Unlike other properties, we are located one block away from THREE Magnolia Fixer Upper homes that you can see on your evening walk! Additionally, we are less than 10 minutes to Baylor. Plus, we have plenty of room for your large groups with FOUR bedrooms and THREE bathrooms. Additionally, our home is the perfect getaway for a couples, family, or girls trip! Our Mavie House is located just over 2 miles from the Silos and downtown area! Waco offers beautiful walks by the river, hikes through Cameron Park, trips to the lake, shopping shopping shopping, and much more!

The space
The home is located near main streets that make it super easy to get to Downtown. You can get to Downtown traveling down just 2 streets. Our space feels refreshing and cozy all at the same time! We have WiFi and a smart TV to keep your entertainment needs met.

Guest access
There is a large back yard and front yard for outdoor enjoyment including outdoor games!

Other things to note

Welcome to Texas! The weather can range from one extreme to the next all within 24 hrs. We ask when using heat keep the temp no higher than 68 and when using AC no lower than 65 (at night only) and 70 during the day. This helps the unit run as efficiently as possible without causing damage.

Additionally, we try to keep the electricity usage as Earth Friendly and conservative as possible. When not using a room, can you please be mindful of turning lights off in the bedrooms, bathrooms, and all other areas of the home. We are super appreciative of your assistance in helping us be more environmentally friendly.

Children are allowed, but I do not have the home set of for safety in regards to infants ages 0-2. Also, most of the furniture, bedding and towels are white, so children of all ages may need to be watched carefully to avoid spills and stains. I appreciate your help in keeping the place clean from stains!

Please no shoes on the living room rug or bedroom carpets.

Windows - if for any reason you need to open windows please be very careful. They are the original 1916 windows. They are heavy and don’t hold in the open position. If let loose they will break. Thank you for being careful!
