Cozy & rustic cottage, close to North Conway and StoryLand!

Just a mile from the charming village of North Conway, a few miles from StoryLand and surrounded by many hiking trails in the White Mountains, our cozy one level cottage is the perfect basecamp.

Our cottages is a perfect size for a family heading to StoryLand or the many other activities in our Valley or a couple of friends looking for outdoor hiking, climbing or cycling adventures.

North Conway offer lots of restaurants and shops. After your day in the mountains, settle into an adirondack chair around the outdoor fire pit, or on a chilly summer night, get cozy in front the wood burning fireplace and play games together in the large family room.

This sweet cottage has a large, open living room with hardwood floors, fireplace, kitchen, dining area, full bathroom with bathtub and sunny family room stocked with lots of puzzles and games. Two bedrooms with new beds. One has a Queen bed and a half bathroom; the other also has a Queen bed. There's an additional little alcove room with a bunk bed.

This is an older property, but it was cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well equipped, from the kitchen to the bathroom, and plenty of dry firewood for making fires. We've stayed at several vacation homes through VRBO and this was by far the best equipped. Our hosts were communicative and got back to us quickly when we had a question or needed something. The location was ideal for hiking in the White Mountains and there were several excellent restaurants and outdoor recreation shops nearby. We would stay here again.

Location!

This is our second time in the house. The location is great and there is a fantastic sledding place a minute walk away. The house is equipped with everything and my kids really love the game room. The house is cozy and checks all the boxes for us.

Great place

Very comfortable home and a great location. Convenient to ski slopes, snowshoeing, shopping, etc. The host Nancy was very helpful. Very quiet surrounded by woods. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway in NH!

The host was amazing - she was super helpful and responded promptly. This is actually our second rental at this property - the space and location worked perfectly for our family! She had the sweetest welcome basket on arrival (it’s all in the details for me). Great location to everything in North Conway!

Winter Stay at Stolen Cottage

Awesome hidden gem in North Conway central to everything but tucked in the woods. Nothing better than spending a day outside then coming back and sitting by the fire. Also enjoyed to room stocked with games. Nancy was great to work with and very welcoming. Would recommend!

Perfect

My husband and I needed a weekend away with a cozy fireplace, comfortable bed and full kitchen. We like to snowshoe, and we like to have a close downtown. This property was perfect. Nancy was a terrific host and incredibly accomodating. The day we were supposed to travel up was predicted to be a lot of freezing rain and to get worse as the day went on, so she said we could get into the property as early as we wanted on check-in day, On checkout day, we wanted to attend an online event at 10 am that would have made 11am checkout a little tight so we requested noon. Nancy immediatly replied to stay until 1 so as not to stress. The kitchen was fully equipped, so if you like to cook, no problem with supplies. Beds and living room furniture were comfortable. We did not use the back room so I can't attest to that. It's not a walking neighborhood, but that was OK for us as we drove to the trails and other destinations. The fireplace was amazing. And, as chocolate lovers, we were tickled that there was box of chocolates welcoming us. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Everything you need for a peaceful vacation

We had a great time staying at this cottage in Intervale for our winter vacation. The house has been updated with some new furniture and decor, since the pictures in the profile. It’s cozy, comfortable, and one of the cleanest rentals we’ve experienced. The location is perfect for access to skiing, restaurants, grocery store, and everything we needed for our stay. The owners also own Trails End ice cream, so we stopped and enjoyed a delicious apres-ski treat. (I highly recommend the unique lemon chocolate chip ice cream, the kids liked the unicorn and pistachio flavors). We skied nearby most days of our trip, but also enjoyed a day relaxing at the cottage, playing in the snow, sledding at the hill down the street, sitting by the fire place, and playing board games together. Throughout the week, our family of four enjoyed a few of the many games, puzzles, and books at the house. Plus, the house has great space, so everyone could find their own nook to read and chill. I’m addition, we had everything we needed for cooking, baking, and serving. The hosts, Rob and Nancy were very nice, welcoming, and responsive to our questions. They made the stay easy, including clear communication about the check-in/check-out process was seamless. We hope to be back!

This cottage was just a perfect place for us during our New England fall visit! From the kitchen supplies to the linens, it had everything we needed. Most of our breakfast and dinner meals were made at the cottage. After a full day of touring around New Hampshire, it was so relaxing to come back to the cottage and relax by the fire while dinner was cooking (mostly in the crockpot)! Most important was the comfortable beds which provided us with a good night sleep. The backyard surrounded by a forest full of beautiful yellow and orange fall leaves was also a place of relaxation when we returned from our day trips.Nancy was so easy to communicate with and answered any questions that we had. I would highly recommend Nancy’s cottage to any visitors coming to this area. If we return to the Conway area, we won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Location

Story Land was the primary destination during our stay, and the cottage made travelling there quick and easy. It was also a breeze going to Schouler Park by way of back roads. The typical traffic congestion on the main road had no impact on us during our stay. The cottage itself is super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for the night we cooked in. We never felt cramped, especially with the large playroom towards the rear of the cottage. We won't hesitate to book again.

We had a wonderful stay. We found the house clean and inviting when we first arrived complete with a welcome basket. The house was close to so many locations yet still felt quiet and nestled in the woods. there was ample room for our family of six and the playroom was a huge hit so much, In fact the day we got home, we found a foosball table on marketplace and went and picked it up. It did get a bit warm, but there were a lot of fans available in the house. The only thing that I would like to see for our next stay is a curtain on the living room door at night. It just feels like you can see into the hall with the bedrooms. Overall, a great find.

Coziest winter getaway! Amazing host!

This was our second stay at Nancy’s and it was just as perfect as the first. She’s an extremely communicative and thoughtful host - leaves a welcome basket with snacks, always gives us suggestions for activities that are age appropriate for our daughter, and responds to any and all questions promptly. It’s the perfect family getaway. Whether you want to ski, sled, go out to eat, shop, or just lounge in PJs (the house is so cozy and well maintained), this is absolutely the spot. We will be back next year.

You'll often find our family of six (4 boys) playing out in the snow whether it is skiing or sledding, and in the warmer months, we'll be out hiking, on our mountain or road bikes or playing at StoryLand. We consider ourselves so lucky to live here and we are so delighted that you are considering a getaway to this beautiful place.
