Come spend time in idyllic Leipers Fork Village in Franklin, TN. Relax and enjoy a quiet break in the country to revive your body and spirit. Over Yonder offers a front porch with five rocking chairs and a porch swing. It is a great place to spend time with family and friends, listen to the gentle flow of the creek across the street, and enjoy the wooded surroundings.

Over Yonder is just 1.8 miles from Leipers Fork Village, which offers restaurants, music, antique shops, art galleries, and a spa. Leipers Fork is about 40 minutes from the downtown Nashville scene.

When you enter Over Yonder, you see a large open floor plan that includes a kitchen, dining area, and living room. It is a great place to gather and visit while preparing dinner or playing games at the dining table.

The kitchen is well-equipped for those who enjoy preparing meals.

This charming house includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms include a queen-size bed and a chair or love seat. One bedroom and a bath are on the first floor, and the upstairs offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Both bathrooms include a large shower, and the upstairs bathroom includes a standalone tub.

A full-sized washer and dryer are available on the first floor.

The hills in Leipers Fork cause spotty cell service. While at Over Yonder, it is best to log on to the free wifi and use the wifi calling feature on your cell phone. This works beautifully for calls and texts.

We have upgraded to fiber internet service as soon as it was available at our address (April 2025).

Our guests have full access to the whole house. I do request that people refrain from entering the old shed on the property. It actually used to be a smoke house and I have future plans to renovate it while keeping the charm of the old, but right now it is in need of repair, so off limits.

Country Living Over Yonder. The outdoor area includes a fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

Roomy, comfortable rental. Close to events and sites we wanted to enjoy. Met the fairly simply needs we had, including accessibility for one member of our party. There are steps up to the porch, but from there the first floor bedroom, bathroom, living area and porches were easily accessible.

Wonderful stay

Clean, convenient, spacious. We enjoyed the fire pit area and the peaceful outdoor space. Close enough to downtown Franklin and to Nashville to enjoy both locations, while getting to come back to this home and stay away from the hustle and bustle. Great host!

Excellent Experience

We LOVED staying at Over Yonder! Rocking on the front porch while listening to the creek flow was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Everything was spotless and offered everything we needed. Communication with Peggy was easy and timely. We are already look at dates to rebook. Definitely recommend staying at Over Yonder! 10/10!

Love this place!

This cozy place has such a homey feel! We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The host have taken such care with every little detail to make this the perfect spot. Beautifully decorated, all the amenities anyone could possibly need! Beds are comfy,bathrooms are great with walk in showers and an amazing tub!Hopefully we will be able to book our next stay so we can make use of the beautiful porch and firepit area.

Ideal Thanksgiving house

My daughter had to stay in Nashville for Thanksgiving. She had to perform at Christmas at Belmont(should go see). She suggested we come to the area for Thanksgiving. I wanted to have a quiet and relaxing space for our family to hang out. It turned into family friends and sibling family that joined us on Thanksgiving day at the last minute. The house was close to grocery stores and shoppping. Everything was perfect about the house. Location was what I envisioned.

Great spot to enjoy the fall

This place was so picturesque in the fall season. There is a beautiful little creek that runs in front of the property that you can hear while relaxing on the porch. The house itself was very roomy and cozy. The host is very responsive and helped me get back an important item that was left behind.

Would Stay Again For Sure!!

Stayed here while in town for a wedding in Nashville. The town Leipers Fork is really cute to walk around. Lots of neat shops and a great live music place to eat. The house itself was easy to find and we really enjoyed our trips back and forth to Nashville. While further than I’d Uber, the drive was nice, peaceful and not overly far. We really enjoyed all the mansions along the way. The house was spotless, private, quiet cutely decorated and had everything we needed for our stay and owner was easy to work with. Would absolutely stay here again!

A Gem of a Home and Host!

We booked this beautiful home for a girl's weekend (me, my daughter and sister) to attend the Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, TN. We felt welcomed right from the start with our correspondence with Peggy. Her home is very clean and well maintained with charm and hominess throughout. Sadly, Hurricane Helene dampened the festival (we skipped the first night due to the heavy rainfall) but we made other fun, from rocking on the front porch laughing to Scrabble wars and movies in the cozy living room. Beds were comfy and perfect for sleeping in each morning. If we come back to the area, this is 100% where we will stay again! Thank you, Peggy!! Your attention to detail and accommodating generosity were greatly appreciated.

Mom's 83rd birthday trip

My mom, step-dad, husband and I stayed the weekend at Over Yonder for a 83rd birthday trip for my mom. We all absolutely loved it! The house is so pretty and very clean. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in that area. My mom didn't want to leave!

Loved Over Yonder!

I was on the fence about where to stay since we had never been to the Franklin/ Leipers Fork are. I almost booked a place on Franklin near the factory, but went with OY due to the great reviews. I am SO glad I did. We had elderly parents traveling with us, so the downstairs bedroom was perfect for them! Loved having the upstairs for my family of 4. The location of this house is perfect! Just 4 minutes from Leipers Fork and the drive is insanely beautiful! Just as many other reviews stated, our favorite part was the porch and deck! We loved drinking coffee on the swing/ rocking chairs each morning and grilling on the deck throughout our stay. Peggy was super responsive and very kind! Highly recommend is you are wanting a warm, cozy, lovely place to stay.

PEACEFUL RETREAT

The House was very clean and all necessities were available. The House was very quiet & surrounded by serene landscapes. Quick access to all amenities & Nashville & Franklin, TN. Quiet and close to Franklin

Staying in over yonder was a wonderful experience!! I am THAT VRBO renter who packs her own skillet and other special comfort items that my family likes to have whenever we travel. Well I didn’t need anything because Peggy had thought of everything ! The house was beautiful and so inviting. It was very clean and very well stocked with quality furnishings — everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Peggy was accessible too. I can’t wait to go back.

Love This Home

There were 4 in our group. Everything when we got there was very clean. We loved area Leapers Fork 5 min drive. Nashville was about 45 we took the back roads for the views. We will stay here again.

I retired recently from the health care industry and decided having a VRBO would be fun. I am originally from Cincinnati, but I moved around a bit. I have been in Nashville since 1995, so I guess I am here to stay.

I loved the house itself, very open and great for family and friends to visit. I also really like the front porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing. The sound of the creek across the street and wildlife on the property adds to the relaxation. The outdoor area includes a firepit with Adirondack chairs.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This is a nice quiet area with fun shops and activities close but not too far from Nashville for those who enjoy spending time in the country and the city.

Franklin Square is close as well and offers many dining and shopping opportunities.
