I vårt hus är en två våningar, fullt möblerade, mysiga radhus med trädgård för privat bruk.
Huset ligger i ett lugnt bostadsområde gata utan genomfartstrafik och förvärvades i slutet av 2013, renoverade och inredda moderna och mysiga och är i hyran sedan början av 2014
Läget erbjuder utmärkta förbindelser till kollektivtrafiken och till motorvägen. Med S-Bahn, Kölns centrum, utställningen eller Lanxess Arena i 10-15 minuter nås.
Även inom 10 minuter (till fots) är små skogar och sjöar för att nå.
I och runt Köln Reglerade stora gårdar (Ford, Bayer, etc.) är lättillgängliga.

Huset är fullt utrustat och erbjuder u. A. Wi-Fi, en privat parkering, barnsäng, barnstol.

Convenient for Cologne!

This property was perfect for us - we wanteda bedroom each, a place to sit (undercover) outside, and an easy trip (10mins) into Cologne. The latter is made possible by the close location to Holweide train station. The place was clean and most functional. Our host was very kind and helpful. This was our second stay here! as it offers exactly what we want from a 3 night stay to see and enjoy Cologne.

Cologne: Holweide Property was excellent

This was a perfect place for us to stay. It is 2 mins from the station and it is about 10-15mins into Koln from there. The property is very clean and there is a nice covered outside area to sit if desired. The owner is extremely helpful and wants to ensure the stay is as perfect as possible. We would stay here again.

Perfect

Lovely house with everything we needed. Excellent location close to city centre with short commute on the train. Quiet friendly neighbourhood. Garden a great asset for chilling after a busy day sightseeing in the city. Gerd went above and beyond for us great host. Met us and explained everything we needed to know. Very nice welcome touches (beer and water). Will certainly return and can 100% recommend this property.

EXCELLENT PROPERTY

The house had 3 good size bedrooms . The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and tea and coffee. Wi fi was excellent, fast and reliable. Easy parking at the front of the house.The garden gets the afternoon/evening sun so ideal to sit outside with a Kolsch. Very short walk to the station for trains to Koln. Also easy 1 hour drive to Eifel mountain area or to Ahrweiler . Ideal house for short breaks to Koln or the area surrounding. The hosts were very prompt and easy to deal with and spoke excellent English

Wonderful townhome with an amazing host!

We loved every moment at Gerd and Claudia’s rental property. From the beginning, Gerd had open communication and was available prior to our stay for any questions or resources he could provide about Koln. The space is adorable and spacious. Very clean and has all the amenities anyone would need to have a comfortable stay. We have five people in our family- each enjoyed their own bed. The backyard and patio space is lovely— we enjoyed our coffee on it each morning. The transportation in proximity to the rental was phenomenal and saved us parking money and Uber/Lyft expenses. The city felt safe and everyone was friendly. The driveway was large and we fit our huge van rental in it. At the end of the stay, we wished we’d booked more time. We would definitely stay here again and we hope to in the coming years when we visit again. Probably the best part about the host- Gerd himself met us at the house the first day and showed us around, answering any questions we had and showing us everything we needed to know about the property. Because the hosts are incredibly organized, we did not have to contact them during our stay. Thank you, Gerd and Claudia— we had an amazing time!

sehr schönes Haus

Es hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es war alles da, was es braucht. Ruhige Lage und Parkplatz für Auto vorhanden. Zu Fuss in zwei Minuten ist man bei der S11 die ins Zentrum fährt.Vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schönes Haus in prima Lage

Ein Reihenhaus in sehr ruhiger, aber verkehrsgünstig optimaler Lage. in 3 Minuten ist man an der S-Bahn, die einen alle 20 Minuten in 10 Minuten zur Haltestelle Lanxess Arena und in 14 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof bringt. Zum Haus gehört eine überdachte Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln und Gasgrill und schönem Blick in den Garten. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Im Kühlschrank waren sogar für jeden eine Dose Kölsch und eine Flasche Wasser bereitgestellt! Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war schon im Vorfeld sehr freundlich und vor allem sehr schnell. Kaum hatten wir eine Frage gestellt, war die Antwort auch schon da. Bei der Abreise hatten wir ein paar Dinge im Haus vergessen, die uns aber umgehend vom Vermieter nachgeschickt wurden. Vielen Dank! Wenn wir wieder mal ein paar Tage in Köln verbringen wollen, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Magnificent location for a Cologne trip

This was the perfect base for us to explore the Christmas markets in Cologne; it was a 15 minute ride to the cathedral from the Holweide train station, which was literally steps away. Gerd was a wonderful host, adding special touches for us (like beer and water in the fridge and chocolates on the beds), and providing good advice on neighborhood (groceries and restaurants) as well as the markets themselves and how best to navigate the brief rail strike the day of our arrival. The home was well appointed, cozy, and quiet, with nothing lacking. We would not hesitate to stay here again when our travels take us back to Cologne.

Great spor

We spent a fabulous weekend in Gerhard and Claudia's beautiful house. Claudia made us feel very welcome and showed us around. It is a perfect location to explore Cologne. Right next to the train station. 15 minutes by train to the city centre. The house was spotless, cozy, quiet, really comfy beds which is very important!! We had a fabulous time and we hope to be back some day. Christmas markets were fabulous too!!

Schöner Urlaub in Köln 22.08.- 27.08.2023

Der Vermieter war sehr nett, erklärte alles und machte eine Führung durch´s Haus. Man fühlte sich sofort zuhause. Das Haus war groß und schön eingerichtet. Und was für alle von Vorteil war das die S-Bahn in 5 min zu erreichen war, wir brauchten keinen Tag das Auto. Das Wetter war schön, das ich auch die ganze Zeit auf der schönen Terrasse sitzen konnte und die Abende genossen habe. Wir haben uns alle, rund herum wohl gefühlt. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Super Wohnung, gute Lage!

Waren zu einem wochenendevent in Köln und die Lage ist super. Alles direkt in der Nähe Und die Wohnung ist auch echt super angenehm. Vorallem die Rolladen, welche grade in Großstädten selten verbaut sind, sind am Haus/Wohnung dabei :) So ists immer schön dunkel!

Beautiful property and fantastic hosts!

We absolutely loved our stay in Holweide. The host was wonderful and so helpful, even adding special touches for us and our kids! He was very communicative and always willing to help! The house is beautiful and perfectly suited our needs. It was amazing watching the sun set in the beautiful yard lined with flowers. Also a big perk was the proximity to the Holweide train station, which is literally steps away, but not loud or disruptive when you’re in the home. The home was perfectly maintained, making it difficult to leave. The only downside was the proximity to grocery stores in the town since we did not have a car, but it’s not a bad walk through beautiful Holweide or you can hop on the train and go to Kaufland, which is a stop away. Highly recommend this rental and this host! Thank you for a memorable stay!

Gemütliches Haus

Sehr nette Vermieter, hübsches Haus mit genug Platz, Terrasse und Garten. Hat alles, was man brauchen könnte. Sehr gute Anbindung. Einkaufs- und Versorgungsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Kleines Manko : Das Fernsehen hat nur Regionalprogramme, für Fernsehfans nicht geeignet.... Haben aber den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Tolle Lage

Sehr schöne Wohnung. Man hat ein ganzes Reihenhaus für sich. Überdachte Terasse und kleiner Garten. S-Bahn um die Ecke. Mehr geht nicht.

Haus + Kommunikation +Service: Alles top

Ich habe das Haus aus beruflichen Gründen 5 Tage allein bewohnt. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, praktisch und es hat alles funktioniert. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter im Vorfeld war immer schnell, informativ und kundenorientiert. Auch vor Ort hat alles prima und flexibel geklappt. Die Lage war für mich optimal, da ich rechtsrheinisch zu tun hatte und ein ruhiges Wohngebiet bevorzuge. Einziger Wermuthtropfen: Ich hatte keine Zeit, den Garten und Grill zu benutzen :-). Gerne wieder!
