Along the route Lincoln walked to the National Cemetery, 2 blocks from the center square and a short walk to the Steinwehr Ave district, the National Park, or a multitude of dining options. There is a trolley stop across the street at the Library for the 3 main historic routes. On lot parking available behind the house from High St. Bedrooms, full kitchen, and bathroom. Great location. Surrounded by Churches. Short walk to National Park, .4 mile in multiple directions. .5 miles to Gettysburg College, 11 miles to Ski Liberty Resort, 14 miles to great hiking along the Appalachian Trail to the west and north. 7 miles to Apple County USA.

Great little place

Accomodations were perfect. The space is welll kept and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the linens were fresh. The kitchen with stocked with everything you needed from pots to pans to dinnerware.

Girls’ Weekend

Super cute place. Felt very safe. Within walking distance to most things. Did not get check in information until 1-2 hours after check in. But I feel like that was an anomaly. The owners were otherwise very responsive and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. And I would highly recommend this VRBO.

Lovely Apartment in Downtown Gettysburg

Walk to pretty much everything there is to see. Wonderful home, small but perfect for a small family or single person to stay and enjoy.

Christmas Charm

The location is perfect if you want to be near the happenings of town but not in the middle of the busininess. Cozy set up is perfect for 3-4 people. Everything was clean and orderly ready to set up and relax.

Tidy place

It was nice but on a busy road with lots of traffic noise. The street cleaner was very loud and went by several times. Other than that, the place was clean and comfortable

Super Fun Family Weekend

We were so super excited for our family weekend getaway in Gettysburg! The apartment was PERFECT! We were able to park our car and walk to everything! The location was in the middle of everything and we walked to everywhere in town. The only time we used our car was when we explored the Devil's Den and the Sach's Covered Bridge. Absolutely loved the apartment just could benefit with getting some new pillows for the beds! We would definitely stay here again! defi

Weekend Anniversary Trip

Fri- Sunday Stay. We try a new place every 3-4 months at Gettysburg and found this within all the places we love. It was clean and big enough for us. Bed was way too soft and there was street noise but the location , cleanliness and overall safe location was great. We will be back.

Not quite what we hoped for

I had to reach out to the host to get the check-in information and directions on how to enter the property. We arrived after 9 pm to a property that hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. After contacting the host, we were given information where to find clean linens and towels. He offered to have the cleaning company come and clean the property, but that would have taken an hour and we just wanted to go to bed. We emptied the garbage and changed the linens. There were no instructions on how to operate the mini-split that provided the cooling and heating. I never did get it figured out using the remote. While I was understanding that the host is a distance away from the property and he doesn't always know if a unit has been cleaned, I was disappointed he offered no monetary compensation for our situation. I certainly didn't expect our whole stay to be reimbursed, it would have meant a lot to me had he offered some remuneration. We also didn't realize that we would hear as much street noise as we did at the property. We didn't get much sleep, unfortunately. The mattress was not very comfortable and the pillows were almost completely flat. We won't be returning to this property.

Wonderful location!

My husband and I just spent four days at this beautiful historic apartment right in the middle of Gettysburg. The apartment was clean and it was very charming! There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby that are within walking distance. It was fantastic!

Great location in the ❤️ of Gettysburg

Spent a week with my young adult children while dropping one off for College. Location is perfect, walking distance to shops and restaurants and also the Battlefield. Will stay here again!

Middle of downtown

Location was great! Within walking distance of the roundabout in one direction and the ghost tours and shops in the other. Home was clean and well maintained. Beds were firm. Huge bathroom. Couldn't hear other tenants. Would stay here again for the price, location, and convenience

Gettysburg getaway

Great little property to stay. Close to many attractions, town square, restaurants. Such a fun little town to visit. My only concern way the security of the doors in the rental. Rear outside door lock was busted and inside from the bedroom wasnt real secure. Contacted property manager about the busted lock and no response the whole trip
