Spring Stay in Arizona

There were a few issues that came up within a few hours of our arrival. The host made attempts to resolve the issues, unfortunately the issues could not be fixed during our stay.

To leave a poor review for one small item that could not be fixed during your stay is really kind of silly but understandable. The thing that so many clients of this format forget is that they are saving thousands nightly (why the don’t stay in full service resort hotel) and it’s a house and things break.

Perfect house for our needs.

The house was great, had a pool and putting perfect for getting everyone together. We spent every day at the golf course but the house was perfect for our large group in the afternoon.

Yes, you rented a 2200 square foot private million dollar home for less nightly than a 200' resort hotel room in this area. Think your being extremely silly don't you think. Like having the budget for a Tesla 3 but expecting a Ferrari?

Amazing!

This property was beautiful and in a quiet location. There were plenty of rooms and beds! The backyard was the highlight!! Beautiful scenery and a lot of fun entertainment for my friends.

Perfect spot for a golf trip

The house was great! Had a large group (21 guys) together for a golf trip and this house had all you could ask for. Communication with Robin was extremely easy and quick. Highly recommend!

Great amenities very clean if I had knit pick more towels and especially wash clothes but since there was only a few of us we not really an issue ( but not complaining) great stay

It was super fun!

We had such an amazing time but there was minimal cooking utensils in the kitchen and several of the cutlery were dirty but the bedrooms were so luxurious and the outside was so boujee and wonderfully set up. The pool table is pretty destroyed but still had fun playing a round. The hot tub was used tons and was great for the evenings. Overall was a great stay!

Great family home

Great location with all the amenities you could need for all ages. Plenty of serving plates and utensils, but may need to invest in some baking sheets/bowls. Other than that everything was fabulous! Would definitely recommend for multiple families. Groundskeeper/repairman was also great and quickly repaired the door handle that was loose.

Everything was great. Hot tub was not functioning. We are a bunch of older guys playing softball and we choose places with hot tubs as the main consideration. I understand things break. Communication was ok but not phenomenal. Was told it would be ready Friday night when we returned from playing softball. It was not. So I called and received a text saying they would call later. They did not. I called the next morning and communication was good and prompt from then on. Everything else was as advertised. The refund for the hot tub payment was timely. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would.

So sorry about the hot tub. Unfortunately these thing do happen and totally out of our control. All we can do is save large groups thousands nightly compared to The Westin or JW Marriott. Room for friends

7 ladies and myself booked this VRBO, as a stay the night before a golf tournament. We specifically picked it because of the bed situation. Everyone was able to have their own bed and 5 of the 8 had their own room. That was very important. While our stay was less than 24 hrs, it was a good place to gather together. The back yard was inviting and the kitchen table seated all 8 of us. Although it was clean it does need some upgrades. The carpets are stained a little and the table has chipping on it. It was much older and smaller inside, than the pictures online look. All in all, it suited our needs, but not what I excpected from 1000 plus per night stay.

Well aware so many of our older female groups are on limited budgets. Very few could ever afford a 1.2 million for a house in this area. Probably 5% from what I have read. Your group of 12 rented out whole estate for less than a 400’ any resort hotel room in the area. Just wish you were smart enough to realize it. Much prefer renting to affluent golfers that get it, come back every year for a week at a time and always say thank you for saving them thousands nightly on their accommodations budget.

Great VRBO

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was kid friendly. Comfortable sleeping. 6 bedrooms was just right and that 3rd bathroom was so helpful. The pool and hot tub were warm. We paid extra for the security gate for the pool. We thought it would secure the pool, but it actually secludes the whole yard not just the pool. To use golf, bocci ball, pool table, foosball or hot tub, the pool is not gated off. The gate secures the patio but we could have dead-bolted the back door and it would have served basically the same purpose without paying extra for the gate. Maybe in your advertising, that could have been more clear. We loved our 4 day stay. Thank you.

Men's golf trip

A couple days before our arrival, I got an inexpected message from the owner. Basically saying the house won't be super clean, but offered to clean it for 200 extra. Also reiterated the fact that everything costs extra (to heat the pool, to turn on the hot tub, to have propane in the grill, for any extra person past 8 people). The owner was also rude in telling me that Scottsdale is expensive and that his house was nice and that it's cheap compared to nearby options. The house itself was just ok. It was pretty much as advertised and it had plenty of space to fit a group of 10. However, when we arrived it wasn't the cleanest (dirty socks near the pool). Overall, we'd rate the house as a 3 star property and the interaction with the owner 1 star. Make sure to read the fine print before booking.

Last minute booking

Booked this property last minute due to an issue with our original property. We were able to get in next day, a lifesaver for us! The property is near many amenities such as grocery, restaurants, etc. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of linens and beach towels are provided. I believe we were the first to use the brand new gas grill! The price per night relative to the number of people that can stay is very on par. The kitchen was equipped with basic supplies. We did find that some closets did not function great and some bedroom spaces are quite small but again, very much on par with the price. We had a few questions during our stay that were answered/addressed promptly. Lastly, we loved the grapefruit tree on the property...we had it for breakfast and the freshest cocktails! I hope this was ok to do! Thank you for having us!

I like where the house was that, but there was a lot of things I was wrong with it. I didn’t like that the refrigerator wasn’t really working. I didn’t really like how the Internet goes off at 10 o’clock. There wasn’t enough trash bags. Nor enough towels, and paper towels pods to wash clothes. and there wasn’t enough toilet paper. There wasn’t no dust pan. What is the sweep up the trash

It is truly difficult dealing with people that come to Arizona off season when it’s 120* out for a super cheap vacation that can not comprehend that The Westin / JW Marriott in this area are still $400 a night for a 200’ hotel room with no kitchen, private pool, spa or bbq. For your family of 12 we gave you something 15 times bigger for $142/night and you complain that you had to spend the $20 at Safeway because you did not read the description provided that you are given a starter supply and have to purchase your own groceries . Could only imagine you trying to come up with the $800,000 needed to buy the property? Truly sorry that in the best country in the world that some people lack simply economic knowledge.
