Great country location!

Enjoyed this quiet, peaceful location in the country. It was a great home base for sightseeing in Normandy. Home had everything we needed. The host was very responsive if we had questions.

Beautiful holiday home

Very charming holiday home located at a quiet street. The house offers everything you need and the inside is like a museum. The bakery is just a 5 minute drive and you can pick fresh eggs every morning. The welcoming was also very friendly. Highly recommended!

Quiet countryside retreat

Super chouette! After a busy week in Paris, this was the perfect retreat for our group of friends. Christophe was very welcoming and gave us wonderful recommendations for local merchants. The house is very unique and full of wonderful surprises. It is in a great location for getting to many of the sites in the area. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Great gite, perfect countryside stay!

A wonderful stay in a quirky, beautiful traditional gite with a tower!! Set in lovely large grounds, on the side of a valley... The views were wonderful! We loved spending time on the deck in the evenings and at meal times, the countryside peace was fabulous. The gite has 4 great bedrooms and we had everything we could need. The walk down to the village provided great exercise!!! It's very hilly! WiFi is intermittent depending on where you are on the property but the mobile signal is generally quite good. The hot tub was great, it is a wood fire heated hot tub so it takes a while to heat up but once heated, it was relatively easy to keep warm for the duration of our stay. We loved looking after the chickens and enjoyed our 2 eggs!

Bonneville-la-Louvet

We spent a week here in September with family. Not sure the photo's do justice to the house itself, some of the photo's indicate that the place was a little dated, that was certainly not the case, it is truly lovely with stunning views down the valley, we used the hot tub a couple of times which was nice, if I'm honest we didn't quite get the temperature right but enjoyable nonetheless. Christophe could not have been more helpful and even drove 2 hours following a power cut to make sure everything was back on again, that is going above and beyond! We managed to get 5 eggs in a week from the 2 chickens who frequently parked themselves outside the front door in search of food, strangely they really like cheese sticks but didn't appreciate apple sauce. The Italian restaurant in the village is also a treasure to be explored, we ate there twice and the food was excellent both times. All in all a lovely house in a wonderful location.

The most beautiful French country home!

This is one of the first times that a VRBO was actually more beautiful than the pictures. If you want to know what it's like to live in a french chateau, then this the place for you. Located in a beautiful little town and central to all the normandy beach locations, this is the perfect family place. 4 full bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms and the downstairs bar to boot - like an english pub. This has been updated head to toe with modern conveniences'. The shower downstairs is very high tech and wonderful. Also, there is a chicken that will become a family favorite (we named Gastone) who just loves to hang out with the fam all day. This is truly one of the most beautiful places you could rent - so if you have the chance - don't miss this. Footnote, we had 7 and everyone had plenty of room to sleep and wander throughout this awesome chateau.

Un havre de paix idéalement situé en Normandie

C'est notre deuxième séjour au manoir de la Chouette, et toujours un plaisir. La maison est très bien équipée, les vues sur la campagne magnifiques, et disposer d'une salle de bains par chambre est très appréciable entre amis. Tout est impeccable, et le propriétaire très disponible pour toute question.

Landschloss

Ein Ferienhaus in völliger Abgeschiedenheit - Natur, Landschaft, Stille pur. Die Ausstattung mit antikem Mobiliar ist in Ferienhäusern selten und schafft herrschaftliche Atmosphäre. Sehr angenehm! Kleinere Probleme wurden von Christoph und Isabell umgehend gelöst. Man sollte allerdings darauf hinweisen, dass der Whirlpool angeheizt werden muss, falls man ihn warm benutzen möchte (Aufheizzeit 3 h).

Merveilleux week-end dans un cadre splendide

Nous avons passé un week-end entre amis au Manoir de la Chouette, qui a été parfait du début à la fin. La maison est superbe, très spacieuse, avec une superbe vue sur le bocage normand. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et la visite de Christophe pour nous partager certaines anecdotes sur les beaux objets qu'on y trouve, ainsi que les oeufs frais récupérés au poulailler le matin ! Il est facile de rayonner dans la région en voiture, Honfleur et Deauville sont à 30 minutes seulement. Nous serons heureux d'y séjourner de nouveau.

Eine wundervolle Woche in einem wirklich traumhaften Anwesen

Das Haus ist in jeder Hinsicht einzigartig. Die Realität übertrifft die Beschreibung: Liebevoll eingerichtet, vollständig ausgestattet und voller netter Details. Die Betten sind sehr angenehm (wenn auch etwas schmal für zwei Erwachsene). Das Grundstück ist groß und bietet einen tollen Blick über die Hügel der Normandie. Die zwei neugierigen Hühner in ihrer Voliere runden das Bild ab und liefern mit etwas Glück auch noch Beiträge zum Frühstück. Das einzige kleine Manko war vielleicht, das ausgedehnte Spaziergänge mit Hund direkt vom Haus aus nicht so gut möglich sind. Hier ist eine kurze Fahrt zumindest ins nächste Dorf empfehlenswert.

Quels charmes !!! Quel domaine !

Un week-end sublimé par les charmes du manoir de la chouette. Les photos étaient magnifiques, la réalité magique. Le pub, les chambres avec chacune son cachet, la cheminée, la salle à souper... Et les pianos :-) Le propriétaire ni trop, ni trop peu, comme on aime avec un beau sens de l'accueil. Nous reviendrons. Un grand merci, pour tout.

Parfait de bout en bout

Nous avons passé un week-end mémorable au manoir de la Chouette. Confort, équipements, charme authentique, propreté, remplacement au calme et amlgré tout proche d'Honfleur et Deauville : tous les ingrédients étaient réunis pour un séjour réussi. Tres beau hamoir lumineux et accueillant en pleine nature!

Nous avons passé 5 jours de vacances au hamoir en famille. Très bel endroit, agréable, très bien equipé et avec de l’espace. Propriétaire accueillant et bienveillant. Nous avons apprécié en particulier le séjour lumineux, le très beau piano, le Jacuzzi extérieur avec vue sur la nature, le feu ouvert, la déco insolite qui donne au lieu plein de cachet. Un magnifique endroit bien situé

Le manoir de la chouette nous a permis de profiter de la campagne ( Quelle vue) de l'espace , du piano , du Spa Nous avons également visité les environs Pont l'eveque Lisieux sans oublier les bords de mer Honfleur Trouville Cabourg etc.. Le manoir est magnifique et pittoresque , son emplacement permet de profiter des joies de la campagne et de la mer au calme De plus Myriam a été tres disponible et très agréable . Un sejour que nous n'oublierons pas ! Merci encore.

Traumhafte Unterkunft mit besonderem Flair

Das Haus ist innen und außen einfach wunderschön. Eine ganz besondere Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail in jedem einzelnen Raum. Von außen toll anzusehen mit riesigem Garten in ungestörter Abgeschiedenheit. Perfekt zum Entspannen und guter Ausgangspunkt für tolle Ausflüge. Sehr nette Kommunikation vor, während und nach der Reise. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein wundervolles Urlaubsdomizil mitten in der Normandie

Ein tolles Landhaus mitten im Grünen mit einem weitläufigen Garten! Wir waren mit Kindern, Freunden und einem Hund dort und haben jeden Tag genossen. Das Haus ist wundervoll und besonders eingerichtet und der Whirlpool im Freien trägt zur vollen Entspannung bei. Zwei Hühner haben uns mit frischen Eiern versorgt, der Bäcker im Ort ist hervorragend und man hat es nicht weit zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein toller Urlaub!

Superbe séjour

Le lieu est incroyable. Un vrai coup de coeur, vraiment, avec une maison pleine de charme et décorée avec goût, ses magnifiques pianos, le billard russe, sans oublier le bain nordique, super agréable en extérieur (un peu challengeant pour savoir comment le réchauffer à la bonne température, mais après quelques tentatives et avec l'aide d'Isabelle, on a pu bien en profiter !) et ce jardin immense avec de la verdure à perte de vue, son poulailler et ses oeufs frais tous les jours... c'était un vrai moment de détente et au plus proche de la nature. En plus de ça le soleil était au rendez vous, que demander de plus ! On reviendra, c'est certain ! Un grand merci à Isabelle ainsi qu'à Christophe pour leur accueil :)
