Enjoy a wonderful escape to Big Blue Sea. Private pool, and a quick walk to the neighborhood beach. With large deck on both floors, eat dinner on the on the top deck and enjoy the view, or relax with a book on the lower deck. Top floor crows nest has a great view and a writing desk. High speed MediaCom internet for remote working, writing, gaming, and smart TV's. It is a 5 minute walk to the private neighborhood beach. We host a large variety of wildlife on our beaches including turtle nesting areas, dolphins, fishing and a variety of birds.

Pretty House

If you’re going to be rained in by a hurricane for most of your vacation, this house is a good one to stay in. All kidding aside, the house was clean and beautiful. The pool was nice and I didn’t find the walk to the beach to be too daunting. Would stay there again.

Restful week!

Great location and beautiful property! Plenty of room and well appointed. Great communication with owner Elisa and local property manager Lisa who was readily available for anything. The pool was a perfect perk and of course we love all the little local spots Fort Morgan has to offer! Thanks for a great Labor Day week!

Super Location!

Best neighborhood to stay in Ft Morgan!!! House is within walking distance to beacb access, however a cart rental makes it more bearable!! We had a few minor hiccups upon arrival, but quick communication with owner/property manager corrected those.

Another great week at Big Blue the whole family had a blast the beach the pool the on site manager Lisa was fantastic Big Blue check all the boxes From the little kids to the sixty year old kid we all enjoyed our stay and will be back next year

July Fourth Family Vacation

Had a great holiday week with the family! The house was spacious and the pool for the kiddos was a huge plus! The recommendation for the golf cart was greatly appreciated, it made traveling back and forth to and from the beach a breeze since I always tend it overpack! Will definitely be back! ❤️

I apologize for the delay in providing feedback following our visit to your home. Finding the right words to accurately convay our experience has taken some time, but I am pleased to finally share my thoughts. Our stay at your home was truly exceptional, and we have been enthusiastically recommending it friends and family ever since. Every aspect of our visit exceeded our expectations. From the serene and peaceful ambiance at night to the proximity of the beach, we couldn't have asked for a better retreat. A special mention goes to Elisa and Lisa, whose recommendations for local restaurants and assistance in arranging a golf cart rental with Tim were invaluable. Amazing Place to Stay

This was our second time staying in Gulf Shores and this place far exceeded our previous experience. The house was great but having the pool in the backyard was great as we had multiple children that required naps so we were not stuck inside. We rented a golf cart so getting stuff to the beach was no issue. Elisa was more than flexible with travel arrangements. One of the best part was being secluded from the downtown craziness but a quick and easy 15 minute drive or so to get to restaurants. Should we return to gulf shores we would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed

This was our second month long stay at this property. Last year we were disappointed that the pool wasn’t heated as it was chilly most our stay. Owner stated the pool would be heated by fall of 2023. Shame on me for not checking before booking for the month of March this year. Pool was not heated and owner only took action after complaining. The heater was installed during our 4th week there and it took a week to dial it in. So out of a 5 week stay we’ve able to use the pool a couple of days. Unfortunately it was as chilly if not more this year. Overall property maintenance was poor. Gas grill was destroyed and replaced after we said something. Mesh around the pool to keep the sand out was all flapping in the wind. I went out and bought zip ties and repaired myself. Board and pallets from building still laying around the property. We used some of the boards last year for a makeshift sidewalk to the pool that’s still there. Nothing permanent done. Oven door was broken but usable. Faucet fixtures loose last year are still loose along with towel fixtures in the bathroom. Also keep in mind there are 38 stair steps to get to the main living area. For us the pool heated was the big disappointment. Owner had a year to get this done and stated it would be. Again, shame on me for not confirming as we would have never booked without it. Everything considered this will be our last time at this property.

Great House!

Gorgeous house that was well stocked. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. For guests- I would recommend a beach cart/wagon for hauling stuff to the beach or a golf cart for those with mobility issues.

Great vacation home

Big Blue Sea was a wonderful vacation home. We enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful; kitchen well equipped for cooking meals; bedrooms and beds were comfortable; everything was clean; and the family areas of the home provided spaces for connecting with one another (pool area was great & living room had games). The host was quick to communicate and helpful! Overall, a nice home for a beach getaway!

Big Blue

OMG...I don't know where to start. First, Elisa is wonderful. Very quick at replying to messages and requests. House was great. Pool was beautiful. Kitchen was set up perfectly (with the exception of it being on the top floor). The bedrooms/bathrooms were very spacious. The walk to the beach was a little further than we expected but we managed. The private beach was extremely nice--not crowded at all. Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay and we will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing home!

We had an absolutely amazing time this past week staying here. The location was wonderful. Home was very clean and very well stocked of linens. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook meals with. The property manager Lisa was absolutely amazing! The pool was perfect. The crows nest was beautiful at night time. This was our first trip to Alabama and definitely won't be our last thanks to the amazing time we had here. If you're looking for a family friendly, peaceful location and overall relaxing vacation i highly recommended booking this home! :)

Family Vacay with adult “children”

Our family of 5 enjoyed being so close to the beach with a pool day option. There was plenty of room for us all and the kitchen was well equipped for family meals. Neighborhood was great! Host and property manager were very responsive. Recommend renting a golf cart to get to and from the beach. We had a great week!

Excellent Home away from Home

We spent a week at Big Blue Sea and I was very pleased with the house, the response to a small issue we had, and the overall attractiveness and accessibility of the house, right close to the beach. The A/C was cold. The pool was warm. Awesome shower in the second level between two bedrooms. I’d highly recommend a stay here at 6660 Driftwood! Some tips: Golf cart is a must if you’re not into carting a two year old! Even for us alone I think we would have rented a golf cart. Made things a super breeze to get to the beach with all the gear in tow. Order a pickup order of groceries from Walmart on the drive in to pick up and tote to the house with you. Nothing but one pizza place and a dollar general on the whole stretch of road.

Pictures are deceiving

Pool was nice. Nowhere for children to play if you bring them. Noisy air conditioning- sounded like a 747 taking off on both floors. A lot of wood debris- old sawhorses, lumber and dead trees. Exterior house did not seem completed- deck posts and railing not painted. Very uncomfortable chairs for counter top and table dining. Dining table looked like left over lumber painted white. Disappointing compared to pictures.

The right place

We have been coming to surf side now for 13 years this is close to the top. We had stayed here before and it was great but the addition of the pool makes it excellent. It rained the first three days so the beach was not happening but with the new pool the grandkids and big kids still had a blast Thank you so much WE WILL BE BACK

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We loved that we close enough to the Parkway to go in to town a couple of nights, but far enough out we didn't have to fight for real estate on the beach. We had one super minor issue with the smoke detector when we got there that was taken care of almost immediately. If i could make one recommendation it would be for more bath towels. Other than that, the stay was perfect!

Absolutely amazing!!!!!

This was our first time in Alabama Gulf Shores and we absolutely loved it. This house is incredible. Very modern and clean. We will definitely be booking this house again. Elisa was great to work with, check in was a breeze.

Month of March

This was our first time renting for a whole month so we wanted something newer and that allowed pets. The house was perfect for us. Close enough to the beach for a short walk yet secluded enough from the crowds. Elisa, the owner was very easy to work with and very responsive on a few questions we had. Morgan Beach rental set us up with beach service that worked out great. Only suggestion is to heat the pool so it can be utilized in the colder months, but I think it’s being looked into. Would definitely book again.

Great stay for annual couples trip

We had an awesome time at the beach with friends staying here! So much space on all floors and great location to the beach with just a little bit of a neighborhood walk to get to the access point. Really enjoyed how private the beach was and quiet the neighborhood was as well. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!
