Take over this entire centrally located, dog friendly, 4 unit, Victorian home in a prime downtown Newport location right on Historic Spring Street. With a loft, full apartment, single room and suites all located in this building, it is a perfect place for a group stay with ample space for everyone to gather, but also offers each individual guest privacy in their own spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. 86 Spring Street is one of the best locations in Newport. You are a five minute walk to famous landmarks such as Bannisters and Bowens Wharf, Trinity and St. Maryâs Church and The Black Pearl Restaurant. Truly, you are in the heart of it all with dozens of restaurants, shops, bars and sights right outside your door.
Hop in your car for a 10 minute drive to both the Ocean Drive and Bellevue Avenue Preservation Society Mansions.
Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will get an email the day of their stay with the codes to the doors.
Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of our guests.
There are two off street parking spots which are on a first come, first serve basis. There are, however, paid public parking lots on Church Street,and also one on Clarke St. which are both just two blocks away. There is also the option of parking for free at another Windward Lot which is a ten minute walk away located off Broadway. Please contact us if you will be needing access to this lot.
86 Spring Street is a five unit building located on Historic Spring Street with two off street parking spots. There is a single room unit, two large one bedroom suites, a full two bedroom apartment, and a loft. Each unit comes equipped with coffee stations, mini fridges, microwaves, and there are washer/dryers in three of the five units. There is also a kitchenette in Unit 5 and fully stocked kitchen in Unit 4. Please see unit breakdown below for full details of sleeping accommodations.
The entire building has been recently upgraded to mini splits and all of the bathrooms have been renovated. Each unit has also been âfreshened upâ with new decor, window treatments, rugs and furniture. Along with the indoor accommodations, there is a rooftop deck and backyard patio offering rare outdoor space in the heart of downtown.
All of Windwards properties are professionally cleaned between guests and come outfitted in high end linens and towels.
Aside from the cleanliness of the space, it is in one of the most sought after locations in Newport. You are steps away from Thames Street, Bannisters & Bowens Wharf, and endless restaurants, bars, and shopping.
