Om boendet

När hemifrån, är det viktigt att känna så avslappnad som möjligt och vi tror att du kommer att vara på Palacio de Baja.

Rummen är rymliga och inredningen är bekväm, generös och smakfulla. Sovrummet rymmer upp till fem, med en dubbelsäng och tre enkelsängar. Det andra sovrummet sover upp till fyra med en dubbelsäng och två dubbelsängar. Det finns också en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet som gör till en säng och kommer att sova två och en bekväm futon i det gemensamma området som kommer att sova 2 också.

Matsalen har en vackert handgjorda bord och åtta stolar, och en annan tabell med plats för sex, sitter nära fönstret bild med utsikt över den orörda stranden.

Det finns två badrum med kaklade duschar och vackert inredda för att återspegla kulturen.
På uteplatsen, koppla av med en bra bok om en bekväm fåtölj och sola sig i solen eller sitta under paraplyet.

Köket är välfylld och har utsikt över stranden (det finns inget bättre sätt att laga mat!)
Det finns en utomhus eldstad där du kan njuta av klar bild av stjärnorna och stadens ljus i Ensenada i fjärran.

La Bufadora är en 5 mil enhet den väg där du kan njuta av vackra vyer, shopping och fantastisk mat. Ensenada är en 20 minuters bilresa norr där du kan njuta mer fantastisk mat, shopping och ett besök på fiskmarknaden.

Home away from home

Definitely coming back

The house was absolutely amazing. It is way bigger than in the pictures. Everything we needed was provided plus more. The house was very clean and had very beautiful views of the beach. My family and I had a great time. We’re definitely booking again next time we visit!

Very beautiful place, peaceful near to the beach

I will like to go back to you property which is one of the kind, very completely with all you need, for a great stay at the beach very beautiful. The person in charge very nice and helpful person, but I’m so sorry to tell you this, the property is infected with bed bags all family came out with several bed bags bites . If you solve this problem is a beautiful place to go back. Sorry to tell you this but probably you did not know about this. Thank you very much

Beautiul beach!

Great location! We love Punta Banda and this was our 5th year returning. A different house each time and this was the best so far. Well stocked with everything, comfortable beds, a real home away from home. Hope to come back next year.

Awesome time!

This house was very nice! It had everything we needed. There were a couple of nights that we opted to sleep in the living room just to get the sea breeze and have the waves crashing in the background. We used a lot of the blankets. Sorry, Cathy. The location was great! We had the beach to ourselves. The only thing we had to worry about was what we were going to eat. We loved that it was quiet. Just what we wanted since we went there to relax. Cathy was easy to get a hold of. Sadly, there was a beached dolphin in front of the house and it smelled. Cathy took care of it right away. We will definitely keep this house in mind for our next trip back.

New memories 2021

Our family enjoyed every minute of it. We had a first timer to vacation in Baja, and she enjoyed it and was not disappointed at all. Looking forward to renting again. House is in an amazing location. The kids are able to just go in. Very private.

Great location needs renovations

We as a family enyoyed the house because of the location in front of the beach. The house was not fully cleaned, the bathroom was dirty, they have ants all over the place. They need some renovations, the lamp was broken. At first we could not start the stove but called the manager and came with new gas. I would hope for the next time if they are charging for a cleaning fee they review the house before so it is clean and has gas. Thanks,

AMAZING FAMILY TIME

Fantastic place

We had such a great time! The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of beds and places to relax. You can’t beat being right in the beach! The recommendations for fresh fish were spot on and La Bufadora is just a short drive down the road. Fun for everyone!

Cute and cozy

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is a two bedroom two bath home. The layout was comfortable and the rooms were separate. The colors were very nice and the house was well stocked. It's right on the beach. We loved being able to walk outside and enjoy the weather. The only downside was the lack of air circulation in the bedrooms. There was 1 small fan in the master bedroom. It was very fresh outside so most people might be comfortable without the air circulation. Another fan would be my only recommendation.

Beautiful beachfront geataway

The house was in an excellent location steps away from the beautiful, pristine, sandy private beach! My husband and I, 3 adult kids and my parents enjoyed the comfort of the spacious house which has plenty of seating and sleeping areas. The house is whimsically decorated and has very comfortable beds with lots of linen and blankets available. Also a washer and dryer is available in the house. The only thing that I thought could use some TLC is the kitchen. The drawers, cabinets and pantry are stuffed and unorganized. A good sorting and discarding would be ideal.

Great beach location and a spacious beach house

We rented for 3 nights over New Year's. There were only 3 of us - my wife and I and our adult daughter. Plenty of room inside and out; comfortable beds, huge kitchen/dining areas. TV and internet worked fine. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and dishes, glasses, etc. Also plenty of spices, cooking oils, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc. Literally right on the beach as the photo implies. There was also a nice fire pit right out front of the beach house and we bought a few bundles of firewood nearby and enjoyed the fire one evening as we listened to the surf. The owner's pre-trip e-mailed driving instructions (on how to drive down from the border and find the place), and her general info/insights into the place and surrounding area were extremely helpful. She was also very prompt at providing any follow-up to our e-mail questions ahead of time. Obviously a caring owner.

This is a property owned by our whole big family: Mom and Dad, their three children and their spouses. We are from Orange County and our kids have enjoyed growing up going to PdB.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Before we had ever been to Palacio de Baja, Mom was the informal 'rental agent' for the original builder of the property. As payment for handling the rentals she was given time at the house. Gradually we all traveled to Baja and fell in love with the quiet, slow pace of life in Mexico and on the beach.

When the owner was no longer able to care for the property we decided that we would like the opportunity to buy it. After praying together for a time and talking to the owner, we were able to purchase the property in 2004.

We feel very blessed to have PdB for our family to enjoy together. We hope you enjoy it too.

We love going down to PdB. We noticed that we like to spend the first few days sleeping in, taking a nap, laying out, or just lying on the beach. It's a great place to detox from everyday life.

There's nothing like waking up, making a pot of coffee, and sitting outside or walking along the beach while drinking said coffee.
