This 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath luxury home is located in beautiful Log Hill, a scenic 15-minute drive from Ridgway and 50-minutes from Telluride.

Step into the open concept floor plan, perfect for families or groups to gather. Complete with a granite kitchen island, gourmet kitchen, adjoining dining area, living area, rock-face wood fireplace and Smart TV. During the summer months stay cool and comfortable with the newly installed air conditioning.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Cimarron and Sneffels Mountain ranges in the expansive outdoor living space, with a gas grill and mountain-inspired outdoor furniture. It is the perfect retreat to bask in the cool mountain air, take in the plentiful views, and create a base camp for all of your mountain adventures. There is also a trail for residents and guests only out the back door that meanders several miles throughout the entire Log Hill Village area with amazing views.

Guests are welcome to park up to one regular-size vehicle on the left side of the garage and one regular size vehicle or one 14-foot trailer in the overflow parking across from the garage.

ABOUT THE AREA
Nestled at nearly 8,000 feet, Log Hill Mesa, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park or music in Ridgway's Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray and Ridgway! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

A house to remember

Every year we rent a cabin somewhere in Colorado and this was the first time any of us have been in this part of the state. We loved it. And the house is our favorite out of about 20 cabins. The view. The view. The view. And it's perfect if you're hoping to visit Telluride, Black Canyon, and the Million Dollar Highway. There are some things that are dated/broken (outdoor umbrellas, working lighter for the fire) but overall it was an incredible experience.

Amazing view of sneffles range - atop a cliff Property was very nice but a bit dated View probably can’t be beat and is on par with telluride views of mt Wilson from above the airport

Exceptional Views!

This home is an incredible find! The views are breathtaking and the home is well-equipped for guests. Easy access to Ridgway, Ouray, and Montrose for shopping and restaurants and the nearby reservoir is fantastic for paddle-boarding and spending the day connecting with nature. We count this as one of our new favorite spots in Colorado!!!

The only thing is there is no A/c and at nights we would close the door because I was nervous leaving it open all night. The bedrooms would get quite warm. During the day we could open up the doors and the wind coming in was very good. I would of Love bigger fans, This would of helped keep the rooms cooled down.

Wonderful house - out of this world views

We cooked most of our meals at the house and was really able to sit back and enjoy all the views. The stairs to the upstairs are windy so probably not for the elderly or kids. A huge plus was getting to bring our dogs. The view out the back is incredible of the valley below. Enjoyed day trips to Telluride and Ouray. The "neighborhood" is very quiet. We did the hike near the house. It was warmer when we were there, which made the house warm without AC. Even with fans, it was difficult to sleep as it didn't cool down enough. Overall, would highly recommend this house.

Stunning View, Nice Kitchen but old and creepy

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were rebooked to this cabin due to internet issues at our first cabin. The good: This cabin had a stunning view, like nothing I have ever seen. The new and updated kitchen was awesome and the living room had a great fireplace. The view made the rest of the issues somewhat tolerable.When we walked in there was a horrible smell, like old lunchmeat. The master bedroom also had a smell like something died in the wall. The bathrooms on the main floor were old, moldy, rusty and like mini concentration camps. Just bad, scary and gross. Luckily we found respite in the upstairs loft bathroom.Lights would turn on and off sporadically just giving an overall spooky vibe.The location was great, view wise and 15 min from town. The rental company staff were wonderful to work with and so kind and accommodating to get us into this cabin, it's a shame it wasn't a better experience. We would not stay at this property again unless the bathrooms were remodeled and we were armed.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are terribly sorry that your stay at our vacation home wasn't a pleasant one. It is our goal to ensure each of our homes provides a welcoming and comfortable experience for every one of our guests! We have done several walk throughs since your stay, and it seems there is no longer an odor anywhere in the home. I am not sure what it was, but we will certainly keep that at the top of our radar. We have also tried to duplicate the electrical issues, with no success, so we have scheduled an electrician to take a look. We certainly understand your concerns with the darkness in the shower, and will also talk with the electrician about enhancing the lighting. While we couldn't find any mold in the showers or the surrounding areas, we do understand the darkness of the showers doesn't provide a clean and refreshing feeling as a bathroom should. We will do our best to enhance these features of the home to allow our guests to feel comfortable and have a wonderful experience at our vacation home in Ridgway. You are absolutely right, the views from this home are like no others! We thank you again for you time, and truly hope to host you at one of our homes in the future!

Overall great experience with this rental. House was well stocked and location above Ridgeway was perfect with the most amazing views. Loved the neighborhood it was in, and still lots of privacy. Also a great place to go for a walk!

Great view, loft is not a bedroom

The view is absolutely incredible! Loved the large, fully equipped kitchen and the spacious great room. And the jetted tub was great! The loft area should not be advertised as a bedroom - it has 2 twin beds but is completely open to the rest of the house so unless all the adults want to sit in silence at 8pm when the kids go to bed, it's not a great sleeping area for them.

Good but not great

The property manager was extremely responsive and did do their best to meet our every need. The views are some of the best Colorado has to offer! The house has an ongoing issue with hard water, leaving a residue on all of the dishes which is very off-putting. The built in microwave/oven was not working. While the property manager did send someone out (we weren’t there so they didn’t go in) I also did a search in the error code and it said it wasn’t repairable. This made me think that perhaps they are aware of the issue. Especially because they have a microwave and toaster oven on the counter next to the unit. I will say they allowed us to use the oven in the rental that is above the garage but it was definitely not ideal. The house wasn’t super clean. It could be that Inotice things more than others but

Hello Elizabeth, Thank you for your detailed feedback on the property you recently visited. I'm so sorry things were not ideal for you while you visited the area. The wall oven honestly just failed due to a circuit board. The toaster oven has always been there, and the microwave since the home accommodates many guests. JennAir has confirmed the part is available and on its way, so it is repairable; otherwise, we'd purchase a new wall unit. The current one is only three years old and under warranty, just for background information. When our technician arrived as we said he would, there were two large dogs with nobody home. Thus the decision not to enter the home, not knowing how'd the dogs respond to a stranger. The dishes are brand new. Unfortunately, the entire area has some water quality issues; it's not due to the dishwasher. Since that is out of our control, we have a water softener or filtration system to be added to the home to overcome this concern. We certainly hope you enjoyed your visit, even with these issues at hand; in hindsight, I should have offered to move you elsewhere once you notified me of the oven unit malfunctioning. Once again, thank you for the opportunity to host you and your group. We would enjoy having you visit again, perhaps at another location.

Stunning autumn scenery!

Our weekend reunion getaway was originally scheduled foe April...but due to COVID we rescheduled for October. I’m glad that we did because the autumn view was stunning from the patio area of the house. The house is beautiful and just right for our family. We’ll be back!

Stellar views

Great location, roomy house, but confusing management and puzzling architectural details. Why am I receiving this second review form? Why did I receive two different entry procedures? It's as if there are two different property managers who are not talking to each other. This property would be ideal for a married couple (master suite) with a teenager (upstairs via the tight spiral staircase) and two energetic pre-teens (up the steep ladder to the loft). Not so hot for two retired couples with bad knees and poor vision (completely dark showers). And I wouldn't take toddlers there (no fenced area in back yard, just a straight drop down the cliff). Lovely views and beautiful night sky, very quiet and peaceful.

Outstanding experience; The view is even better than advertised!

We thorougly enjoyed this house. It's location was the perfect combination - secluded but close to spots we wanted to go to - Telluride, Ouray, Black Canyon. The house had plenty of room for 6 adults and one infant and was well equipped. The view from this house is unbelievable. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Golf Vacation

The house was beautiful. Perfect arrangement. Had a great trip and would recommend for any family traveling.

Breathtaking views and beautiful home

We loved this property so much, we decided to extend our stay. The views are unparalleled and the home is lovely. This location is perfect for day trips to Ouray, Telluride and the Black Canyon, not to mention the adorable nearby town of Ridgway. We look forward to returning soon!

Autumn in the San Juan Mountains

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very good week long visit, staying in Log Hill Village. We know the area well and enjoy the outdoor activities available. The home was very clean and well equipped. We took advantage of the great gas grill and beautiful outdoor patio, dining outside six of our seven nights there. We walked the “Escarpment Trail” daily, enjoying wonderful views of the Sneffels Range as well as the wildlife. If you value peace and quiet, Log Hill Village can’t be beaten. Overall we had a great experience.

Lovely Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this lovely property for two nights in August. The home is beautiful and the views are majestic. A couple of things that might have improved our stay: 1) Coffee. I forgot to bring any, and I only found whole beans but no grinder or filters. 2) I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the beds were very hard and not comfortable. That was disappointing for such an elegant property. 3) The outdoor furniture was in disarray and no cushions were put out, and the wood is very splintery so we weren't happy to sit outside. This was a shame because the view is so amazing. 4) It would have been nice to know where the neighborhood hiking trails were. We looked around for any information or a map, but ended up just walking around the neighborhood rather aimlessly trying to find the trails. Also any guidance in terms of local restaurants would have been a bonus. Lastly, we struggled with the apple tv and how to get signed in to watch anything on regular tv. A little guidance on that would have been helpful. Overall the property is really fantastic and the kitchen is especially stunning.

We were happy to hear that several components of your stay were to your liking, but are sorry to hear that others were not. We are sure sorry to hear the beds weren't to your liking. This home was recently renovated and furnished. All of the beds were newly purchased as part of this process and are less than 6 months old. The mattresses are of a firmness specifically selected by the owner based on their personal preference, and to address back issues. Based on your feedback and the feedback from other guests, if the firmness is not to a guests' liking, plush mattress toppers are provided for guest use during their stay. We also recently replaced the rustic-style outdoor furniture with a new outdoor patio set with comfy cushions that are perfect for taking in the unbeatable view you noted. It's a shame that it wasn't in place prior to your stay but rest assured it will be in place when you return to stay with us. Please know that we are only a phone call or email away and are always happy to provide suggestions on a full range of concierge services -- area activities, hiking trails, restaurants, etc. We are delighted to assist so you can enjoy the full extent of your vacation! The trail head for the escarpment path begins at the end of the driveway. Next time you stay with us, please give us a call, we're happy to point you in the right direction and get you out exploring the local trails. We provide guests with a range of property instructions using our Glad to Have You app or as a PDF, including the apple TV instructions. The app also provides convenient access to local restaurant recommendations through Yelp. If the app isn't your cup of tea, we would be glad to provide guidance on the best restaurants and local favorites the next time you stay. We greatly appreciate your feedback and look forward to hosting you again in our home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful. Couple issues though, was not aware there is a tenant living in the property and would not have booked had I known. also, the beds were terrible. Did not sleep well because of this.

Thanks so much for your feedback relative to your recent stay with Ouray Premier Vacation Rentals. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. As noted in the property listing, there is a caretaker who lives on-site in a separate livings space, with a completely separate entrance. The two units - the primary home and the accessory apartment - are separated by a two car garage and there is no common or shared space. Given the physical separation between the two units, most guests don't encounter the caretaker during their stay and find this is a non-issue. We are sorry to hear the beds weren't to your liking. This home was recently renovated and furnished. All of the beds were newly purchased as part of this process and are less than 6 months old. The mattresses are medium firmness to appeal to the widest variety of guests. If you're accustom to a mattress that is ultra firm or even soft, the medium firm mattress may be a different experience than you're accustom.
