The Cactus House

Welcome to the Cactus House! Our home is a sweet Santa Fe style abode located in southern Sierra Vista. Enjoy a quiet neighborhood with views of the Mule Mountains from the front porch and the Huachuca Mountains from the back porch. With three bedrooms and beautiful living areas inside and out, this is an easy place to call home. If you are coming to birdwatch, government business or when transitioning into a new home of your own, you are sure to enjoy this peaceful place.

The only place to stay in Sierra Vista

The Cactus House is the only place to stay when visiting the Sierra Vista area. Plenty of room, clean, kitchen well stocked. In a quiet neighborhood close to shopping yet secluded enough to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing

Family Visit

The accommodations, and amenities were wonderful. You could tell the property was very well cared for and maintained. Beautiful rooms with well appointed decor. The outdoor space with a patio area and longe chairs in the front and back were nice to have and use. Great location for visiting family with lots of things to do and see around the Sierra Vista area.

Perfection

amazing property at the Edgrmif town near the mountains and the lovely and high end Urbano restaurant. We celebrated Easter with our family and had a great time in the sunny patios, in front of the fire, and cooking meals in the roomy pleasant kitchen.

Graduation

My family stayed here for my oldest son's graduation from AIT. The house was in a perfect location. Nearby to the base, shopping, and restaurants. The house was larger than the pictures portrayed, so there was more than enough room for 5 of us. Mary was quick to respond to any questions i had, and check in/out was easy. I would definitely recommend this property to other families!

Another great stay!

This was our 2nd stay at the property and we were impressed with the home's cleanliness and space just as it was last year when we 1st stayed. Communications by Mary once again was EXCELLENT and we will continue to stay on our future visits!

Family Reunion

Wonderful place to stay! The kitchen was awesome and the rooms were very comfortable and homey. Everything we needed was supplied and it was very relaxing. Quiet neighborhood, just the right distance from stores and restaurants. The host was so sweet!! We’ll be back!

Cactus House

A great stay for us. The house was clean, well stocked and easy to access. The owners were friendly and timely with there communication. It was central to all the places we visited Tombstone, Bizbe, and Kartchner Caverns. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect!

Quiet, clean, and all the comforts of home. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful home. I stayed for two weeks while teaching at Fort Huachuca. Couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Arizona trip

There were 4 of us. It was a nice location and a very nice home. We had everything we needed there and more. We were in the area as tourists and the location worked perfectly for Kartchner Caverns, Ramsey Canyon and Bisbee.

Lovely home! And peaceful, beautiful setting!

I stayed here with 3 of my girlfriends for a quiet getaway (writing retreat). We loved it! The house was immaculate, spacious and very nicely decorated. In the morning, we enjoyed espressos on the patio. Thank you for sharing such a great place!

Everything you need in a home away from home.

Nice roomy house in a very quiet neighborhood. Great mountain views out the front and back. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. The bed in the master bedroom is oh so comfy - makes for a great night's sleep. The house is located close to canyon entrances for birding and hiking. We would definitely stay here again when we are in Sierra Vista.

Wonderful Cactus House

My elderly parents live in Hereford, which is about 15 miles away. I could not ask for a nicer place to stay while we were celebrating my pops 90th birthday. Communication was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The Cactus House

Everything from the reservation request through check out was seamless. Communication with the host owner was easy. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials, and some pantry needs. There were plenty of towels for our use, and we did not run low on any necessary items that we needed during our stay. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again next year during my visit to family.

Snowbird experiment

We are from northern Minnesota and thought we would experiment with getting away. This was the convincing factor. The home is very spacious. We loved the location and neighborhood. Quiet and dark (at night) which is perfect for us. We brought our dog and she loved it too. Lots of hiking close by. The stores are 7 miles away but easy to get to. The neighbors were friendly too.

Peaceful Oasis

We were visiting Sierra Vista for the 1st time as we were moving family to the area, So it was a lot of work and the some R&R. The Cactus House is outstanding. Plenty of space in a quiet neighborhood and easy nearby access to everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked, and the master bath and shower are wonderful. Bedding is comfortable for great sleep. Temps were unseasonably cooler so we got to experience a cozy fire in the living area. Didnt get to use the pellet grill due to high winds and cooler temps but hopefully a return trip in the spring the house will be available. We did take the scenic drive to Tombstone and its lot of fun. I could go on and on. Mary is a fabulous host and the Cactus House will not disappoint!

MUST Stay!

This home was nothing short of incredible and exceeded our expectations in every way! Mary was awesome and attentive the few times we communicated, the patios (front and back) were both taken advantage of, the home FULLY stocked, beds extremely comfortable, bathrooms nice and clean with great water pressure in very nice showers! Oh, and the electric fireplace we took advantage of every night! Extra touch of allowing us to pull vehicle in garage was nice to have and property in a wonderful neighborhood, on a court which provided an extra layer of quietness. There is a reason Mary is a SuperHost- a wonderful spacious home with an owner that was great to work with- we WILL be back!
