This is a great home for the much needed relaxation after a long day in beautiful San Antonio. Enjoy the privacy and nature this home has to offer. You can relax by taking a dip in the private pool, napping in a hammock, or walking the trails that Helotes has to offer.

I’ll stay here when I am San Antonio

Peaceful, comfortable, relaxing, live oaks. Windows all around, Private, loved it. The owner texts you with the code for entry a couple of hours before you stay. I’m a worrier, so I texted them to make sure they remembered. They did, and responded quickly. I would love to come back and have a mini vacation with extended family. Or just visit the windows and views.

nice place

really like the feel of seclusion. lots of trees. nice size pool. be careful though as a camera pointing at the pool, not sure if active. did not see grounds keeper and when i sent email to owner about damage to gate at pool ( no big deal for me) and a wasp nest in the lamp by door (concerning but had no problem) was informed grounds keeper would be there the following week. Overall our stay was great and close enough to San Antonio downtown.

Weekend getaway

The property was clean and well stocked. Very peaceful and a great location. I went to a concern at Floors and it was a short drive from the house, yet peaceful and quiet.

Nice Getaway

House is beautiful as described. Private area with plenty of parking not to mention the house is well equipped with anything you could possibly need. We have a great time and loved our stay would definitely get it again.

Great place to stay

This property was amazing! It's in a secluded area but only a few minutes from town. The outside space was perfect for the adults as well as the kids. We had an amazing time!

Spring break 2024

It was a nice size, and everyone enjoyed their space. Everything was clean. I wish the pool was heated even though I knew it wasn't. It was like ice water in March, so we didn't get to enjoy a swim. The only other thing that would be nice is access to a washer and dryer. I liked how close it was to SeaWorld and Six Flags!

Great quiet location

Great quiet location. Close to lots of things in San Antonio. House was very clean, the beds were comfortable & communication with the manager was simple. Kids got in the pool, even when it was cold. Would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the serene surroundings.

SO ENJOYABLE!!

We typically stay in hotels or condo resorts for vacation but checked out VRBO homes this year for a quick trip to San Antonio. All of the 5-star ratings for this home seemed unreal but I cannot say enough GREAT things about this property. The home was very roomy and we LOVED having a private pool. Minor issues were addressed immediately by the property manager. I left an outfit and hope to coordinate the return to me, via mail, with the property manager. This property is roomy, very clean, secluded but close to stores, gas, etc. and I can’t express enough how much my family enjoyed staying at this home.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful house! I enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The house was super clean. I was able to easily communicate with the property owner. He responded quickly! If you want to get away from the daily routine and city life , this is a great place to go to.

Very nice home great location

Only there a couple of nights taking our grandson to sea world and the wildlife safari. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. Our only issue was the AC being turned off when we arrived. It was 95 degrees outside and 86 degrees inside. We ended up leaving for an early dinner while the house cooled off. Still a very pleasant stay.

Our San Antonio Family Vacation 🙃

This was by far the most beautiful house I've ever stayed at! The house was so clean and so beautifuly decorated. The beds were so comfortable. The house had everything we needed and more. It was very peaceful and quiet outside but still so close to SeaWorld and other attractions. The kids LOVED the pool! Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous home with us for our family vacation! I will definitely be telling all my friends! Can't wait to go back!

We LOVED this house!

I stayed here for 5 nights with my husband and 3 kids! There was plenty of space, we could have stayed there with another family! Everything is so pretty, the pictures discribe this property perfectly! Let me tell you that the beds were wonderful, we have had some bad experiences with bad mattresses and every bed in this house was wonderful! They provided absolutely everything you would need for cooking, grilling and even complimentary snacks for the kids! The pool is a wonderful addition, we swam everyday! The location is very nice and quite, we were able to get to sea world in 20 mins, down town in 30 mins! Our kids did not want to leave this house! We will visit again! Thank you!

Family of five

We enjoyed the privacy of the pool very much. It was especially nice to use it because the weather was very hot at the end of May. Ernesto was very accommodating and made sure we had enough towels after I let him know we needed some more. There was some light cleaning that we did in the kitchen and dining room area before we felt comfortable enough to cook our meals. We bought cleaning supplies and left them there since we could not take them on the airplane home. There is a charcoal grill that we used to cook chicken and burgers on. We put aluminum foil down first. We like to leave rentals in better condition than we first check in. It was a nice home away from home. There was sticks, dirt and debris outside. We could tell the grounds had not been taken care of in a while. That could be due to the storms though. Ernesto did notify us a couple days before our arrival of a possible downed tree but it had been taken care of before we checked in. We did not see a groundskeeper or cleaning crew at all. They probably had the holiday weekend off. Which was fine, because we enjoyed the privacy. Thank you Ernesto for letting us stay at your home in Helores. We appreciate it very much!

Beautiful property, comfortable home.... with a couple of small suggestions.

My family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children, and my parents stayed in this property for 6 nights. The house and property/ location are beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. The home was clean and pool was a great escape from the unseasonable heat that greeted us in San Antonio (105°+) most days. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the AC and trees kept the house cool. We are looking to relocate to Texas from California and this house is the type and neighborhood we are looking for. There are a few things that need some work . 1st, the shower heads need to go! Especially in the master bedroom. Between the lack of water pressure, the unmovable head, and the soap holder, I couldn't even get my feet wet let alone rinsed after washing. The other bathroom was better but still some shower heads with removable nozels are not expensive or difficult to install and would make a huge difference. Second was the lack of towels and/ or laundry machines. For 6 people to stay in a home for 6 nights, especially one with a pool, many towels are needed. I ended up using the same washcloth for 4 days. I know it is a small thing but for the price we paid per night i would like to wash myself with a clean towel. The last thing that concerns me is that it seems someone lives in the lower half of the house however, he/she remains unseen, it would be nice for them to make their presence known. The only way we were aware is that we saw someone approaching the house 1 night and then they disappeared, we noticed that a light and fan was on in the lower level. This is not a huge problem but it is a little strange. Overall we had a good time, we were comfortable and entertained and I would stay here again as well as recommend it to someone else.
