Absolutely spectacular stay!
My fiancé and I spent several days at this incredible house on a recon mission to see if it would be a good place for our upcoming wedding. Needless to say it checked all of our boxes and more.
First, we need to commend Dawn and Tina Jo for being the perfect hosts....extremely attentive without being the least bit obtrusive. Very responsive and they both went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
As for the house itself, again, all we can say is WOW and that you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here (the photos online are beautiful but do not do justice to what you’ll experience once you arrive). The house is appointed with a stylish, high end beach house feel to it, but very comfortable all the same. Living, dining and kitchen area are all open together making this the focal point for entertaining and enjoying the company of all the guests who might be staying. The outside patio is another area all to itself with a combination of shade or sun. Also well appointed and perfect for dining alfresco.
Comfortable beds with en-suite bathrooms in 3 of the bedrooms lends to any privacy concerns.
Finally, there’s the beach and once again, it was hard to find any fault. Wide, long and perfect for walking and any runners in the group. Being situated in a large bay, there really isn’t much surf, but perfect of young kids and swimmers (water was probably in the low 70’s while we were there). Also, for anyone interested in fishing, the lagoon behind the house offers all you could ask for.
To conclude, we ended up booking for the wedding which should tell you all you need to know about how we feel about not only the house, but the overall experience of the whole area.
Perfect spot to escape all the craziness we’ve all been enduring. Highly, highly recommend!
