9 miles from Gillespie County airport , 70miles from Austin airport, 60 miles away from San Antonio airport, which makes it very convenient to travel.
This lovely home is sited on 5 acres of cedar trees, which actually were used to build the property.

Girls trip

The property was perfect and gated which we loved. The house was spacious and clean. The listing was incorrect with the number of beds listed. There is 1 king bed, 2 queens and 2 twins. It would sleep 9 comfortably but we made it work.

Perfect cabin for Fredericksburg

The property is ideal to get away and only 5-10 minutes from main. Amazing views and the kids loved seeing the deer every day.

Loved our stay

House was very pretty and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay. The surroundings were beautiful and saw lots of wildlife and deer. We would stay here again.Just noting though that the listing is incorrect in listing the numbers of beds. It says sleeps 12 and we had 9. It says the loft area has two queen beds and two twin beds, there was only 1 queen bed. Also incorrectly lists two primary rooms with a king bed. We ended up sleeping 3 to one bed which was fine but weren’t expecting.

Love the house and location

We really enjoyed the location as it was just a short drive to town and was very peaceful and quiet. House is better suited for two or three couples as it is 2 bedrooms and a loft with 2 bathrooms. Our group ended up being smaller as our son, his wife and two kids were unable to make it so it worked out better in the end people wise or it would have been too small for the 12 of us.

Great Birthday Stay

It was a very nice place. The only thing I would say is that it should be marked a little better. It was difficult to find the exact house. The house was well appointed with a great outdoor space. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Property

We had a great time (4 adults). The house is clean and comfortable. The views are great and we loved seeing all of the deer. The house is also close to downtown so it was an easy drive to restaurants and shopping.

Great get away!

The cabin was so cute and exactly like the pictures! It wasn’t far from Fredericksburg and the wineries. Lori was very helpful with adding additional guests. The cabin was also ready before 3pm check in so we were able to drop off our stuff before heading to the wineries. 10/10 would stay again! Thank you :)

Great getaway!

Our stay was great. The property is close to town but also secluded. We had one large dog that enjoyed the fenced yard and freedom. We even changed plans and stayed in to play games and enjoy the seclusion. We will definitely stay again and the friends that stayed with us are already planning their next trip to the property.

Girls weekend

The home and property were very pretty. Our only disappointment was that the house is located very close to a busy road with lots of early morning traffic you could hear from the bedrooms while trying to sleep.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and well appointed. The deer are everywhere and so much fun to watch. The ping pong table and cornhole boards added a nice touch. It was private and not too far from town. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner was very easy to work with and promptly accommodated us when I needed to add more people to our reservation. The listing said spa jacuzzi which we never saw so I took one star on accuracy from that but overall this is a 5 star property that I would gladly refer to my friends!

Just what we expected

Property looks just like the pictures! We had 10 adults. We took two queen air mattresses with us and did use. Location is great! We thoroughly enjoyed they ping pong table and corn hole. If only there was a restroom on second floor but all in all we would visit this property again tomorrow.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This property was absolutely beautiful! And matches the pictures in the listing. It was also the perfect location for a fun girls weekend in Fredericksburg. I am definitely a city girl, so if you are driving in try to get there before dark. It can be very difficult to see and there are deer everywhere! I will definitely be coming back! :)

Hundreds in extra charges!

I booked this place in June for a girl's trip in October. I have my receipt from check out clearly stating there are 10 guests with the final price shown. September comes around (3 months after I booked, and two weeks before my reservation) and Lori tells me I need to pay an extra $360 due to an extra guest fee that was in the description. I contacted Vrbo and they told me that the extra guest fee was added AFTER I had booked the place. Vrbo told me I could insist on not paying, but Lori could cancel the reservation at any point for any reason. After some back and forth with Lori, she said “it’s not that much per person and you won’t find a better place for a better price”. And she was absolutely right. She waited so long until there were no other places left in the area to stay that we were forced to pay the extra amount or we were left without a place to stay. Very slimy way of doing business from Lori the real estate agent. Also, it looks like Lori self-reviewed her own property (I'm surprised that Vrbo allows that, but not surprised Lori would do that to make herself look better).

Two friends who have known each other for over 20 years. Kids grew up together and we went threw many hard times and goodtimes together. Lori saw this house and thought it was very special. So she called Stephanie and they both agreed to go ahead and make this charming place their property.

Lori is a Realtor in Texas and California and resides in California. Stephanie is a mortgage lender in Texas who grew up and resides in Texas.
We are super excited to share our home with you.

I have never seen a property that was so unique .The previous owners had built this property when they where very young in age . The cedar floors ,walls and ceilings are cedar from the trees on this lot.
Makes it even more special to us both!
