Surround yourself with all the comforting amenities that await you at BearSlide Inn. Every little attention to detail has been thought of to enhance your stay. Book this cabin and enjoy your favorite beverage in the six-person hot tub as you melt away life’s stress. Swing or rock to the soothing sounds of the mountains while sitting out on either of the two levels of decks admiring nature. Enjoy an evening of games such as pool, air hockey, foosball, or darts.
All the modern comforts of home are available in the well-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. Fix a meal out on the grill and enjoy eating on the back deck while watching for wildlife. Toss a load of laundry in the stacked washer/dryer and take your clothes home clean. Take a dip at the seasonal swimming pool or enjoy access to the stocked fishing pond at the bottom of the road. WIFI and cable flat-screen TVs are also available.
Inside, vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, a two-level wall of windows, and wood crafted furniture add to the adorable bear décor that fills this home. This spacious cabin can sleep up to 9 guests. The main-floor master bedroom features a king-size bed with an attached en-suite bathroom. A queen sleeper sofa also is available on the first level. Upstairs in the large loft is a queen handcrafted log bed, additional queen sleeper sofa, gaming area, and a second full bathroom with a large garden/soaking tub. A second upstairs loft area is accessible by ladder and features a twin bed for an additional child.
Considered the quiet side of the mountain, BearSlide Inn is located in the prestigious Preserve Resort. It is close to all the local Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, Cades Cove, and Great Smoky Mountain National Park treasured activities, but away from the hustle-bustle of town. The Preserve resort is one of the closest resort areas to Cades Cove and offers access into the park from two locations within minutes. Paved, well-maintained roads lead up to this cabin that offers the best of it all in a mountain escape. Beautiful relaxing comfort awaits you.

Pet Policy: Small dog friendly only. Maximum 2 dogs. Must be housebroken and limited to 25lbs ea. (No Exceptions) There is a non-refundable pet fee applied at booking. Please remember that our furry family members can act out of character when in a new environment. Please bring a kennel or enclosure to house your pet when you are not in the cabin with them. Also, pets should refrain from relaxing on the furniture.

Absolutely amazing stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay here was absolutely amazing! The cabin was so cozy, and so well decorated. It made our autumn stay in the mountains so cozy. The hot tub was absolutely amazing and a great way to end a day of walking or hiking, and was perfect with the weather. The Mountain View’s off the balcony were absolutely breathtaking. It was so surreal to eat breakfast on the balcony with such epic views. All amenities were there, and we loved having all the options for games. The washer/dryer worked perfectly and with a child were much needed on our trip. Thank you for making this stay so perfect and enjoyable! We can’t wait to come back and will be staying at bear slide Inn again.

Great Little Getaway!

This home was away from the hustle and bustle of town and really afforded us a nice getaway! The view from the cabin is beautiful and as we drove up and down the mountain, we saw several bears (including a mom and her cubs!). The cabins amenities were great for our kids, including the games, arcade game, pool table, etc. The hot tub was really nice also. The house was clean and included all the kitchen items we needed to prepare our meals at home. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this home to a friend!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bear Tracts staff were very helpful. Cabin was clean and stocked well. However the cabin needs some work. My 85 year old mother slept in king bed which headboard on the window side and wind was blowing through on her. She then slept at the foot of the bed to prevent getting sick. A lot of the windows throughout the cabin were drafty the high ones upstairs where I slept when the wind would blow the blinds were moving. The back deck needed some repair and the oven looked old and dirty so we did not cook in the oven while we were there. Some of the cooking pots that were Teflon coated were in real bad shape. We didn’t want to use those so we used the stainless ones that were provided. You also had to watch that first step coming into the cabin on the front porch. It was sunk in to the concrete had to really make sure my mom got in OK and out. All in all we had a good stay, but the cabin needs a few upgrades. Also one of the remotes for the TV had no batteries. The other one that had batteries didn’t work and then the skinny remote for the Samsung TV is the one we had to use in order to watch TV. instructions for the hot tub and the TV need to be updated and reviewed.

July 2024 Stay

This cabin bear slide inn was ok first time staying with this company bear tracts the pool is located by driving we were hoping walking distance 2. The air hockey table was broken dart board didn’t work couldn’t watch tv local had no access to any stations or apps , some of the lights inside were out , the blinds you could see through the windows , lot of the games like pool table fooseball air hockey couldn’t use cause the were no balls or they were taped up and broke ,bed pillows were not that great , beds were ok , cabin was clean location was lot farther out 20/25 mins to town refrigerator wasn’t very cold we had to buy our own ice every day for 1200.00 for the week it was ok

The cabin was clean, cool in temperature, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The game room was so cool, the hot tub was used every night. Only minor inconvenience was the front door code was 10 digits long and the door locked every time it shut. I tried to change the code with directions provided but it didn’t work, not a huge deal.

Minor issues: 1. Upstairs TV control missing batteries and back cover. 2. Need instructions on use of TV’s. 3. 2nd floor balcony missing one spindle and another was hanging on tread. Significant hazard especially for small children. 4. 2nd floor jacuzzi jet directional control fell out with each use. 5. Entrance railing rotting and is a hazard. 6. Access codes for property gym and pool did not work. Property manager was MIA. 7. Cleanliness could be improved. 8. There are significant areas of scratches on the floors, doors,, and walls. 9. Dryer vent/lint basket was not attached, replacing did not work…it fell out again. 10. All three external doors are sticking. 11. Windows were filthy. 12. Upon arriving the hot tub water source was leaking onto the first floor deck. On positive note. 1. Location was good. 2. Creature sightings included:,17 bear, 10 elk, 1boar, 4 deer, and many turkeys, 3. The A/C worked…temps in 90’s. 4. Honeysuckle Meadow facilities were great. 5. Very quiet neighborhood. 6. Excellent views of sunrise from pavilion. 7. Hot tub, Games, loft, were fun for all. 8. Park was exceptional. 9. Bear decor was adorable. 10. Supplies provided were adequate. The Dyga family.

This is the first stay with Bear Tracts as the management and they performed well Their last company "VACASA" was horrible even though the cabin was great. I believe they have turned a corner with this new company. The only negative was that never before had we had issues with storage. All closets and dressers were completely full with cabin items. The master closet was locked from access. This forced us to live out of a suitcase and nowhere to hang clothes up the entire stay. Never before was this a problem and as I said we have been staying in this same unit over a decade. Having to lay clothes all over which needed to hang and leave items in suitcase was not what we expected. If you plan on renting here just be aware of the storage issue. I would still come here but pack differently in anticipation of this.

And really nice cabin. But it does need a lot of cleaning. There was dust in lot of furniture. And toilet was not clean either there was hair and stain around the seat. So that really need to be clean for next guest. But over that the view was nice

Overall a nice cabin. The bed in the loft would not work for anyone besides a small child and the mattress doesn’t stay on the frame well at all. We ended up having that child sleep on the couch. There was also lots of bay or rodent poop all over the porches that I had to sweep off before we could even step foot on it so the kids would one track it in.

July 2023 Stay

This cabin is beautiful and we loved all the bear decorations. It has everything you need. We got to see a bear walking by under the deck. That was pretty cool. It was my myself, my husband and our two grandkids. My two grown children ended up not getting to come. We would definitely love to come back. My grandkids loved the game room upstairs. My husband and I mostly stayed on the first floor except to go up to the hot tub or play a game with the grandkids. This cabin is very close to everything. It was also very nice getting a free ticket daily to many attractions. We got to experience many things. Highly recommend this cabin. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

While arriving and entering the cabin looked even better than pictures. The property was clean and the views are breathtaking. My family loved the pool table, Pac-Man and darts upstairs. The hot tub was amazing and saw a ton of bears on the property. The location is great quiet and away from the busy parts of town, but still super close. The owners are always quick to respond and if you get a chance to stay here do it! We will be back for sure!! Best family trip ever!! The

Disappointing

Cabin is older, lots of damage, scratches everywhere furniture very old and worn. jacuzzi does not work (was told by maintenance "hasn't worked for a while, needs parts") yet picture of it is in the listing. Hot tub was foaming with some kind of soap, someone came to clean it. Everything is very loud, was expecting a quiet restful week but hot tub motor runs all the time, loud, sometimes vibrating the entire cabin. Precariously on second floor balcony, deck shook at one point. Very unsettling. Beds are very old, very squeeky. Pool table is very old, broken. Neighborhood had nothing in walking distance, not even hiking trails. I asked to speak with management about the broken jacuzzi but no one replied. Fireplace is gas. Disappointing rental.

The location was great the view was fantastic we stayed in another cabin before on that street also before that’s why we booked another cabin although they are managed by different companies. This place Was nice a little to much bear decor but our main issue was that there were lots of rugs and not secure on the floor they slid around and I had my 75 yr old father whom has Parkinson’s and he kept tripping And sliding on the rugs and the rug under the dinning room is a bit old so the edges are flipped up slightly and he fell that. The other rugs I moved until we left so that was ok and I did have to clean a little when we got there the table and some dishes that were in the cabinet. Windows where filthy also but I Wasn’t spending my vacation cleaning. I just felt Like I should have not paid the cleaning charge when I had to clean after the last person
