Stunning property located inside the highly sought after private gated Monterey Country Club! This 2 bedroom is perfectly situated in a prime location boasting southern mountain views in a private park-like setting with an inviting pool and jacuzzi only steps away. The home is beautifully landscaped with a private courtyard and comfortable outdoor lounging space and BBQ. This spacious private property is fully furnished and ready for you to work, play and relax in the beautiful Cali desert!

You can't help but relax in this beautifully decorated home with everything that you need for your work and personal living. Central AC and heat plus ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room make for a comfortable stay. Work comfortably with beautiful work spaces (desk and chair) in each bedroom and in the dining room. Strong internet wi-fi and use of the bedroom 55 inch TVs as external monitors for the ideal office space! The living room has comfortable seating and boasts high ceilings and a 75 inch wall mounted TV with soundbar and surround sound for the ultimate in theatre viewing. Our kitchen includes all major appliances plus everything needed to home cook a fantastic meal. Indoor and outdoor dining dishes are available for your use. Coffee? Tea? We got you covered with a Nespresso coffee machine, regular drip coffee machine, and an electric tea kettle. Small coffee and tea samples provided, as well as sugar and creamer. A private courtyard with a BBQ, shaded seating and gas fire-pit is ready for you to use! An additional backyard patio with comfortable lounge chairs and outdoor dining patio set and umbrellas for taking in those mountain views and sunsets is set up for those perfect evenings. Keyless entry for your convenience to not worry about keys. The home is situated in one of the most private areas of the Monterey Country Club with an almost personal park-like setting backyard and pool feel!

Guest will have access to the entire condominium space, including garage. No access to locked cabinet space in garage used for our personal storage and supplies.

It is a very quiet and active community. Our home is perfect for maintaining safety and social distancing because of its security, private location and amenities. Our home is perfectly located near the famous College of the Desert weekend flea market, hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, and more. Many opportunities for active living with access to bike riding, walking, golf, tennis, hiking and more. The listing does not include access to the country club amenities such as golf, tennis, etc. The country club offers an immaculate 27 hole private golf course which is available to county club members only. Contact the country club for pricing on memberships.

Our home is central to many local amenities. Services such as UberEats, Postmates, etc. are available for food delivery. Trails for walking, biking, and hiking nearby abound. We have 2 bikes available for your personal use around the area and country club.

The Monterey is a private country club. There are membership packages available with the country club. Please inquire with them directly for pricing. There are also many other golf courses nearby.
Community hour quiet times are from 11pm-10am. Please be respectful of our neighbors (full time resident next door) and adhere to "good neighbor" policy as specified in city ordinance brochure provided.

No loud parties or excessive noise disturbances. If security/police are called due to a noise disturbance and a warning is not adhered due, the owner reserves the right to evict guests immediately without a refund. The Monterey Country Club has 24/7 security patrolling.

No smoking.

No illegal activity.

Pool hours are 6am-11pm and all pool rules must be followed as posted.

Occupancy limits must be adhered to, per city ordinance for permit. Maximum number of people at any one time in the property is 8, per city ordinance. (4 overnight registered guests, 4 day use only guest visitors).

Visitors to the property must be registered with security for day use only. Registered guests are fully responsible for the behavior of their guests.

Video surveillance at the front door through the doorbell.

Keyless entry code provided to registered guest. This code is not to be shared with anyone not registered as a guest.

Adhere to pet policy. $50 per dog will be added to the reservation. Only small/medium well-behaved dogs/breeds are permitted as pets upon approval of the owner. Registered guests are responsible for supervision of their pet at all times, pick up and dispose of dog waste immediately, dog must be on leash at all times when off property, and pet owner fully responsible for any damage to the property inside or out. Dogs may not be left in the unit (or in front or back patio) without supervision (unless in crate) to avoid property damage. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area per HOA. No excessive barking in or outside of unit is allowed. No cats allowed due to severe allergies.

Garage Access. Registered guests have access to use the garage with automatic door for personal use and parking. Guests are responsible for maintaining the garage door key, should keep it locked when off the property, and are also responsible for the automatic garage door opener. These will be provided at check in on the property and should be left on the property at check out. Lost keys or garage opener will result in additional charge.

For stays taking place on a Monday, registered guests are responsible for taking out the trash and recycle containers to the front curb by Monday morning 8am, and bringing the containers back in to the garage by the evening on the same day.

The Air Conditioner thermostat range should be at 70 degrees or higher for maximum energy efficiency during the stay. The security system sends smart alerts on thermostat reading under 70 degrees. The thermostat may also be "locked" into a range by the owner.

Access to club amenities (golf, tennis, fitness spa, etc.) require a club membership. Inquire with the Monterey Country Club for membership packages to purchase.

We provide access to 2 adult size bicycles/helmets for your personal use in our garage. Registered guests assume all liability if any injury takes place while use of bikes on or off property. Lost bikes/helmets or damage to bicycles will result in additional charge.

Follow all check out procedures before leaving the property. Leave the property in good condition as you found it. An additional cleaning charge will be added to guests leaving the property without following the check out procedure (excessive messiness, dirty, damage, etc.) An additional charge will be added for registered guests not checking out by the check out time. Extended checkouts must be requested in advance, and will be granted if our calendar allows it only and at an additional charge.

Failure to leave by the required check out date will result in eviction.

Not responsible for any personal items left at the property after check-out.

Before check in, owner will send a welcome guide and additional paperwork to be completed and signed that requires a copy of a government issued ID for the person that made the reservation, names and ages of each registered guest, and the make/model of vehicle and license plate number. This is per our HOA contract, and needed to add guests to our security check in gate for an entry and exit car pass.

A great property in a lovely, quiet community.
We rented this property to spend a few days enjoying the California desert, go to Joshua Tree National Park, and attend the ATP Tennis event. The weather wasn't great a good portion of our visit, but our time at this lovely place was very restful and pleasant. Although we were close to the courts, we could not really hear the pickleball groups in the morning and they didn't play all day, so the noise levels at the club were low. There was good privacy on the patio facing the pool, and the front courtyard offered even more privacy for enjoying the outdoors. The inside of the home was clean and generally well maintained. The bedding was extremely comfortable and the furnishings and amenities were just right. The community is beautiful and the neighbors were friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and we would return.

Perfect Paradise!
Emily was so great to work with and was responsive before and during our stay. We loved the back patio where we could gate our little dog in and the lawn around the patio was perfect for walking her. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Thanks Emily!

A most thoughtful host
Our first impression was that the host had thought of everything that would make our stay comfortable and convenient. It felt homey without being cluttered. The kitchen had everything one could want including coffee in several forms, tea makings, and even spices. The bathrooms had robes, soaps and lotions like an upscale hotel. Everything worked as described in the personalized booklet. The beds were comfortable and the whole condo felt quite spacious. Interactions with the host were handled promptly and with great consideration. If ever again in Palm Desert, this would be our place to stay.
