La Colina is a private oasis just minutes from the center of Tamarindo, one of the liveliest beach communities in Costa Rica. You will get an amazing room with us on the second floor! Each spacious apartment has one or two bedrooms, living room, balcony and fully equipped kitchen. All of our apartments offer the option of air-conditioning, ceiling fans or the natural freshness of the ocean breeze. Sun decks and fragrant gardens surround our sparkling pool.
Every evening, as you relax on your private balcony, the tropical sun seems to set just for you.
Located in the hills overlooking Bahia Tamarindo, each of our luxury apartments has a panoramic view of the National Marine Park, lush estuaries, and miles of sandy beaches.

Perfect distance from the main street.

The balcony and it's view of the ocean and sunsets was wonderful! It was also great for watching the birds and black monkeys in the trees. It was wonderful to have the air conditioning. It could have used a few more cooking utensils like a cheese grater. The lady who did the cleaning was very friendly and efficient.

Firstime Costa Rica

Our accomodations were a good value and our host a nice person who was helpful and accomodating.Not a big fan of Tamarindo but this is not a reflection of the accomodations.Too many amateur surfers ruining the swimming experience, retaurants are too expensive for the most part US prices hey thought I was in Central America?

Good location

Location was very good with great view of the ocean. Condo was very dated. Overall was good but not what we expected from the description. Host and staff was very hands off and not much if any change communication.

Not Whats Advertised!

First, i really hate giving negative feedback. Especially on vacation. My wife and i tryvto see the good in everything we encounter. So, with that said, the good about the place was the location to the water. It was about a 3 minute drive to the beach and about a 10 to 15 min walk. The pool was clear. Aside from those 2 i have to say i cannot recommend this place. First , it us waaaaay overpriced. I spent that much due to the lack of jnventory when i booked. Wayyyyyy overpriced.... Second, the place is off of a treacherous road off the main road. If you have a car to get there good luck and drive slow. Then, when you get there it look like acrundown apartment building with abandoned cars in the carport. The parking spaces used to ge for some othher rooms or something. Everything looks old, worn and ready to fall commumication with the property manager is average at best. When we checked in he said someone was there to help us. We arrived a littke early, we tried to notify him hours earlier, but got no response. Noone was there to help. We waited over 30 min in the sun and heat. When the "owner" showed up he wasca geumpy old german man who talked to me like i owe him something..... rude.... He gave the key to our room and had some strange guy carry our bags to our room. The room: WAS NOT THE ROOM ADVERTISED! VIEW WAS NOT THE SAME! ROOM WAS PAINTED AND DECORATED DIFFERENTLY! IT WAS PAINTED LIKE THE JUNGLE BOOK MOVIE ! VIEW OF WATER IS BLOCKED BY TREES power

First time to Costa Rica

Oh wow is all I can say. The location of this property to the beach was amazing. So close. Woke up every morning to drinking coffee, staring at the ocean view. Clean. Felt so safe. Manager was kind and accessible. I would definitely stay at this property again. Highly recommended!! Puravida!!
