Wonderful and quiet stay!

The location is great! Close to the arts and crafts community and a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Super quiet area and we saw a bear!!

Relaxing family getaway!

We loved our stay at Bear in Mind! We had plenty of space indoors and out - one of our favorite things to do was simply grill and eat dinner at the picnic table on the upper deck. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful - perfect for relaxing! We had 6 people (4 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 6) The kids shared the pull out sofa in the game room which they thought was really fun. Richele is a great host, very good communication all the way through. The cabin was stocked with all of the essentials which was helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

A true gem!!!

Bear In Mind was perfect in every way!!! Beautiful decor..immaculate..personal touches..guest book..game room..organized kitchen!!! Richele was a pleasure..always responsive for any question/any time promptly!! Perfect get away..will definitely be back and even interested in their other properties!! We absolutely loved it..only hesitation with sharing our review is that it will be discovered and harder to book again!! A little piece of Heaven!!!

Spring Break

Perfect cabin for our little family of four. The kids loved the pool table and having their own king sized bed. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t see any bears.

Wonderful!

The home was beautiful. We really appreciated the high quality items the home contained-nice bedding, toiletries, dishes and the labeled organization. The home was in the perfect location! Close to town but still felt secluded. It completely felt like a “home away from home” and was one of the best parts of our trip!

Loved our stay!

We loved everything about this cabin. It was in the perfect location and was close to everything we wanted to do. We loved the cabin itself, from the inside to the outside, and our girls loved it as well. Our favorite part was seeing a bear our very first night right below the cabin! We will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future.

Excellent Cabin Near the Smokies

This was my first time staying in a cabin in the mountains and it was awesome. Wonderfully spacious cabin; great game room with retro video games and pool table; hot tub was awesome with a great view of the mountains!

Thanksgiving Week

Fantastic property and owners. Everything was exactly as described. Cabin has everything you could need for a great stay. Close to many places but also tucked away for privacy and peace. More than enough room for 4 people and could easily fit 5-6. Was lucky enough to see bears on 3 different occasions right off the back deck. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone!

Nicely appointed accommodations, very clean

Great cabin! Very clean. Nice touch to have a TV and fireplace in both bedrooms, living room and family room. Liked having ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms, along with standing fans in each room to adjust temperature. Kitchen was nicely set up with all you need, crock pot, smoothie maker, large toaster, coffee & k-cup maker, even cups, plates & bowls for kids. Night lights in bathrooms and other rooms which we’ve never seen. They are good to have when in an unfamiliar home. Bathrooms had nice soap and bath spray. Host was very responsive to all our text. We grilled one evening and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub (very clean). Pool table and pac-man game was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again when returning to the area.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for a short getaway. When it comes to places to stay, I can get a bit obsessive in finding the perfect place. Well this cabin was it! Bear In Mind is exceptionally clean. It is conveniently located yet feels secluded. The decor is beautiful and you can tell that there was a lot of thought that went into making it comfortable for guests. Richele was quick to respond to any messages and just a pleasure to work with.

Cabin was a great place to stay with easy access to Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park.Property was very clean, and the owners communicate with you very well.Our family enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again.

Great mountain house!

everything in this cabin is perfect down to the bedding and views! So close to downtown and very quiet. we enjoyed the fragrant trees and views were spectacular. Hope to come back soon.

Peaceful, quiet, serene, and good location!

We loved that this cabin had privacy! It was so quiet and peaceful here. It also still has a beautiful sneak peek view of the mountains too. We loved sitting on the deck early in the morning listening to the birds and the rustling of leaves as we tried to spot wildlife while enjoying our coffee. I could have read my book on the deck with that view in the background for hours. The cabin itself is charming and was the perfect size for our family of four.

Wonderful property and host

"Bear in Mind" was an ideal place for our family (including two 5yo's and a 10yo) to retreat for some spring break R&R. The home is a beautiful destination in and of itself, and is also a short drive to Gatlinburg, the national park, and other regional destinations. We chose to take it easy, enjoying a couple of half-day adventures while spending the rest of our time enjoying the mountain scenery from the cabin, cooking/grilling meals for the family and having some fun with the arcade console, pool table and spa. We sincerely appreciated the hosts' welcome and excellent communication. We definitely recommend this property to others. Thank you!

Beautiful

The cabin was equipped with EVERYTHING you’d need in a home away from home! The games, hot tub and location to the downtown area were absolutely perfect ! Beds were so comfy. The owner was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed to check in and she made herself available if we had any questions ! We would absolutely stay again !

"Bear in Mind" (VRBO#2142098) and "It Bears Repeating" (VRBO#2805434) are located in Gatlinburg in the Arts and Crafts Community. The cabins are close together which makes them perfect for big families or large groups. "Bearindipity" (VRBO#2725990) is located in Pigeon Forge near The Ripken Experience Ballpark. Our cabins are tucked away for privacy yet close to grocery stores and all the tourist attractions located along The Parkway.

All three cabins are loaded with all the amenities needed for the perfect vacation experience. We thought of everything. From fire pits, to cookware, plush towels and the most comfortable beds you can imagine. You will discover why we are a 5-Star vacation experience and why our guest return year after year.
