New upgrades! This property has the best pool on the beach with over 14,000 square feet of swimming area and a 28-person hot tub! This is a beautiful condo it has a master bedroom, plus a bunk room and two baths. This condo comfortably sleeps six. The views are amazing! You will enjoy the private balcony full of sunshine, warm breezes, and emerald beach views. Exclusive amenities combine with a central location to offer one of the best vacation experiences. Relax at one of the largest and most tropical pool areas and grounds on the beach. Enjoy the poolside Tiki Bar, Snack Shack, beach service, hot tub, gym, and indoor pool. Also, there is a grill area for dinner nights at home. Convenient location for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Just a short trolley ride to Pier Park!

The registration packet is to be purchased in Lobby for $85 this will include your armbands and parking pass. Shores of Panama! This unit only gives one parking pass. There is paid public parking nearby if you would like to pay to park another vehicle during your stay.

These resorts host many people during the season. The wait times at the resort elevators may be delayed depending on the time of year and the volume of guests.

You must be 25 and over to book. The person booking must be present if the other guests are under the required age.

Great condo

Parking was a little difficult. Spots were limited, mostly reserved, and extremely difficult to get a large SUV to fit in the tiny spaces. Some of the staff were not friendly. The smell of marijuana was heavily present throughout the property. The actual condo was great, and the rental company associates were very responsive and friendly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo wasn't anything special, but it was enough. It could use some updating. There were places on the walls that had been toughed up with paint that didn't match, the air conditioner wasn't very sufficient, the bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The parking garage was way far from the condo we stayed in. On the other hand, there was plenty of hot water, the views were magnificent, and the pool area was beautiful.

CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 1st time using VRBO. I did A LOT of researching, reading reviews & doing my homework. Of course worrying all the way there I was going to be disappointed and to say I was emotionally over excited to arrive and say every single detail was legit!! We are already wanting to come back!! I downloaded the app which was very easy. I messaged the owner of the unit we were in & he was super nice & helpful and very quick to respond. AWESOME!!

I would choose another unit

The positives- The property manager or whoever I was speaking to seemed very nice. The outdoor area was beautiful and swimming pool and hot tub were always clean. Close proximity to shopping and restaurants. I might stay again but not in this unit. The negatives- 1. No blanket for pull out sofa. Texted property manager and she sent someone up with one . When we went to bed , we realized they accidentally brought us a mattress cover and no blanket. It was too late to get one so he had to use the mattress cover to stay warm. They brought us one the next day. 2. Saw roaches crawling on counter and going behind stove. 3. The newly renovated unit was not fully painted. The wall behind the bunk beds was absolutely terrible. 4. No keurig although I called to confirm before our trip. Perhaps, she didn’t know what a keurig was. No knives sharp enough to cut an onion or tomato so we had to go buy some cheap ones. We left them for the next guests. It was just an inconvenience. 5. Cheap uncomfortable beds

Didn’t feel safe

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had originally booked splash but splash pad was under renovations and was thankful to be moved to another location. Management was apologetic and nice and didn’t know of the renovations. Overall stay was ok but did not feel safe after a woman fell from the 13th floor directly above us as we were on the 10th. No one notified us or asked questions. We were told nothing. We simply walked out of room and saw the crime scene directly outside our door with four kids in tow. The indoor pool was so strong of chlorine it bleached my kids swimming trunks and would burn your eyes just to sit in indoor pool room. Also the internet in the room would stop working periodically. My review is based on how we did not feel safe and wasn’t notified, indoor pool being too strong, and the internet going down every evening. The overall room was ok and had a beautiful view of the pool and beach. The couch fold out mattress was also nice and thick. The management team was very helpful and nice to get us moved to this location as this review isn’t based off them.

Great unit for a family vacation!

Great location, unit needs a little attention to details

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Management company was outstanding - very prompt and courteous to all our needs. Overall, great location if you like being right next to Pineapple Willy's (and I mean the front door looks at the restaurant so you can see the wait time). Beach in July is very over-crowded there, painfully so. The pool area was nice and tropical & we loved the tiki bar. The parking garage is a nightmare with very tight corners, large trucks and SUV's packed in their teeny, tiny spots and sometimes it took us 30min to leave for dinner since there is only a few walkable places to eat.There were traffic jams inside the garage nearly daily but security was prompt to help clear when needed but still took 1/2 hour or so. We wished the resort (Shades of Panama) had outside parking! We would have gladly skipped that garage. Overall, great owner and management company. The resort staff however is rude and not helpful; they just seemed burned out. The unit itself could use some TLC (mis-matched paint, minor holes in wall in bathroom) and it felt somewhat stark and bachelor-like with minimal furniture and creature comforts of home. Unit really could use some extra seating in LR too as there is only a couch for 2 and some kitchen & barstool seating which was somewhat uncomfortable for just us 2. I can't imagine if there were more occupants! Patio had nice seating and had a cute view of the beach and pool area; no complaints with location of unit. Overall, it just needs a refresher of paint/decor and the kitchen essentials were very minimal (we had 1 steak knife to share LOL). We would not hesitate to rent again from this owner or management company though. Very pleased with their service. Place was super clean, no smells, bed was like concrete tho. Unit just needs some attention to detail, but I get that it's a rental and generally people just beat the sh** out of stuff which is a shame because good people like us suffer. LOL. I will look for something with more comforts next time.

Nice unit - but not great complex

The unit itself was great, but the Shores of Panama has several downsides. It would be helpful for the property manager to provide the parking location on check-in. The parking garage is HORRIBLE - takes 20 minutes just to get out of the garage when you want to go anywhere and it is super tight - we were always worried we would hit someone or get hit. The elevators are also horrible and take forever. Unit is lovely and clean, but I would not stay at the Shores of Panama again.

Great place…Good property manager….poor staff at resort

The condo was great and the property manager had good communication, however the staff at front desk and the security staff are extremely rude and have no people skills. The staff at snack bar and sno cone staff were very friendly.

Fear in paradise

Stayed while there was a shooting in the area both days and police everywhere. Groups of people making howling/hooting calls back and forth to each othe on balconies throughout the night. People in elevator and on floors without wristbands who appeared lurking/following for intimidation purposes. Police press conference statement issued was that they confiscated many weapons over the weekend. Probably will not be back despite the beautiful condo.

Condo condition was aged but clean. Had everything we needed. Great view of ocean, pool area, etc. Nice large balcony with plenty of seating. Would have liked local TV stations available as there were some disturbances and violence nearby, many spring breakers being arrested and guns confiscated. My wife didn't want to go out, etc. Also, was a pretty long walk from parking space (hard to find) to condo, so difficult for old people with bad backs. Beach was great, just too many people. Most likely won't return, not because of condo, but because didn't really love Panama City Beach area, especially with the guns and crazies,etc.

Property has really good beach access and the property has one of the best pools around. Also is next door to Pineapple Willys which is our favorite restaurant in the area.

Enjoyed Our Stay

The condo was really nice and clean, and we really enjoyed it. My only suggestions would be to supply more trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for the guests, as I had to go out and buy more of all of these. Also, the master bedroom really needs a curtain for the window. The blinds did not block out any of the morning sun, and the brightness of the room had us awake before 7 a.m. As for the resort, it's in a good location, and the outdoor pool was fantastic. On the downside, the parking deck is extremely tight, and the elevators (when working) are really slow. Overall, I would recommend this condo and resort, and we hope to stay here again in the future.
