Welcome to Smith Lake! Recently remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin on Smith Lake with Pontoon and only minutes from town. This property has a nice lake lot that has low elevation and nice frontage. Smith lake is 323 acres with a maximum depth of 31 ft. and specializes in blue gill, crappie, northern pike, large mouth bass and walleye. Smith Lake is a great recreational lake being small enough to not have a lot of traffic but big enough to enjoy all lake recreation. The lake has a very nice Northwoods feel and is close to town allowing for easy access for your needs.

Interior Features- High Speed Internet, WiFi TV with Youtube TV, DVD Player with DVD's, AC and Heat, 2 Bedrooms with Queen Beds, Couch with Hidabed, Gas Stove, Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Maker, Crock Pot and Refrigerator(Dishes and Utensils included).

Exterior Features- 110' of private frontage, Sandy Beach Area(on right side of dock), Gas Grill, 10x20' Deck with Table, Firepit, Pontoon, Paddleboat, 40' Private Dock, On Site Garbage and Recycling.

Boat's- 18' Northwoods pontoon with 40hp Honda 4 Stroke Fuel Injected Motor. Anchor, Depth Finder, 8 Adult life jackets and Throw cushion are included. 2 Person Paddleboat also Included.

Smith lake cabin

Perfect little cabin with everything you need. Updated and very clean. The beds are ridiculously comfortable too! Great fishing opportunities on the lake as well. The owners are great people and easy to communicate with. Overall great experience @

Honeymoon

We loved ever part of our stay. The pontoon was really fun and easy to operate. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The hosts Comunidad well with us. It was beautiful!!

Charming cabin on the water front

Cabin was adorable, clean, close to town, host was very friendly and easy to reach when we had questions. Lake was beautiful and the provided pontoon was great to have for cruising on the water or doing a little fishing.

Very nice

We stayed 2 weeks in September this year. Was very pleasant. You could hear the road and had trouble finding the fish, none of the owners fault. We liked it.

beautiful cozy cabin

We loved the newly remodeled cabin and the pontoon boat was an added plus and the reason we rented. We love to fish and just enjoy being on the water. The cabin owners were very accomodating and we would recommend this cabin for to anyone who likes to fish and enjoy the water. The location was also great for running into town for any needs.

Great place and location

It was very clean. The pontoon boat is a very nice feature. The lake is great for crappie fishing. Close to town and the casino.

Relaxed

The cabin was cozy and clean. Lacked a few amenities but nothing that took any enjoyment out of the week. We would recommend this cabin for a nice quiet week. The pontoon boat was also a huge bonus.

Cute Cozy Convenient

Just what we were looking for. A beautiful 320 acre lake with good fishing. It's close to town. The cabin is small but all remodeled and located right along the water. It's great to have the pontoon boat included. We'll be back!

Clean cabin with pontoon

We enjoyed our time here! The owners were wonderful throughout the process. The cabin was very clean (great lighting) and comfortable. So close to the lake with easy access to the pontoon for fishing and cruising the lake which is easy to navigate. Also very close to town.

Great Cabin w/pontoon

We enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect little cabin. The cabin was stocked with basics and very clean. Also we had use of the pontoon, which is a huge plus for us. We fished everyday. Everything was great, as well as the communication. Will definitely book again and tell others about our stay! :)

Wonderful view & accomodations, close to Hayward

We loved our stay at this clean and well managed cabin. Our group of 3 enjoyed the comfort and amenities of the cabin. We loved the pontoon and used the fire pit to make S'mores. Lovely setting with all the comforts of home. During inclement weather we took advantage of nearby restaurants and shopping in Hayward. A perfect long weekend for us sisters! Would rent again - Jon the owner was attentive and available for questions. Thank you, we loved it!

Nice cabin…good fishing!

We had 4 family members all over age 60. The place was a bit smaller then expected as we could not all relax and watch tv together at night. There just isn’t available seating. The only other small thing is it would be great to have a screen door. We really had to work on fly control! But we had good fishing and great Star watching. Thank you…would recommend and thanks for the use of the pontoon!

Couple getaway

The property was exactly as listed. Updated and very clean. We enjoyed the deck, cooking on the grill and enjoying our dinner on the deck looking out at the lake. Having the pontoon was a great plus. John is a great host.

After moving to the twin cities I realized that I needed a getaway which led me to the Hayward area. After enjoying the area for years we loved it so much that we decided to live here full time. This property is one of my favorite and has just a great feel to it. I hope your family will like this property as much as we do, and that it brings you and your family great memories.

This property is one of the original Smith lake Resort Cabins that we have brought back to life. It is on a great lot, great lake and has awesome views. I believe anyone renting will fall in love with the cabin and lake. Being close to town makes it a quick easy task to go in for supplies.
