Less than 1/4 mile (6 blocks) from Main St in quiet neighborhood. Private entrance with covered porch for morning coffee or afternoon "wine down." Separate fenced yard for the fur baby or play ball on the main lawn. Open concept living/dining with a fully stocked kitchenette. 2 relaxing recliners. Separate dining table with 2 chairs. Roku streaming TV with tons of channels. Comfy queen bed. Private bath has huge 3x5 shower with rainhead and plenty of extra towels tucked away in the vanity. And their is a tankless water heater so you never run out of hot water:) Meet the owners out on the shared deck and make new friends... or enjoy your privacy... whatever you decide you will love this little charmer.

Property was IMMACULATE! Loved the cozy feel as well as the decor. The hosts were AMAZING! Made our stay very memorable. Fredericksburg is a great town for many things, but when you top it off with such a great host and place to stay, it makes it a perfect weekend.

We really got lucky with our booking

We booked this fantastic Casita very last minute and only got the booking as a result of cancellation.The Casita was perfect and pictures don't do it justice. Well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. The shower is large easily accessible and full size to detail just one strong feature!Tara our host was a great communicator both via text, email and during our stay. She was kind enough to greet us on arrival and walk through the nuances of the Casita electronics.If you have pets then this is perfect for you with a secure gated designated pet area where they can do their business without concerns.I can't recommend this location more and should we return to Fredericksburg in the future this accommodation will be top of my list.Thank you Tara and Jeff!

Our get away

Amazing, had a really good time. The Casita was really nice and comfy. We liked that there is a special place for your pet to go and do its things. Also location could many be better, close to Main, where everything is. Would highly recommend.

Great location and hostess

Property is conveniently located to downtown Fredericksburg. Property is very clean and neat. The hostess had a few nice touches as well. Hostess was very communicative, but kept her distance unless needed. We will stay there again on our next trip to Fredericksburg. Ho

Very close to town adorable and great for two people decorated really pretty and warm and cozy host was very responsive to any questions and concerns and went out of her way to make us happy. Would definitely stay there again.

Quaint Casita

This is the perfect place for a couple and a couple of dogs. 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to downtown Fredericksburg. Parking, private walk, fenced yard for the dogs with poo station. We traveled with our Boston Terriers. There's plenty of room for setting up a kennel. Smart floorplan. We will return!

This is our new go-to!

This is a darling casita. Wonderful amenities and gorgeous yard. Tara was the perfect host. This was our first trip with our dog to Fburg and she made us feel so at home and welcome. We will most definitely use this location in the future.

WARNING - You may be spied on

All of the 5 star reviews are accurate with the exception of the unit being entered while we were not there by the male property owner. We setup a camera with audio to monitor our dog to make sure he behaved when we were out. We were startled when our phones went off with a person alert while we were at breakfast, only to see the male owner in the unit. The dog was not barking and there was no eminent danger so there was no reason for him to enter. All of our personal belongins were visible, as we had no reason to believe they should not be as we had all of the blinds closed. While I understand it is his property, according to Texas law and VRBO the entering of a rented unit is against the renters rights and is a violation of privacy. We reached out to VRBO and they said it was within our rights to leave this review and they are sending a warning to the owner. If the owner receives a second warning, they will no longer be able to rent through VRBO.

Lovely cottage

We started there with our dog for two days. The cottage was just as described and located only a few blocks from Main Street. Tara and Jeff were truly hospitable and accommodating. We had a lovely time! John and Jennifer

The casita was perfect in every way for our get away to FBerg.. the accommodations were comfortable and every little detail of the design and furnishings were really well thought out and delivered!
