This property is a Myrtle Beach landmark and features an expansive pool deck with indoor and outdoor pools. On-site you will find the Ground Floor Cafe, proudly serving Starbucks and sweet treats. Indigo Coastal Kitchen on the second floor is open for breakfast and dinner. Hours vary by season. During our warmest months, we open our pool bar during our warmest months and schedule live entertainment on the pool deck.

THINGS TO KNOW
Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children's Activities - This program is available at Patricia Grand and Bay Watch from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Great Vacation!!

Our room was very nice. Pretty view of the ocean. Staff was very helpful. On one say we had extremely loud construction noise. Drilling and pounding. That did ruin one day.

Disappointing

The view from the unit was amazing; however, you can see right into other units and they can see into yours, so there’s not much privacy. The unit was dirty - hair in the bathroom sink, bathtub, around the toilet; dog hair on the kitchen cabinets along with something sticky; sand on the floor (the least of the problems as it is to be expected to a certain degree); the door handles, sinks and bathtub handles, telephone, and remote were all dirty (bad with the supposed extra cleaning because of COVID); the lamps were rusty; and there was mold and mildew on the drapes and all of the furniture, to the point that we had to change rooms due to my girlfriend’s allergies going crazy. Staff was not friendly, with the exception of two of the front desk staff and one of the housekeeping staff. Building is in need of maintenance and cleaning. Elevators are gross and there is vandalism in at least one. The hot tubs were so yellowed they looked like hot urine. The parking garage was tight, which we were expecting; however, what we were not expecting was several vehicles taking up multiple spots (including handicap spots- which are not regulation) and no security whatsoever. This was a surprise trip for my girlfriend’s birthday and she was miserable (the room we were moved to was no better and her allergies were awful when we were in the rooms - making it impossible for her to sleep). A complete waste of money. We will not stay here again nor would we recommend it to our worst enemy.

Pretty dirty

The room it self had the potential of being nice, but it was very dirty everywhere my feet were black after walking in it for a few minutes I had to end up wearing my shoes constantly in the room. The walls and stuff had stuff al over them the curtains and lights had dust bunnies from 5 years of collecting it looked like on top of the air conditioner that’s blowing it all over your room. The curtains had mildew or mold all over the entire bottom when I called to complain basically told it happens and they only get clean every so often. The hotel Had potential to be great but there housekeeping lacks severely.

New LVP floors in unit hadn't been mopped or cleaned in a while and were filthy. We wiped them down I er and over with a towel (which is now brown), and finally got rid of the slime and stickiness. Otherwise a nice unit. Can't believe you do not have at least one handicap ramp to get to the beach.

Updated but dirty

We love The Patricia Grand and are loyal annual visitors. We’ve always had good experiences. However, the unit 1022 was updated, but dirty. The hvac unit was covered with dust and there was dirt and a bottle cap below it. The paint was damaged, there were signs of mold or mildew on the furniture and rust on the light fixtures. This is hopefully something rare as we intend on returning to The Patricia Grand for our November week getaway next year. Note.. the restaurant is incredibly good. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, and Stacey who has been helping us for years is awesome.

Vacation

Review

I did love the view and the comfort of the room. It didn’t seem as clean as the other couple times we have stayed. Other than that, I was pretty satisfied.

Dirty room, condescending staff

Clumps of hair in bathroom and popcorn on balcony when I arrived. Key card demagnetized if you looked at it wrong. Front desk staff lacked customer service skills, though housekeeping and maintainence were friendly in elevators. Survey text from corporate office asked about cleanliness and when I told them and sent pics, they promised to call staff but no one came to the room- until the day I checked out. I paid for late check out, but at 9:45 and 10:15 staff came knocking to see if I was checking out and they could clean for next guest. Bad experience and wouldn’t recommend.

Nice shore views & lots of conveniences

This was perfect for a couple (too small for a family). Staff is very nice. Lots of amenities on site -- including tons of pooldeck. Parking is super easy. This is one of the few dog-friendly beachfront properties in the area, so there is a canine vibe.

Preferred Accommodations

I always have a pleasant experience at the Patricia Grand. It’s always clean and the service is A+! The location is convenient to the many shops and restaurants in the area. I’d definitely recommend this location.
