Family and pet friendly suite 5 minute walk to the lake

This ground level suite is located in the Pandosy area of Kelowna. That means you are only 3 blocks from the lake, coffee shops, grocery store and just a 5 minute drive to downtown.
The suite has one bedroom and a huge kitchen and living area. There is enough room for 4 people with a queen bed in the bedroom and a fold out couch in the living room. Enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine in the fully fenced backyard perfect for kids and animals.
*please note - this is a 1 bedroom suite in our home. While you have the suite to yourself and a separate entrance, we are a family with kids and dogs and we live upstairs.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s home. We stayed as a family of 3, 2 adults and 1 teen. Our teen enjoyed the backyard basketball court. We all enjoyed the AC as it was very hot. The best part were the two yellow labs,, Tiger and Juneau!! Michelle is very friendly. We would recommend.

The hosts were easy to communicate with and pleasant. Property was as advertised and reasonably priced. The parking however was less than optimal. You cannot park on the property, you have to park across the street. Street parking fills quickly and you can end up parking down the block to get a spot.

Hubs and I loved our stay. Our doggo felt at home too. Our host was awesome and very welcoming. The bed was absolutely perfect. It was like a comfortable hug all night long. Nice area and it was nice to hear crickets. Our host was so awesome with having items around just in case you forgot something. She even thinks of the doggos and has a set of food and water dishes. We would love have her host us over and over again.

Great location and friendly hosts.

A comfortable and friendly family home. There is some noise from dogs and the host family but they take care to be quiet at night. A perfect place to stay for hospital visits/procedures.

Summer 2024

The location was great, and the hosts were easy to communicate with and provided any necessary supplies. The beds were comfortable enough. The washing machine worked well. The overall feel of the place was less opulent and inviting than the pictures implied. I felt less like staying in a nice fancy hotel, and more like staying in a slightly run down apartment suite. But overall our stay was pleasant.

We stayed here with our two kids and dog for two weeks this summer. It was an excellent stay! The suite was spacious and close to everything. The beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities that we needed. We especially appreciated having a washer/dryer to use and the kids/dog really enjoyed the large backyard and trampoline. Our host Michelle and her family were so nice, and made sure that we were good throughout our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Kelowna!

We had a very nice stay. My daughter was ill when we first arrived and the host,Michelle, was so gracious and kind to help her out. The dogs were super friendly, and a great back yard if you wanted to bring your own pets. It’s a nice quaint suite!

Wonderful quiet suite!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The suite is nice and cozy with a large yard out back where our dog could run and play. Our host communicated wonderfully with us as made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. We definitely plan on staying again in the future.

Just like home.

Very cozy home like setting. All the amenities needed. Hosts were friendly and accomodating. Bed was comfortable. Laundry was available which was helpful as we are camping across Canada. Would definitetly recommend.

Awesome stay!

We were very pleased with our accommodations for 5 nights. We were attending a dog show with our dog and the property was perfect - close to venue, clean, had all the things you would likely forget at home and very nice hosts and their lovely two dogs :) The back yard was totally fenced for our dog to wander freely. I would stay again.

Great Stay!

We came to Kelowna for appointments and the location of the home was excellent, within 5 minutes of Kelowna General as well as our other appointments. Check in was easy, rec’d a message letting us know we could checkin early if we wished to. When we arrived and went through the back gate to our rental we happened upon Katherine and her two very friendly canines. The back yard is surrounded by large mature trees and the fully fenced yard was a huge plus making bathroom trips for our 2 small dogs perfect. Note for people with small dogs not to leave your little ones unsupervised as the gate has a bit of a space and they could slip through) The rental space had all the amenities that we would require (note it does not have a stove but does have a dbl burner hot plate if one needed it). Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods and full size fridge & microwave. The bathroom has a full size stackable washer/dryer with laundry soap included, full roomy bathroom with basic soap, shampoo, & conditioner. The queen bed was super comfy! A really great stay and if in the area again would be my first look for a place to come back too! Thank you Katherine
