Wraparound Balcony provides Gorgeous Gulf Views from Every Room

From its wraparound balcony, the condo features unparalleled views of the Gulf. Occupants can see up and down the beach from sunrise to sunset. The ocean is visible from all rooms and each bedroom has direct access to the balcony. Our family purchased this unit because it was our favorite in well over a decade of visiting the area.

The unit is located on the 7th floor. It is a corner unit so it has a broader view than many condos. The complex has private access to the beach.

The condominium can comfortably host 8 occupants. The master bed has a king bed. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom features a bunk bed, with a twin bed on top and a full-sized bed on bottom. There is also a full sized trundle bed available. The family room includes a sleep sofa.

The entire condominium complex is undergoing a renovation. Building B, where our unit is located, completed renovations in June 2024. Building A will complete renovations in May 2025. The outdoor pool is closed until that time. The indoor pool remains open. There is still easy access to the beach.

Place was clean. Right on the beach.

Had a wonderful week staying here. Each room has access to the balcony. Extra beach stuff to use in the closet. Owner was great at communicating. Would definitely stay here again.

Family Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The balcony is wonderful, views are outstanding. Condo had all that we needed. Beds were comfortable. Good seating around the pool. Easy walk to the beach. The hosts were very communicative and informative. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfortable and close to the beach

The condo was great for our family of 5, excellent proximity to the beach. Comfortable with nice rooms for all, ideal balcony and well supplied kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, helpful and proactive communication by hosts. Overall a great vacation!

Spectacular Spring Break

Our family had a wonderful stay in Orange Beach! The condo was just what we needed and provided incredible views. The location was ideal and offered easy access to shopping, restaurants, and fun. We will definitely return!

Yearly vacation for my family. The building was being renovated so it looked rough. There was limited parking because of the work crews and several spots were blocked off. We had to park across the street several times. The condo needs renovation also!!! The owners were very nice and offered me a refund and I appreciated that.

Awesome Sunrise & Sunset Views

Check in, grocery shop for things you will need for your stay, return to your home away and go to the beach or maybe relax on the large wraparound balcony and watch the dolphins. This condo has what you need to cook if you want to, comfy beds and plenty of room to enjoy your stay. The beach is only steps away. The owners were great to work with. Thank You for sharing your beach condo!

Phenomenal Condo

The balcony and owners make this condo THE place to stay in Orange Beach. I cannot say enough about the views!!!! Every room has one, plus a door, to the wrap around balcony. Plenty patio furniture for everyone to sit out with morning coffee and even eat out. Location is perfect and walking distance to a few shops. Michael is friendly and very communicative! You will not regret booking here!

Beautiful corner unit

Our family of 6 had plenty of space in this beautiful condo. The flow of the condo along with views and balcony access from every room, set this unit apart from other units on the beach. The complex has a nice indoor pool and a very large hot tub. We found everything we needed (groceries, restaurants, mini golf) within 5 minutes of the condo. The owner was very responsive to questions before and during our stay. We have rented many beach condos, this unit rates at the top of our list.

The corner space was perfect for my elderly parents. They had a nice breeze in the heat of July and got to see the 4th of July fireworks from every side. The Stewart’s were very responsive when I asked questions. The condo was comfortable including the beds. That is always a MUST. We will be back to this condo. My sister owns one in this building so we for sure will be back to visit this comfortable condo. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our Family 4th of July 2023

Great Family Vacation!

Beautiful view! This property was as described… our description: Lovely! The wrap around balcony makes for a more spacious feel than it already has. We had 5 people and it was comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the showers work well, the elevators to the complex are fast! We are a family that does not eat out so we always bring extra kitchen gear. If this describes you, then, yes bring the things you need. Kitchen gear seems adequate for people who just cook breakfast, snack lunch, eat dinner out (which I think describes most people?). I highly recommend this condo for your get away!

Family and Birthday trip

We have not been able to go on vacation for about 2 years. This was our first vacation with all our kids AND it was my 40th birthday! Everything was perfect, the view was more than amazing. The unit was clean and up to date. Lots of extra things to use also! Plenty of space, our kids are 17/18/23 The hosts stayed in constant communication even when I lost my wallet at one point. The building was safe and easy to navigate. Easy walk to the beach. We will definitely be back! Thank you for wonderful memories!

OBA 2022 Family Vaca

We rented this condo for our summer family vacation and it was perfect! The condo was clean, filled with everything we needed for cooking, cleaning and even beach toys and chairs! The views are perfect! Every room has a amazing view of the ocean. The balcony has a table with 6 chairs plus a lounge couch with table and chair!! Elevators were fast, easy to assess! The property owner reached out shortly after booking and gave his direct cell to us for any needs they might arise, and text us the arriving day to reassure us to message with any needs and then messaged us our departing day for safe travels! Owners are a 10!!!!! We rate this condo. 10/10 and will definitely book in the future!

family friendly and awesome balcony!

We love our stay here! The balcony was awesome! The condo is clean and perfect size for our family of 6. We cooked most meals at the condo. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The owner provided games as well as beach toys and chairs for us to use while staying here; which is nice so we did not have to bring any. All you need to pack is your beach towel and swim suit and you are ready for vacation. The beach is very family friendly and the community pool as well. Loved dining on the balcony as well as sitting and enjoying the sound of the ocean when not on the beach. I even saw a dolphin in the water our last morning while enjoying an early morning before the rest of the family woke up! Thank you for opening your home to us Michael! We had a wonderful time!

5 Star Potential

We just returned home from our stay in 701B Summerhouse. This is my honest review. We are a family of 5 (3 teens). The location of the property is excellent...right on the beach. The condo itself was the perfect size for us. Our girls shared the bunk room, my son had a room to himself, and my husband and I were in the primary bedroom. Each bedroom and living area of the condo has wall-size window views of the ocean and beach. Absolutely beautiful! And each room has access to the corner balcony...again, beautiful. The unit itself looks to have been painted and updated, though there are a few issues to point out. And once these issues have been remedied, this will be a 5-star rental! The owners are fabulous and kept communication open the whole time we were there. They are aware of these issues and are working to correct them. First, the hot water heater is not large enough to accommodate a larger family. We were able to get through two showers before running out. The owners sent a repair man over who was able to adjust the settings and then we were able to get three showers before running out. I believe a larger hwh is needed for this unit size. Second, the bathrooms need to be fully updated. You can see were some things were done. However, the primary shower needs a whole new shower pan, there are some tiles that don't meet up to the wall correctly, the corrosion needs to be removed, and the sink needs to replaced with a taller cabinet. Since the space is limited, the primary bathroom really should be pristine and in 100% condition. The secondary bathroom needs to have the corrosion removed and a taller sink cabinet. Even though the dishwasher and oven were functional, their age showed; updated appliances to match the refrigerator would go a long way in this space. Last, the living room sofa and recliners, though functional, showed their age. As the weather was not always bright and sunny, we were in the unit a lot, and would have been much more comfortable with the above referenced updates. As with the majority of real estate, bathrooms and kitchens make or break those deals. Overall, I would come back to Summerhouse and would stay in this rental if the updates were made. The pool right on the beach is nice, too. We did not use the hot tub as it was with the indoor pool away from the views of the beach.

Much needed family vacation!

Great place to stay. Our family needed a family vacation which we try to do each year. When dealing with and communicating with the property manager, he was upfront, and very pleasant to deal with. The place was in great shape and looks incredible. Love the wrap around balcony. Beach access is quick and easy. Everything is family friendly. And the relaxation aspect is high. Property manager was upfront about the limited parking and construction that was on going so we knew what to expect. Parking was a little bit of a hassle but the overall amenities were great. This vacation was fantastic.

My wife Christy and I have enjoyed the Orange Beach and Gulf Shores area since we were both children. After we were married, we decided to make a trip to Orange Beach an annual (at least) tradition. It's such a beautiful beach, the people in the area are so friendly, and there are lots of great restaurants to visit.

About 6 years ago, we stayed in this location. Up until that year, we had intentionally stayed at different units each year as we enjoyed trying different places. However, after we visited this Summerhouse location, we decided this was our favorite and we returned here every year after that. We were ecstatic when we had the chance to purchase the property earlier this year.
