Our property is ideal for small family events, providing a delightful setting for 2-3 couples and their kiddos to create cherished memories. Please note that the pool is open from Mid May to Mid September, making summer getaways a delight.
For our winter renters, rest assured that we take care of the snow removal on the driveway to ensure easy access. However, we recommend an SUV to navigate any winter weather conditions.
Your safety is essential to us, which is why we have a RING camera to monitor external driveway activity only, ensuring your privacy while maintaining security.

Great week at the Country House!

Our family of 14 enjoyed the expansive property and amenities offered. The listing was accurate and the space/privacy was appreciated! The kids loved the zip line, frog pond, and craft room. There were plenty of quiet cozy spots for us to break up and do our own thing.

Family Get-together

The Ultimate Family Retreat was perfect for our family. 10 adults and 7 grandkids age 4 to 6mos! Kids loved the pool, play area and firepit. Kitchen was wonderful and we all fit just fine! The Baniewicz family were awesome hosts!!

Fall Family Getaway

Perfect place for our fall family getaway! Enjoyed the pool, catching frogs, and apple picking at nearby Wickham farms. The guys enjoyed golfing also nearby! You really have everything you need..even fresh eggs every day! The grandchildren really enjoyed gathering the eggs 😊 even baking apple pie. The hosts Brian and Whitney were very accommodating and accessible. Highly recommended this property.

This a fabulous property. It has several living areas that are wonderful for gathering together, or just a quiet place to read, do artwork or work. The kitchen is very large with lots of counterspace, a very large commercial stove with oven and two built in ovens. We loved the chickens which were outside in a pen and my grand girls gathered eggs several times a day. We had fresh eggs every morning. The lily/frog pond was beautiful and very lively with frogs jumping from the ponds edge and hopping pad to pad. The pool and hot tub were used constantly. This house is very close to several falls including Niagara Falls and the Finger Lakes, breweries, restaurants and vineyards. It has a running track that was extremely handy for morning or afternoon exercise. Our hostess, Whitney, texted many times to check in and gave us other falls to see and places to visit. This is a top 10 place to stay!

Big Family Reunion Dream Home!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property! There was plenty to do in the house as well as around the area. Our group was on the large side with kids of all ages running around. The pool was the biggest attraction for them, but the basement was full of toys and games that they spent hours enjoying! The adults had a beautiful backyard and front yard to enjoy chatting and reconnecting. We made good use of the Pickleball equipment and had several (some still disputed) lively matches. Communication was easy, the kitchen was fully stocked and roomy. We had enough space during our joint family dinners to accommodate 17 adults and 30 kids (most of which did not actually spend the night at the rental with us). Fantastic time had by all!

One of the nicest VBROs we have stayed in. SO many activities for the kids- we could have stayed a full week and never been bored. The owner was very responsive and checked in! Gorgeous house- too nice to be rented out!!!

The property is very large and exceptional. There were nine adults in my group. We had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is very well stocked, large and easily accommodates multiple cooks. We ended up eating in more than planned. The outdoor deck and eating area is large and has a wonderful view of the property. The pool was large and very comfortable.

We had an amazing stay at the property with a multi-generational family (grandparents, parents and kids). We had 4 kids ages 1-7, and 6 adults. The house was so well set up for the kids and adults, we will definitely be returning.There are so many good things to say but here are some of the highlights: We loved walking around the track in the backyard, making smores by the firepit, catching frogs at the pond. We swam to our heart's content and got fresh eggs from the chickens every morning. Kids also used the zipline and play equipement etc. Cannot emphasize enough how nice it is to have a house that already has toys and areas set up for the kids. The basement was a huge hit and it was great to have that indoor space for them. We set up rock-band and everyone played together & made some lasting memories. The host was also incredible, so kind and communicative. When we had any questions she responded right away. One thing to note regarding pool safety is that the property has a fence around the pool area, which was very important for us with the little kids. They also have an alarm that can be set to sound when a door is opened. The one side of the fence though that is facing the house would be climb-able if you have any kids who are climbers (esp age 2-3). If that was the case, you could keep all those door locked and go the long way around the house and to go in and out of the pool, which is less convenient, but do-able. Amazing property & I highly recommend it!

Wonderful Property for a Family Vacation

Property has many amenities with a large in-ground pool, frog pond, fire pit and chickens highlighting what the kids (ages 8-17) enjoyed the most. We had an extended family reunion while visiting Rochester from Florida and all events were in Fairport and thus an easy drive from the property. The owners were attentive and most accommodating. We are scheduled to come back next July to one of owners newer properties which is 3 miles away.

Amazing - Truly was the Ultimate Family Retreat

The house is absolutely gorgeous! The pool was the center of our daily activity! Three generations from ages 18 through 85 and everyone had a great time. The kitchen has everything you need. We ate, drank, and played out by the pool every day. Plenty of places to eat outside or inside. The chickens and the farm fresh eggs were amazing and just added to the experience. The house is private but yet centrally located to grocery stores, restaurants, ice cream, etc. anything you might want to do. Would highly recommend a stay at the “Ultimate Family Retreat”. We’ve already booked our stay for next year at this house!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful experience at the country house. Whitney was wonderful, as always with her communication and having the house ready and clean for us upon arrival. We utilized the home for a family reunion and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how lovely the home was. Kids and adults loved the pool, hot tub, frog pond and zip line! Will definitely be staying again.

Family weekend getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful rental! The house is clean and roomy! Spacious enough for a large family getaway! My daughter really enjoyed the chickens and frog pond. We especially enjoyed the spaciousness of the house! The master bedroom was like a hotel suite and amazing views of the outdoors. There was so much to do on the property and the outdoor space like like pool and hot tub was a bonus and beautiful space to hang out. My daughter who is five loved all the activities to do around the house, rain or shine. She really enjoyed the craft corner upstairs. We definitely would be back again!

Brockport Graduation & Family Reunion

This beautiful property was absolutely perfect for our extended family to get together to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. The owner was extremely responsive to all questions and so accommodating! The house was extremely clean and all amenities were provided for with such care! We loved our stay and visiting the chickens and eating the delicious eggs. What a treat! We highly recommend this property!

The owners opened the pool early for us. Although it rained most the weekend, the children enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Nice roomy house and property.

It was absolutely amazing 👏

If you are looking for the ultimate family retreat house, then this is it. From the moment we arrived everything was well placed as described. The kids and everyone who visited us was blown away by the beauty of house, grounds and the many gathering places on the first floor. We're for sure returning this summer. Lastly Whitney is such a gracious and accommodating host. Thank you for making the weekend one for the memory books!

Great for children

We stayed for a weekend wedding. Wonderful place for all grand babies and their families to come together ! Plenty of room to spread out with big open kitchen. My daughter even gathered the eggs for breakfast. Host was very responsive to our questions and we really appreciated that!

Fabulous Stay

We spent a week here and everything was fabulous. The home is large and looks just as you see it on the website, which isn't always the case. The views from any window were incredible, so enjoyable to drink our morning tea and coffee while looking out. The pool was great, the kids were in it everyday. There was plenty for the kids to do, the trampoline, climbers and zip line were a big hit with the young ones. Collecting the eggs each day was great fun for the kids and we all enjoyed eating them for breakfast. Lots to do in the Rochester area, plenty of restaurants and shopping within 10 minutes of the house. The house has everything you could need if you choose to make your own meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to work with Whitney again for one of their other properties too. Whitney checked in with us regularly to offer options for what to do while the weather was rainy to ensure we had a great time, she was a pleasure to work with and truly cares about her guests experience.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This home is large and great for hosting and family get togethers. Its nice enough to feel like you are on vacation and staying at a nice resort but not so fancy you can't get comfy! The Chickens are fun. The home is truly in the country and in a very private setting but a 5 minute drive to all the basic retail stores and with in an hour of so many amazing attractions. 20 minutes to downtown Rochester, 35 minutes to Finger Lakes, 20 minutes to Lake Ontario. So much to do in the area and we are happy to share our ideas with you.
