and another had bunk beds that kids will absolutely love. The beds are comfortable and have fresh linens. There are two full bathrooms and one half-bath, with plenty of towels and paper products. The home sleeps up to 12 guests comfortably!

The house gets plenty of shade with the surrounding trees, there is a grass yard and chairs for sitting in the shade and watching the water. You have private access to the lake, where there is a dock which is ideal for launching a small boat, and a great place to fish. There is a deck with a grill for the grill master, with a table and chairs, and a sun umbrella to create shade.

The kitchen has a wrap-around granite countertop which provides a ton of space for those bigger and more complex meals, and is a great place to serve a buffet-style dinner. Included are appliances and the things you need to ensure the chef in the family will be satisfied. The dining room has a large table with a great view of the water, and there is also a breakfast area with a window to let in natural light.

The family room has a large, lovely leather couch, a large flat screen TV, a bar, and large windows. The entire house is beautifully decorated, with plenty of places to curl up with a good book or enjoy the company of your friends and family.

The Perfect Day
A morning cup of coffee or tea while walking around the property is an experience that absolutely cannot be missed! Then grab the fishing pole and try to catch a fish while they are doing their morning feeding, or you can cook up a delicious breakfast feast in the kitchen.

Then settle in for a day of relaxation, grab a good book or a board game and enjoy some peace and quiet out on the deck while enjoy the amazing views of the water, or you can put on a bathing suit and go for a dip!

For the golf enthusiasts, there are three courses within a 15-minute radius. Grab those clubs and test out your skills on these great Virginia golf courses! There are also several parks and nature reserves, perfect for those who want to do a little exploration and get some fresh air.
After a day of reading, fishing, relaxation, golfing and fun, you can take a short drive into town and grab a meal, or the grill master in the group can fire up the BBQ and cook up everyone’s favorite cutes of meat and roast some veggies.

Then set up the kids with a movie or a board game, or let them head to the bunk beds to get some sleep, so the adults are free to enjoy a lovely sunset conversation outside with a glass of their favorite beverage. You won’t want to miss the sunset, either, especially in the arms of a loved one!

The Neighborhood
Our home is located in a very quiet community on the shores of the private Kerry Lake. Peace, privacy, and seclusion with a great vista of Virginia’s waterfront natural beauty is juxtaposed with close access to everything you need to ensure your stay is an absolute pleasure.

Golfers can hit the links at the Newport News Golf Club, Kiln Creek Golf Club and Resort, or the Pines Golf Course, all of which are about 15 minutes away. The Hamptons Golf Course is a 20-minute drive away, as well.

Route 60 lies to the east and is only a few miles away from the property, the road runs north and south and will bring you to grocery stores, liquor stores, gas stations, great dining and bars, and more. Patrick Henry Mall is 10 minutes away, and the area has great shopping for those looking to pick up something for the family home, or a thank-you gift for a house/pet sitter.

The Deep Creek inlet is about 10 minutes away as well, and has several marinas and the Warwick Yacht & Country Club, perfect for those in your group who love boats or spending time by the water. There are also several museums for those who wish to learn about the local culture.
