Conveniently located in the small town of Coloma, Michigan, this property is just minutes away from the beautiful Lake Michigan. This property is the perfect place to spend an eventful family getaway. You get that small town vibe while enjoying some of Michigan's most popular summer beach destinations (South Haven, Saint Joseph, Etc.).

The house sleeps 22 people. If you are caught with more than the approved number of guests, you will be subject to a penalty and be asked to leave the premise at the owners discretion.

This house contains 7 bedrooms, equipped with 8 beds (3 King beds, 5 Queen beds). There are 5 full bathrooms throughout the house and a beautiful updated kitchen with stainless steal appliances. There are 2 large dining tables located near the kitchen that will allow for up to 16 people with 2 additional barstools at the kitchen island.

The house has a family room with a large couch and 60" TV connected to satellite. The room is surrounded by windows so you get a great view of the beautiful midwest landscape while enjoying the coziness of the home.

There is also a living room with a large couch, fireplace, and a 60" TV connected to satellite. The living room is connected to the one-of-a-kind 65'x35' deck for easy accessibility.

The basement is 50’ by 20’, complete with a large couch, 60” TV connected to satellite, a ping pong table, and foosball table.

One of the coolest additions to the house is the indoor turf feel. A large 65' by 35' heated room with concrete walls and performance turf. This room, equipped with 2 miniature soccer goals, is the ideal place for the kids to run around and enjoy the liberty of playing sports without the worry of causing any damage.

Finally, the 65'x35' deck is the perfect place to sunbathe, hang out, or enjoy an outdoor meal. Located at the top of a hill, the deck overlooks the wide open 19-acres, with views of the outdoor basketball court, the pond, and nearby vineyards. It allows near-360 views of the beautiful Michigan landscape at all times of the year.

The house comes equipped with a backup generator in the event of a power outage.

We kindly ask that you refrain from loud amplified music, larger events, or excessive noise outside of the house. We have a great relationship with our neighbors and want to maintain it.

Minimum age of primary renter must be 30. No smoking allowed on the property.

No High School or College Parties at all, this home is made for families! Outdoor quiet time begins at 10:00 pm, no exceptions.

We ask that you to be courteous and respectful with this newly remodeled family home.

Rental insurance required to book this property!

Bookings on/near 4th of July holiday require a 5 night minimum booking.

Great place for a large group

Property was beautiful. Close to everything while feeling like you’re far away from it all. Tons to do for every age group and plenty of room to spread out. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone and will certainly come back in the future.

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful family reunion at this property including a family Olympics that included volleyball, pickle-ball, hoops, and numerous track & field events. The house and surrounding property was perfect for our needs.

Great week

We really were impressed with the house. Everything was great! Our family enjoyed basketball contests, pickleball tournaments, whiffle ball games, and fishing! A couple of things that could improve the place is new mattresses in the main floor bedroom, and a couple of umbrellas on the deck to allow some shade on hot sunny days.Also the filter in the dishwasher needs cleaning. . Overall a fantastic week and Chris was very helpful!

Nice property for large get togethers

There were 16 of us and the location had plenty of space for us to gather and not cramped. We especially liked the gym, basketball court and huge deck outside.

Quiet, spacious, and clean

Great spot for a family get-together

This property was terrific and a 5-Star in all aspects but one. The internet was slow and spotty. The owner/manager has advised they are working to improve that, once they do this will be the perfect spot for any family vacation!

Great spot for big groups

Seven families with small children stayed at this property and we loved it! Each room was big enough to accommodate a pack and play with room to spare. The separate living spaces gave us plenty of room to spread out. A few of us caught some fish at the pond too! The only con of the property was very slow wifi (difficult to even send an email).

Family vacation celebration of our 50th anniversary

We boated and fished on Paw Paw lake. Visited shopped and dined at Coloma and St Joseph . Enjoyed bbq, basketball, volleyball, soccer, fire pit and fishing in the pond. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the house that we enjoyed eating together, playing games and still had privacy! This vacation was better than expected. The property was beautiful for family pictures too! Rate this a 10 out of 10

Huge house.

A lot of square feet in this house and all the rooms including bedrooms are large. Kitchen faucet is electronic and difficult to use. Plenty of towels, not very many wall hooks to hang towels on. Had sports equipment in basement but almost all balls needed air. Had foos ball table but electronic score keeper did not work. Several tvs located in house no tvs in bedrooms. Overall it's a wonderful stay. Very clean, kitchen very well stocked with cooking needs. House even had a separate freezer to use. The grounds are beautiful, and the outside deck would easily handle 100 people.

Worth every cent!!

Some may look at this property online and be hesitant due to the cost. However this is our second year for my brother, our spouses, our married children and our grandchildren!! Before we even left everyone was saying we need to come hear every year. I cannot imagine a better situation for a family reunion. The home is very clean, large, plenty of rooms, conversation spaces and activites for all the kids. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We are grateful!

Great place for a family with children, very family oriented

Beautiful home and property. Spacious inside the home and out. A huge deck for the entire family to enjoy. Including; fully furnished comfortable lawn furniture and (2) large grills. All appeared to be new. We brought along a bouncy house and games, and still only used half the deck. There was 10 adults and 9 children in our family. This is our 5th year coming to Michigan, staying at a different location each year. We will be returning here next year. You have to experience this place, you won't be disappointed. Walt A.

Perfect for a large family

Our family loved the house but we were not able to enjoy the beautiful deck much because of the lack of umbrellas for shade. Luckily we brought A standing umbrella and base to use the long table. Lighting on the bedrooms was poor, we had to get table lamps to use in some of the bedrooms. We added a fluorescent tape to the step going towards the front door for safety . We have no other complaints we throughly enjoyed our stay Four generations in one house ! It Was awesome

Family Reunion

Wow!!! Above and beyond anything we could have imagined! Perfect home and space for all of us (15 grandchilden - three with pack n' plays and one with blowup mattress plus 9 adults). The indoor soccer field was amazing and the grandkids spent much of their time there when not at the beach. The home is like new - clearly a loved and cherished home. Before we departed we were all trying to plan to come again. I would highly recommend this home for families, couples - small groups, etc. Chris was responsive whenever we had a question. Thank you to the homeowners for providing such a space that ministered to our family.

Summer nights in Michigan

We hosted a large group at this location for a three day meditation retreat. This was the perfect location to hold us while we disconnected from the outside world. The entire property is magnificent. Waking up in the morning and walking out on the magnificent deck enjoying a cup of tea at at 9:30 PM at night as the sunset, and falling in love as firefly's filled the sky was something out of a fairy tale book. Lots of sleeping spaces for people to rest and bathrooms, with clean running water and fresh towels. Our favorite part of this place was the GIANT indoor soccer field, which is where the group gathered for the meditation, yoga, and processing. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped to feed our large group, and lots of sitting space and table for people to connect and enjoy one another. It was truly a magical weekend for our group. The owners and property care takers were responsive and helpful with everything we needed before to help us plan, and any issues or questions that we had during our stay. There is also a pretty pond, full of fish, so bring your pole, get ready to relax and recharge. We are already planning our next visit back to this magical piece of Michigan. Thank you again for offering a truly exception location for us to enjoy.

Meditation retreat with 18 adults

This is the second time our group has rented this house. We love this location for hosting our meditation sessions, as we utilize the GIANT indoor soccer room for the sits. Plenty of space for everyone to have a yoga mat, and a blanket and to have space to stretch out and relax. The door to the basketball court allows people the opportunity to get some fresh air. The house has plenty of sleeping spaces for everyone we had 18 adults, and there was a great flow in the space. Lots of bathrooms for privacy and a great kitchen for cooking all our delicious meals. We had Meijer deliver groceries throughout the weekend for things we needed (10 minutes away) . The host was wonderful and communicated anytime we had any questions or concerns. The beds are very comfortable and soft and the sheets and blankets high quality. Our favorite is the beautiful wood deck, we would all gather and sit out there to enjoy the space and the sun rise and sunset. watching the colors change in the trees, and even the night rain and lightning. We really love this location and are looking forward to coming back in the spring. Thank you so much!

5 families vacationing together post pandemic!

This house was amazing for a large group of 5 families enjoying time together post vaccinations with a range of kids from 2 yrs to 15 yrs old. The teens loved the full basketball court, turf room and expansive grounds to run around on. The adults loved the huge deck with the many options for sunning, lounging and relaxing. South Haven (Silver) beach was a short 15 min drive away and the boys went biking around the neighborhood. This house has everything you could think of from two large grills to everything you needed in a kitchen to cook and more! You could tell so much thought went in to ensuring guests would be comfortable from the extra blankets and towels to the quality of cookware in the kitchen. The bedrooms were all very spacious and everyone could comfortably spread out. Even with 19 people, we never felt crowded, and that’s saying a lot when everyone has been fairly isolated for the past year! A heavy storm passed through overnight on our last night taking out the power in the neighborhood but you wouldn’t know it because the backup generator kicked in so we were still able to drink our coffee in the morning! We had so much fun and enjoyed our stay immensely that everyone has requested to return next year and make this an annual trip! We just hope the house will be available!

Our family vacation in Coloma Mi @ 2780 Bessemer Rd 2021

At first, we were a bit apprehensive , as I was speaking for 23 family members ( ages 3-74 visiting and leaving…in and out) . We weren’t sure how each family group would do. Suffice it to say that we were ‘overwhelmed’ with the beauty and peacefulness walking thru the front door. From the moment we stepped inside, we had no doubts that we had made a great decision. The oversized deck allowed adults to toss bags and grill, while kids sat on swing, enjoyed the awesome deck furniture and kept themselves busy the entire time …indoors and out! Inside, they loved playing in lower level and stepping down into what we have dubbed ‘the turf room’. Ping pong was a plus. The well stocked large kitchen made family dinners a true pleasure. Dealing with Chris on every single level was a complete joy. I must have asked a hundred questions and he answered all with complete confidence and knowledge. IF he didn’t know the answer, he certainly received one speedily. Any and all issues were met satisfactorily. I would absolutely recommend this home for a weeks stay….(tho’ one week just wasn’t enough). Sincerely, Kathy Berg-and family. P.S. many amenities …don’t forget to ask about them..

Huge Beautiful House- Fun for All Ages!

What a great house! Everything looks brand new in this huge home. Our group of 15 (ranging from toddlers to grandparents) had more than enough space to spread out- as well as great areas to come together. The adults especially loved the spacious deck and gas fire pit and the kids couldn’t get enough of the turf room, ping pong, foosball and huge bball court! Catch and release fishing in the pond was enjoyed by all ages- caught catfish, bluegill and bass! (BYO poles and tackle- and bug spray!) The kitchen is very well appointed- all we had to bring was food! One downside was the ice maker/water dispenser wasn’t working so we had to buy ice and bottled water, but only a slight inconvenience overall. We really appreciated the room darkening curtains and comfortable beds in the bedrooms! Made for great sleep after a busy day playing! Having nightstands on both sides of the beds and bedside reading lights would have made it just perfect. There were plentiful bath towels, hand towels and washcloths and very nice hand soap and lotion in each bathroom- such nice touches. We wished there had been a few more written instructions provided- such as what to do if wifi doesn’t connect, how to work the TVs, how to turn the sink on (tap faucet), how to turn the dishwasher on (light switch) and what the owners prefer you do before leaving: ie strip beds, put towels in one spot, etc- would save a lot of time trying to figure things out and/or having to bother the property manager. (But the property manager is extremely responsive and helpful! Shout out to the team for finding and returning a stuffed animal that was inadvertently left behind!) Overall it is an amazing property. Peaceful setting, tons of space, very clean and plenty for all ages to do. We would definitely stay here again!
