MOUNTAIN VIEW! Cozy 2BR/2BA Cabin! Fire Place, Hot Tub, Outdoor Fire Pit & more

GREAT mountain views in ourCozy Gatlinburg Cabin located in Cobbly Nob Village(Bent Creek GOLF at mountain base) This is a two level cabin with an open upper level are featuiring 4 person dining, electric reclining chair and sofa, pool table, wood burning fireplace, a large screen smart TV and a full accessorized kitchen! Down stairs are two large bedroom suites. Each have smart TV's and their own private bath . There is a media room off the bedrooms, making a perfect place for kids or adults to hang out! lazy Bear has lots of windows to enjoy the view. One bedroom has a king bed with its private stand up shower and the second bedroom has two queens with its private shower/tub bath. The 4 person hot tub is off one of the bedrooms and is covered for year round use. It is secured behind fencing for safety. The back yard has an amazing outdoor fire pit area with plenty of seating for the whole family. Adirondack chairs encircle the built in stone fire.. The view here too is just beautiful to describe! This is a perfect place for the whole family to unwind and roast marshmallows after a full day of hiking, shopping, golfing or just playing! A Little Bit of Heaven Community pools is less than a football field walk away! Tennis Courts are also in the development. Lazy Bear has everything you might want for your mountain getaway! Plus there is an 18 hole golf Course, Bent Creek, at the base of the mountain where you drive thru when you access cabin!
Some of the best hiking trails in the Smokies are on this side of Gatlinburg located in the Greenbriar Trails area just 10 minutes away!
Lazy Bear is located in a less touristy area of Gatlinburg in the Village of Cobbly Nob yet only 15 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. 25 minutes to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge areas.

Family spring break vacation

Perfect!!!

Lazy Bear was comfy and cozy with an incredible Mountain View. Far enough out of town to be quiet and relaxing but close enough to get to all attractions easily.

Wonderful time, great view inncozy cabin

We would love to come back - especially if the weather were cooler and we’d have a chance to use the fire pit. This is a great place to relax and even enjoy a gam or two of pool. The local swimming pool is also very convenient. If you have challenges with steps or steep And narrow roads, then this may not be for you, but otherwise, this is a jewel of a house in a gorgeous setting!

For starters, Donna was an outstanding host. She was very responsive to all of my questions. Our stay was up in the air due to the recent hurricanes but Donna was so helpful to insure our stay was not delayed. The cabin was BEAUTIFUL and Donna had thought of everything. Peaceful location w/ mountain view!

What you see in photos is exactly what you'll see in person. The location is just perfect and the view is amazing! Kudos to Donna for responding to all our questions very fast, she really makes sure you get the best experience. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Lazy Bear. Absolutely wonderful!

From the very warm and cozy accommodations-including the relaxing hot tub, the comfortable bed, the electric reclining sofa, AND the amazing view- we enjoyed all the things. Unfortunately there were no bears but we’ll definitely be back around to try again! Also , Thanks to Donna for her recommendation of the Best Italian at Elks Plaza. I’m still dreaming of the garlic rolls!!!!

Perfect Mountain Retreat

The house is great. It’s very clean. The view off the back deck is amazing. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The owners have all the digital channels you need ready to log into like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ so the kids can see all of their shows. Even though it’s in a subdivision, the roads are windy. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable driving to the cabin in the ice or snow, so that’s something to keep in mind. We went in the summer, so that wasn’t as much of an issue. The TV room next to the bedrooms was great to have the kids watch their own shows. The best part is we got to see a Mama bear and her two Cubs the first night of our stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Cute Little House - Great View!

The house small and cozy with a fabulous view off of the deck! It's off the beaten path, and the drive leading to cabin is a little hairy. I've already spoken to the owner about several cleanliness issues we came across, as well as some cheap upgrades, i.e. coffee maker is about from the 80's... went out and bought k-cups for Keurig, some drawers need fixing, light bulbs out, etc.. Little things that would have made the stay better. The reclining couches were great. Master bed very comfy. Lastly, be prepared to take your trash a few miles away. Including your last day. So don't load up your car until you drive your trash to the rental place first, come back, then load.

Almost Heaven!

Had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our mountain time. Didn’t get to see any bears this time but hope to come back soon and try again! Everything was in great order, well supplied and the cabin is comfortable and absolutely lovely inside and out. We loved the view and the quiet
.just what our weary souls needed! Check in and out was super easy and owners were very friendly and communicative. If you want peace and quiet, rest and healing
this is your place. It’s a little bit of a drive to get to hikes and things but well worth it to have a quiet sanctuary to come back to. So quiet and peaceful
I’ve never seen stars like that!! The view of the mountains was stunning, hot tub was great and relaxing, and we loved the comfy reclining sofas! Very close to bent creek golf course which was fun but bring some bug spray! The pool is a short steep walk but quiet and refreshing. Be sure to stop by Trishs Mountain Diner for excellent home cooked food and true southern hospitality. We would definitely like to return to Lazy Bear soon!

Perfect get away

We loved the lazy bear! Clean. Quiet. Perfect for us. Bedrooms are down stairs and living room/kitchen were upstairs which we loved! We had 2 neighboring houses. They are close but are still far enough away that it isn’t a bother. The views in the morning are breath taking! I would suggest driving in the day time to find the house, it was not fun trying to find it at night with the twist and turns in the road. As soon as you get there, check the hot tub. Ours was not on and wouldn’t turn on.So the next morning, we did have to have maintenance come out and fix it but they were very quick and by 7:00 that night we were able to get into the hot tub. Also, I would suggest to call the renters place (where you pick up the keys) just to make sure your reservation actually went through. Other than those two things. It was perfect for our little family and it made our Christmas just perfect!

Best friend reunion

The property had the most amazing view omg! The check in process not easy you have to go to the leasing company but I was never sent te info so we drove around aimlessly with just the house address which was not easy to find but when you did omg! The owner did not respond after Vm and text but finally spoke and found out where to go. Be easier if they used key box that’s actually at the house. Neighborhood was beautiful too. The house wasn’t very clean hair in bathrooms, dirty throw rugs( we washed them) mildew all over shower doors, tub dripped constantly, kitchen pots and pans less desirable, bug droppings in cabinets, windows have a beautiful view yet they were filthy and when you opened them full of dirt haven’t been cleaned in a long time. All 3 beds horribly hard and uncomfortable a temperpedic topper would make it so much nicer. Owner text me day one asked how it was I told her good asked about a soup pot or any pot and I’m still waiting on her reply! Went to Cobbly nob leasing told a nice girl about dirtiness but she really didn’t seem interested. All in all the view and house was beautiful but if I have to pay for cleaning I expect a clean house in return as well as a return on my text

This property was as beautiful as the listing! The hot tub was amazing and the beds were comfortable. We were too busy to use the fire pit but it looked lovely. Donna was a great hostess. We had plenty of space for our family including two adult children.

This property is nestled in the private community of Cobbly Nob in Gatlinburg. It is far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the touristy Downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. It boasts some of the best hiking trails in the Smokies! The view from our mountain home are just breathtaking! We have all the added amenities one would expect while traveling with a fun outdoor fire pit area as well! Many world issues have been rectified in this circular outside meeting area. Or there is a private reading area off the back as well to just get away!

This cozy getaway has plenty of room for two couples or a family to find their own space together or in separate areas. There is a private outside hot tub area. A large open wood burning fire pit area. A seperate tv media room area as well as the upper open living room/dining/kitchen and pool table area.
